1Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle:

3Yahweh, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?
3 Ya Rabbi, ifo no Adam-ize kaŋ ni ga laakal d'a binde? Boro ize mo, ifo no hala ni ma fongu a gaa?
4Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.
4 Adam-ize ga hima sanda fulanzamay funsuyaŋ hinne, A jirbey mo ga hima sanda bi kaŋ goono ga bisa.
5Part your heavens, Yahweh, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.
5 Ya Rabbi, ma ni beeney gungumandi ka zumbu, Ma tondi kuukey ham, kal i ma te dullu.
6Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.
6 Ma nyalawyaŋ catu ka borey say-say, Ma ni hangawey taŋ hal i boŋ ma haw.
7Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners;
7 Ma ni kambe salle a ma fun beene, M'ay faaba, m'ay soolam ka kaa hari bambatey ra. M'ay faaba yawey kambe ra,

8 Ngey kaŋ yaŋ meyey ga sanni yaamo yaŋ te, I kambe ŋwaarey ya tangari kambe ŋwaari yaŋ no.
9I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.
9 Ya Irikoy, ay ga baytu taji te ni se. Moolo hamni waykoy boŋ no ay ga sifaw baytuyaŋ te ni se.
10You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.
10 Nin no ga bonkooney no faaba. Ni ga ni tamo Dawda faaba k'a kaa takuba laala me ra.
11Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
11 M'ay faaba k'ay soolam ka kaa yawey kambe ra, Kaŋ yaŋ meyey ga sanni yaamo te. I kambe ŋwaarey ya tangari kambe ŋwaari yaŋ no.
12Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.
12 Iri ize arey ma ciya sanda tilamyaŋ kaŋ beeri za i zankatara ra, Iri ize wayey mo ma hima faada cinari lokota gaa tondi jabante yaŋ.
13Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields.
13 Iri barmey ma to da nafa kulu dumi, Iri feejey mo ma hay-ka-hay zambarey da dubal-dubal iri kuray nangey ra.
14Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.

15Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is Yahweh.
