¹My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

¹தேவனே, என் இருதயம் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; நான் பாடிக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்; என் மகிமையும் பாடும்.

²Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.

²வீணையே, சுரமண்டலமே, விழியுங்கள், நான் அதிகாலையில் விழிப்பேன்.

³I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.

³கர்த்தாவே, ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.

⁴For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

⁴உமது கிருபை வானங்களுக்கு மேலாகவும், உமது சத்தியம் மேகமண்டலங்கள் பரியந்தமும் எட்டுகிறது.

⁵Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.

⁵தேவனே, வானங்களுக்கு மேலாக உயர்ந்திரும்; உமது மகிமை பூமியனைத்தின்மேலும் உயர்ந்திருப்பதாக.

⁶That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.

⁶உமது பிரியர் விடுவிக்கப்படும்பொருட்டு, உமது வலதுகரத்தினால் இரட்சித்து, எங்கள் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டருளும்.

⁷God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

⁷தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்தத்தைக்கொண்டு விளம்பினார், ஆகையால் களிகூருவேன்; சீகேமைப் பங்கிட்டு, சுக்கோத்தின் பள்ளத்தாக்கை அளந்துகொள்ளுவேன்.

⁸Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.

⁸கீலேயாத் என்னுடையது, மனாசேயும் என்னுடையது; எப்பிராயீம் என் தலையின் பெலன், யூதா என் நியாயப்பிரமாணிகன்.

⁹Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”

⁹மோவாப் என் பாதபாத்திரம்; ஏதோமின்மேல் என் பாதரட்சையை எறிவேன்; பெலிஸ்தியாவின்மேல் ஆர்ப்பரிப்பேன்.

¹⁰Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?

¹⁰அரணான பட்டணத்திற்குள் என்னை நடத்திக்கொண்டு போகிறவன் யார்? ஏதோம்மட்டும் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறவன் யார்?

¹¹Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go forth, God, with our armies.

¹¹எங்கள் சேனைகளோடே புறப்படாமலிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா? எங்களைத் தள்ளிவிட்டிருந்த தேவரீரல்லவா?

¹²Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.

¹²இக்கட்டில் எங்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்; மனுஷனுடைய உதவி விருதா.

¹³Through God, we will do valiantly. For it is he who will tread down our enemies.

¹³தேவனாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்வோம்; அவரே எங்கள் சத்துருக்களை மிதித்துப்போடுவார்.
