Psalms

131

1Yahweh, my heart isn’t haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.
1 Zijiyaŋ dooni no. Dawda wane no. Ya Rabbi, ay mana te boŋbeeray, Ay mana mo daabay te mo. Ay mana furo muraadu bambata yaŋ ra, Wala hayey kaŋ ga dambarandi gumo ay se.
1A Song of Ascents; of David. Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in great matters, Or in things too wonderful for me.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
2 Daahir ay n'ay laakalo kanandi k'a dangandi, Sanda zanka kaŋ i kaa wa, a go nga nyaŋo do mo. Ay do haray ay laakalo ga hima zanka kaŋ i kaa wa.
2Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forth and forevermore.
3 Israyla ma beeje sinji Rabbi gaa za sohõ ka koy hal abada.
3O Israel, hope in Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore.
