1Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.

2I cry out to God Most High, to God who accomplishes my requests for me.

2I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth [all things] for me.
3He will send from heaven, and save me, he rebukes the one who is pursuing me. Selah. God will send out his loving kindness and his truth.
3 Ay ga hẽ Irikoy Beeray-Beeri-Koyo gaa, Ay ga hẽ Irikoy gaa no, Nga kaŋ ga muraadey kulu feeri ay se.
3He will send from heaven, and save me, [When] he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.
4My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

5Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be above all the earth!
5 Ay fundo go muusu beeriyaŋ bindi ra. Ay go ga kani borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga danji firsi do, Kaŋ yaŋ ga ti Adam-izey, I hinjey ya yaaji nda hangaw yaŋ no. I deeney mo takuba kaano yaŋ no.
5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [Let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.
6They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down. They dig a pit before me. They fall into its midst themselves. Selah.

7My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises.
7 I na kumsay hirri ay ce taamey se, Ay gungum ka ye ganda. I na guusu hirrimi daŋ ay jine, Ngey bumbey no ka kaŋ a ra. (Wa dangay)
7My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises.
8Wake up, my glory! Wake up, psaltery and harp! I will wake up the dawn.
8 Ya Irikoy, ay bina sinji. Ay bina sinji. Ay ga baytu, oho, ay ga sifayaŋ baytu te.
8Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.
9I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations.
9 Ya ay bina, ma mo hay, Ya moolo nda moolo beero, wa mo hay! Ay bumbo ga mo hay za mo mana bo.
9I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
10For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens, and your truth to the skies.
10 Ya ay Koyo, ay ga saabu ni se dumey ra, Ay ga sifaw baytu te ni se dumi cindey ra.
10For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.
11Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.
