Mark

2

1When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house.
1 Jirbi fooyaŋ banda, waato kaŋ Yesu ye ka furo Kafarnahum, baaro koy nangu kulu kaŋ a kaa fu.
1And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was noised that he was in the house.
2Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them.
2 Boro boobo margu hala nangu si no koyne, baa fu meyo gaa. A go ga waazu i se.
2And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room [for them], no, not even about the door: and he spake the word unto them.
3Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him.
3 I kande boro fo kaŋ yeeni na dabey wi. Boro taaci goono g'a jare.
3And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four.
4When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on.
4 Waato kaŋ i mana du nangu kaŋ ga furo Yesu do borey marga baayaŋ sabbay se, kala i na fuwo beena feeri ka bora da daarijo zumandi.
4And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.
5Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
5 Yesu mo di i cimbeero* ka ne yeenikoono se: «Ay izo, ay na ni zunubey yaafa ni se.»
5And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.
6But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
6 Amma asariya* dondonandiko fooyaŋ go noodin ga goro. I sintin ka salaŋ ngey biney ra
6But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7“Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
7 ka ne: «Ifo se bora din go ga salaŋ ya-cine? A goono ga Irikoy kayna. May no gonda dabari kaŋ ga zunubey yaafa, kala afolloŋ, nga Irikoy?»
7Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, [even] God?
8Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
8 Sahãadin-sahãadin Yesu n'i miiley bay. Kal a ne i se: «Ifo se no araŋ go ga miila woone te araŋ biney ra?
8And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
9 Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?’
9 Woofo no ga faala, ay ma ne yeenikoono se: ‹Ay na ni zunubey yaafa ni se?› wala ay ma ne: ‹Tun ka ni daarijo sambu ka ni diraw te?›
9Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” —he said to the paralytic—
10 Amma zama araŋ ma bay kaŋ Boro* Izo gonda dabari ndunnya ra nga ma zunubey yaafa,» (gaa no a ne yeenikoono se:)
10But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he saith to the sick of the palsy),
11 “I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.”
11 «Ay ga ne ni se: tun ka ni daarijo sambu ka koy fu.»
11I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.
12He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
12 Sahãadin-sahãadin a tun ka nga daarijo sambu ka fatta borey kulu jine. Hal i kulu dambara. I na Irikoy beerandi ka ne: «Iri mana di woone dumi, baa ce fo.»
12And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
13He went out again by the seaside. All the multitude came to him, and he taught them.
13 Yesu ye ka fatta koyne ka koy teeko me gaa. Borey marga go ga kaa a do, nga mo goono g'i dondonandi.
13And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
14As he passed by, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the tax office, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he arose and followed him.
14 Waato kaŋ a goono ga bisa a di Lawi, Halfa izo, kaŋ goono ga goro jangal taayaŋ fuwo ra. Kala Yesu ne a se: «M'ay gana.» A tun mo k'a gana.
14And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alphaeus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
15It happened, that he was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
15 Yesu go ga ŋwa Lawi fuwo ra. Jangal taakoy da zunubikooni boobo goono ga goro Yesu nda nga talibey* banda, zama i boro boobo no k'a gana.
15And it came to pass, that he was sitting at meat in his house, and many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.
16The scribes and the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, “Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?”
16 Asariya* dondonandikoy da Farisi* fonda borey mo, waato kaŋ i di a go ga ŋwa nda zunubikooney nda jangal taakoy, kal i ne a talibey se: «Ifo se no Yesu da jangal taakoy, da zunubikooney goono ga ŋwa care banda?»
16And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and publicans, said unto his disciples, [How is it] that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
17When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
17 Waato kaŋ Yesu maa, a ne i se: «Baanikooney si laami nda safarikoy, kala day doorikomey. Zama manti adilantey ceeyaŋ se no ay kaa bo, amma zunubikooney se.»
17And when Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.
18John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting, and they came and asked him, “Why do John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t fast?”
18 Yohanna talibey da Farisi fonda borey, i mehaw han no zaaro din. I kaa Yesu do ka ne a se: «Ifo se no Yohanna talibey da Farisi fonda borey, i kulu ga hatta ka mehaw*, amma ni talibey ya siino ga mehaw?»
18And John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting: and they come and say unto him, Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
19Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
19 Yesu mo ne i se: «Day hiijay batu borey ga hin ka mehaw za arhiijo go i banda no? Jirbey kulu kaŋ arhiijo go i banda, i day si hin ka mehaw.
19And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.
20 Amma jirbiyaŋ ga kaa, kaŋ i ga arhiijo kaa i game ra. Waato din gaa no i ga mehaw, jirbey din ra.
20But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day.
21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made.
21 Boro kulu si zu taji ta kwaay zeeno gaa, zama itajo ga izeena tooru hala kortimo ma ye ka jaase ijina.
21No man seweth a piece of undressed cloth on an old garment: else that which should fill it up taketh from it, the new from the old, and a worse rent is made.
22 No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.”
22 Boro kulu si no mo kaŋ ga reyzin* hari taji daŋ humbur zeeno yaŋ ra. Zama yaadin gaa reyzin hari tajo ga humburey bagu. Reyzin haro mo ga hasara, nga nda humburey kulu. Amma i ga reyzin hari taji daŋ humbur taji yaŋ ra.»
22And no man putteth new wine into old wineskins; else the wine will burst the skins, and the wine perisheth, and the skins: but [they put] new wine into fresh wine-skins.
23It happened that he was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
23 A goono ga dira farey ra asibti* zaari fo hane. Kal a talibey soobay ka jeeney ceeri.
23And it came to pass, that he was going on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears.
24The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”
24 Farisi fonda borey mo ne Yesu se: «Guna, ifo se no ni talibey goono ga te haŋ kaŋ mana halal* i ma te asibti zaari ra?»
24And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25He said to them, “Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry—he, and those who were with him?
25 Yesu ne i se: «Araŋ mana caw ka di haŋ kaŋ Dawda te no waato kaŋ nga nda nga jama jaŋ ŋwaari?
25And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he entered into God’s house when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”
26 A furo Irikoy* fuwo ra, alfaga* beero Abiyatar jirbey ra, ka buuru* jisanta ŋwa, k'a no mo nga borey se. Buuro din mo, a mana halal boro kulu se a m'a ŋwa, kala day alfagey hinne.»
26How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the showbread, which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests, and gave also to them that were with him?
27He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
27 Waato gaa Yesu ne i se: «I na asibti zaari te boro sabbay se, day i mana boro te asibti zaari sabbay se bo.
27And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”
28 Woodin sabbay se no Boro Izo bumbo ga ti asibti zaaro Koyo.»
28so that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.
