1The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
2Thus speaks Yahweh, the God of Israel, saying, Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.
2Thus speaketh Jehovah, the God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
3For, behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says Yahweh; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
3 Zama a go, jirbiyaŋ goono ga kaa, yaa no Rabbi ci, kaŋ ay ga ye ka kande ay borey Israyla, da Yahuda, ka fun d'ey tamtaray. Ay ga ye ka kand'ey laabo kaŋ ay n'i kaayey no din ra koyne, i ga du a mayra mo. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
3For, lo, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
4These are the words that Yahweh spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
4 Woone yaŋ mo, ngey ga ti sanney kaŋ Rabbi ci Israyla nda Yahuda boŋ:
4And these are the words that Jehovah spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5For thus says Yahweh: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
5 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci: Iri maa gaaham gasiyaŋ yooje, Joote wane, manti baani wane bo.
5For thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
6Ask now, and see whether a man does travail with child: why do I see every man with his hands on his waist, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
6 Wa hã sohõ, ka maa hala alboro ga hayyaŋ taabi te? Ifo se no binde kaŋ ay ga di alborey kulu kambey go i cantey gaa, danga day wayboro kaŋ goono ga hayyaŋ taabi te. Ifo se no moydumey kulu go, i yalu bare?
6Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child: wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
7Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
7 Kaari! Zama hano din ya zaari bambata no hal a cine si no. Yakuba taabi alwaato nooya, Amma Rabbi g'a faaba ka kaa woodin ra.
7Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
8It shall come to pass in that day, says Yahweh of Armies, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondservant;
8 Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: A ga ciya, han din hane, Ay g'a calo ceeri ka kaa ni jinda gaa, Ay ma ni sisirey pati-pati. Yawey si ye k'i daŋ tamtaray koyne,
8And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds; and strangers shall no more make him their bondman;
9but they shall serve Yahweh their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.
9 Amma i ga may Rabbi ngey Irikoyo se, Da ngey bonkoono Dawda mo se, kaŋ ay ga tunandi i se.
9but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10Therefore don’t you be afraid, O Jacob my servant, says Yahweh; neither be dismayed, Israel: for, behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
Yaadin no Rabbi ci. Ya Israyla, ma si joote baa kayna, zama za nangu mooro, Nango kaŋ ni go din no ay ga nin da ni banda faaba, Ay m'i kaa ngey tamtaray laabo ra. Yakuba ga ye ka kaa, a ma goro nda laakal kanay, Fitina si, boro kulu s'a humburandi mo.
10Therefore fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith Jehovah; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
11For I am with you, says Yahweh, to save you: for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but I will not make a full end of you; but I will correct you in measure, and will in no way leave you unpunished.
11For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to save thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, but I will not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will in no wise leave thee unpunished.
12For thus says Yahweh, Your hurt is incurable, and your wound grievous.
12 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Zama ni dooro si yay, Ni marayyaŋo mo ga laala gumo.
12For thus saith Jehovah, Thy hurt is incurable, and thy wound grievous.
13There is none to plead your cause, that you may be bound up: you have no healing medicines.
13 Boro kulu si no kaŋ ga ni fansa sambu, Safari si no ni biyo se, Yayandiyaŋ mo si no ni se.
13There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
14All your lovers have forgotten you; they don’t seek you: for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased.
14All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not: for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased.
15Why do you cry for your hurt? Your pain is incurable: for the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins were increased, I have done these things to you.
15Why criest thou for thy hurt? thy pain is incurable: for the greatness of thine iniquity, because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
16Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, everyone of them, shall go into captivity; and those who despoil you shall be a spoil, and all who prey on you will I give for a prey.
16Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that despoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
17For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.
Yaadin no Rabbi ci. Za kaŋ i ne ni se furku, i ma ne: «Sihiyona neeya, kaŋ boro kulu baa si nd'a.»
17For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; because they have called thee an outcast, [saying], It is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
18Thus says Yahweh: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places; and the city shall be built on its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited in its own way.
18 Yaa no Rabbi ci: A go, ay ga Yakuba bukka tamtara bare, Ay g'a nangorayey suuji. I ga birno cina nga tudo boŋ, Faada mo ma goro nga nango ra.
18Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places; and the city shall be builded upon its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited after its own manner.
19Out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
19 I ra mo boro ga maa saabuyaŋ jinde, Da kaani maakoy jinde. Ay g'i labu-care, i si ciya jama kayna mo. Ay g'i beerandi, i si di kayna mo.
19And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
20Their children also shall be as before, and their congregation shall be established before me; and I will punish all who oppress them.

20Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me; and I will punish all that oppress them.
21Their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from their midst; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach to me: for who is he who has had boldness to approach to me? says Yahweh.
21 I jine bora ga ciya i dumo ra boro fo, I maykwa mo ga fatta i game ra. Ay g'a candi ay do, a ga maan ay do mo. Zama man boro kaŋ doona ka te bine-gaabi nga ma maan ay? Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
21And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is he that hath had boldness to approach unto me? saith Jehovah.
22You shall be my people, and I will be your God.
22 Araŋ ga ciya ay jama, Ay mo ga ciya araŋ Irikoyo.
22And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
23Behold, the storm of Yahweh, his wrath, has gone forth, a sweeping storm: it shall burst on the head of the wicked.
23 Guna Rabbi haw beero kaŋ ga kanda hari! Futa go ga fatta! Hirriyaŋ haw no kaŋ ga faaru gumo. A ga gusam laalakoyey boŋ.
23Behold, the tempest of Jehovah, [even his] wrath, is gone forth, a sweeping tempest: it shall burst upon the head of the wicked.
24The fierce anger of Yahweh will not return, until he has executed, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.
24 Rabbi futa kaŋ ga koroŋ si bare bo, Kala nd'a na haŋ kaŋ Rabbi miila kubandi, A ma nga bina miila tabbatandi mo. Jirbey bananta ra no araŋ ga faham da woodin.
24The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall understand it.
