Jeremiah

31

1At that time, says Yahweh, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
1 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Alwaati woodin ra, ay ga ciya Israyla kundey kulu se Irikoy, ngey mo ga ciya ay jama.
2Thus says Yahweh, The people who were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
2 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Jama kaŋ na takuba yana, kaŋ ga ti Israyla, A ga du gomni saajo ra, Waati kaŋ ay ga koy zama ay m'a no fulanzamay.
3Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
4Again will I build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: again you shall be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who make merry.
5Again you shall plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall enjoy its fruit.
6For there shall be a day, that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let us go up to Zion to Yahweh our God.
6 Zama han fo ga kaa kaŋ batukoy ga jinde sambu Ifraymu tondey boŋ ka ne: «Wa tun, iri ma kaaru ka koy Sihiyona, Rabbi iri Irikoyo do.»
7For thus says Yahweh, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, along with the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who travails with child together: a great company shall they return here.
8 Guna, azawa kambe laabo ra no ay ga fun d'ey, Za ndunnya me no ay g'i margu i ma kaa. I banda mo danawey da fanakey, Da wayborey kaŋ gonda gunde, Da ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga hay-zaŋay ga kaa care banda. Jama bambata no ga ye ka kaa nango wo ra.
9They shall come with weeping; and with petitions will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
9 Hẽeni no i ga kaa d'a, }waarayyaŋ no ay g'i candi nd'a. Ay ga kand'ey hari zuray meyey gaa, Da fondo kayante gaa, naŋ kaŋ i si kati.
10Hear the word of Yahweh, you nations, and declare it in the islands afar off; and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as shepherd does his flock.
W'a fe gungu moorey ra. Araŋ ma ne: «Nga kaŋ na Israyla say-say, Nga no g'a margu. A g'a kuru sanda mate kaŋ cine hawji ga nga alman kuro kuru.»
11For Yahweh has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.
11 Zama Rabbi na Yakuba fansa*. A n'a faaba boro kaŋ bis'a gaabi kambe ra.
12They shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow to the goodness of Yahweh, to the grain, and to the new wine, and to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
12 I ga kaa ka doon farhã sabbay se Sihiyona tudo boŋ. I moydumey ma go fas-fas Rabbi gomno sabbay se, Zama a n'i no ntaasu nda reyzin hari, da ji, Da alman kayney da alman beerey izey. I fundey ga hima sanda kali kaŋ i goono ga haŋandi. I si ye ka lakaw mo koyne.
13Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
Zama ay g'i bu bara bare a ma ciya farhã, Ay g'i kunfa mo. Ay m'i no farhã i taabo nango ra.
14I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says Yahweh.
Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
15Thus says Yahweh: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.
15 Yaa no Rabbi ci: I maa jinde fo Rama ra, Baray da hẽeni korno no. Rahila goono ga hẽ nga izey se, A wangu nda yaamaryaŋ nga izey sabbay se, Zama i si no.
16Thus says Yahweh: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says Yahweh; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
16 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Ma ni jinda ganji hẽeni. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
17There is hope for your latter end, says Yahweh; and your children shall come again to their own border.
Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
18I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus, You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as an untrained calf: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are Yahweh my God.
18 Daahir, ay maa Ifraymu goono ga hẽ nga boŋ se, A goono ga ne: «Ni n'ay gooji sanda handayze kaŋ mana doona calu, ay gooji mo. M'ay bare, ay mo ga bare ka ye ka kaa, Zama nin no ga ti Rabbi ay Irikoyo.
19Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I struck on my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.
19 Ay kambayaŋo banda, ay tuubi. Ay goojiyaŋo banda ay n'ay tanja kar.
20Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says Yahweh.
20 Ifraymu ya ay izo kaŋ ay ga ba gumo no, wala? Ize kwaaso mo no, wala? Zama baa kaŋ ay ga salaŋ ka gaaba nd'a, Kal ay ma soobay ka fong'a gaa, Woodin se no ay bina goono ga hẽ a se. Daahir ay ga bakar a se. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
21Set up road signs, make guideposts; set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went: turn again, virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
22How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? for Yahweh has created a new thing in the earth: a woman shall encompass a man.
Zama Rabbi ga hari taji fo taka ndunnya ra, A ga hima sanda wayboro ma alboro koli ka windi.
23Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, Yet again shall they use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I shall bring again their captivity: Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.
23 Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo ci: I ga ye ka sanno wo dumi ci Yahuda laabo ra, d'a galley ra, waati kaŋ ay ye ka kand'ey ka fun d'ey tamtaray. I ma ne: «Ya adilitaray nangora, ya tondi hananta, Rabbi ma ni albarkandi!»
24Judah and all its cities shall dwell therein together, the farmers, and those who go about with flocks.
24 Yahuda nda nga galley kulu mo ga goro a ra care banda, da alfarey da gana-gana izey kaŋ gonda alman kuru.
25For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.
25 Zama ay ga fundi fargante no fulanzamay, boro kulu kaŋ bine sara ay ma bina toonandi nda farhã.
26On this I awakened, and saw; and my sleep was sweet to me.
26 Woodin boŋ no ay mo hay, ay guna, ay jirbo mo kaan ay se.
27Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of animal.
27 A go, yaa no Rabbi ci, jirbiyaŋ goono ga kaa kaŋ ay ga Israyla laabo da Yahuda laabo duma da Adam-ize da alman dumiyaŋ.
28It shall happen that, like as I have watched over them to pluck up and to break down and to overthrow and to destroy and to afflict, so will I watch over them to build and to plant, says Yahweh.
28 A ga ciya mo, danga mate kaŋ cine ay na laakal ye i daguyaŋ, d'i zeerimi, d'i baguyaŋ, d'i hibandiyaŋ, d'i masiiba gaa -- yaadin cine mo no ay ga anniya ay m'i cina k'i tilam. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
29In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
29 Jirbi woodin yaŋ ra boro si ye ka ne: «Baabey na reyzin ize kaŋ ga mooru ŋwa, Izey hinjey mo bu.»
30But everyone shall die for his own iniquity: every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.
30 Amma boro kulu ga bu nga boŋ zunubo sabbay se. Boro kulu kaŋ na reyzin ize moora ŋwa, a koy hinjey no ga bu.
31Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Guna, jirbiyaŋ ga kaa, Kaŋ yaŋ ra ay ga alkawli taji sambu Israyla kunda da Yahuda kunda se.
32not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says Yahweh.
32 Manti sappa kaŋ dumo ay te d'i kaayey, Hano kaŋ hane ay n'i kambe di k'i kaa Misira laabo ra. Sappa kaŋ i feeri, baa kaŋ ay ya i kurnye no. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:
33 Amma woone ga ti alkawlo kaŋ ay ga sambu Israyla kunda se jirbey din banda, yaa no Rabbi ci: Ay g'ay asariya daŋ i laakaley ra, Ay g'a hantum mo i biney ra. Ay ga ciya i Irikoyo, ngey mo ga ciya ay jama.
34and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh; for they shall all know me, from their least to their greatest, says Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
Zama i kulu g'ay bay gumo, ikayna gaa ibeeri gaa. Yaadin no Rabbi ci, Zama ay g'i goy laaley yaafa.
35Thus says Yahweh, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirs up the sea, so that its waves roar; Yahweh of Armies is his name:
35 Rabbi sanno neeya: Nga kaŋ na wayna no zama a ma ciya kaari zaari haray, Hando nda handariyayzey mo, A n'i waadu i ma kaari cin, Nga kaŋ ga teeko butugu hal a bondayey ma follo, A maa no ga ti Rabbi Kundeykoyo. A ne:
36If these ordinances depart from before me, says Yahweh, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.
Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
37Thus says Yahweh: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says Yahweh.
37 Rabbi sanno neeya: D'a ga hin ka te i ma beeney neesi beene, Ganda dabey mo ma fisi ka fun taray, Kal ay mo, ay ma Israyla banda kulu furu haya kulu kaŋ i te sabbay se. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
38Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that the city shall be built to Yahweh from the tower of Hananel to the gate of the corner.
38 Yaa no Rabbi ci: A go, jirbiyaŋ goono ga kaa kaŋ i ga ye ka gallo cina Rabbi se za Hananeyel Cinari Kuuko gaa kal a ma koy Lokoto Meyo gaa.
39The measuring line shall go out further straight onward to the hill Gareb, and shall turn about to Goah.
39 Neesiyaŋ korfa mo ga salle ka to Gareb tudo gaa haray, hirro ga siiri ka koy Gowa.
40The whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields to the brook Kidron, to the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy to Yahweh; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.
40 Buukoy gooro kulu binde, da boosu wano, da saajo kulu kala ma koy Cidron gooro gaa ka koy to Bariyey Meyo looka gaa wayna funay haray, nangey din ga ciya hananteyaŋ Rabbi se. I si ye k'a dagu koyne, i si ye k'a zeeri mo koyne hal abada.
