¹But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,

¹ฝ่ายเซาโลยังขู่คำรามกล่าวว่าจะฆ่าศิษย์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าเสีย จึงไปหามหาปุโรหิต

²and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

²ขอหนังสือไปยังธรรมศาลาในเมืองดามัสกัส เพื่อว่าถ้าพบผู้ใดถือทางนั้นไม่ว่าชายหรือหญิง จะได้จับมัดพามายังกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม

³As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.

³เมื่อเซาโลเดินทางไปใกล้จะถึงเมืองดามัสกัส ในทันใดนั้นมีแสงสว่างส่องมาจากฟ้าล้อมตัวเขาไว้รอบ

⁴He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”

⁴เซาโลจึงล้มลงถึงดินและได้ยินพระสุรเสียงตรัสแก่เขาว่า "เซาโล เซาโลเอ๋ย เจ้าข่มเหงเราทำไม"

⁵He said, “Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. TR adds “It’s hard for you to kick against the goads.”

⁵เซาโลจึงทูลถามว่า "พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ใด" องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า "เราคือเยซู ที่เจ้าข่มเหง ซึ่งเจ้าถีบประตักก็ยากนัก"

⁶ But TR omits “But” rise up, and enter into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

⁶เซาโลก็ตัวสั่นและรู้สึกประหลาดใจจึงถามว่า "พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์ประสงค์จะให้ข้าพระองค์ทำอะไร" องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสแก่เขาว่า "เจ้าจงลุกขึ้นเข้าไปในเมือง และเจ้าจะต้องทำประการใดจะมีคนบอกให้รู้"

⁷The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.

⁷คนทั้งหลายที่เดินทางไปด้วยกันก็ยืนนิ่งพูดไม่ออก ได้ยินพระสุรเสียงนั้นแต่ไม่เห็นใคร

⁸Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

⁸ฝ่ายเซาโลได้ลุกขึ้นจากพื้นดิน เมื่อลืมตาแล้วก็มองอะไรไม่เห็น เขาจึงจูงมือท่านไปยังเมืองดามัสกัส

⁹He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.

⁹ตาท่านก็มืดมัวไปถึงสามวันและท่านมิได้กินหรือดื่มอะไรเลย

¹⁰Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias!” He said, “Behold, it’s me, Lord.”

¹⁰ในเมืองดามัสกัสมีศิษย์คนหนึ่งชื่ออานาเนีย องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ตรัสกับผู้นั้นโดยนิมิตว่า "อานาเนียเอ๋ย" อานาเนียจึงทูลตอบว่า "พระองค์เจ้าข้า ดูเถิด ข้าพระองค์อยู่ที่นี่"

¹¹The Lord said to him, “Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah or, Judas for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

¹¹องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจึงตรัสกับเขาว่า "จงลุกขึ้น ไปที่ถนนที่เรียกว่าถนนตรง ถามหาชายคนหนึ่งชื่อเซาโลชาวเมืองทาร์ซัสอยู่ในบ้านของยูดาส เพราะดูเถิด เขากำลังอธิษฐานอยู่

¹² and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”

¹²และในนิมิตเขาได้เห็นคนหนึ่งชื่ออานาเนียเข้ามาวางมือบนเขา เพื่อเขาจะเห็นได้อีก"

¹³But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.

¹³แต่อานาเนียทูลตอบว่า "พระองค์เจ้าข้า ข้าพระองค์ได้ยินหลายคนพูดถึงคนนั้นว่า เขาได้ทำร้ายวิสุทธิชนของพระองค์ในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มมาก

¹⁴Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

¹⁴และในที่นี่เขาได้อำนาจมาจากพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ ให้ผูกมัดคนทั้งปวงที่ร้องออกพระนามของพระองค์"

¹⁵But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

¹⁵ฝ่ายองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ตรัสกับท่านว่า "จงไปเถิด เพราะว่าคนนั้นเป็นภาชนะที่เราได้เลือกสรรไว้ สำหรับจะนำนามของเราไปยังประชาชาติ กษัตริย์และชนชาติอิสราเอล

¹⁶ For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

¹⁶เพราะว่าเราจะสำแดงให้เขาเห็นว่า เขาจะต้องทนทุกข์ลำบากมากเท่าใดเพราะนามของเรา"

¹⁷Ananias departed, and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

¹⁷แล้วอานาเนียก็ไป และเข้าไปในบ้านวางมือบนเซาโลกล่าวว่า "พี่เซาโลเอ๋ย องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าคือพระเยซู ได้ทรงปรากฏแก่ท่านกลางทางที่ท่านมานั้น ได้ทรงใช้ข้าพเจ้ามาเพื่อท่านจะเห็นได้อีก และเพื่อท่านจะประกอบด้วยพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์"

¹⁸Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.

¹⁸และในทันใดนั้นมีอะไรเหมือนเกล็ดตกจากตาของเซาโล แล้วก็เห็นได้อีก ท่านจึงลุกขึ้นรับบัพติศมา

¹⁹He took food and was strengthened. Saul stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.

¹⁹พอรับประทานอาหารแล้วก็มีกำลังขึ้น เซาโลพักอยู่กับพวกศิษย์ในเมืองดามัสกัสหลายวัน

²⁰Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed the Christ, that he is the Son of God.

²⁰ท่านไม่ได้รีรอ ท่านประกาศตามธรรมศาลา กล่าวเรื่องพระคริสต์ว่า พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระบุตรของพระเจ้า

²¹All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”

²¹คนทั้งหลายที่ได้ยินก็พากันประหลาดใจแล้วว่า "คนนี้มิใช่หรือที่ได้ทำลายคนในกรุงเยรูซาเล็มที่ร้องออกพระนามนี้ และเขามาที่นี่หวังจะผูกมัดพวกนั้นส่งให้พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่"

²²But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

²²แต่เซาโลยิ่งมีกำลังทวีขึ้น และทำให้พวกยิวในเมืองดามัสกัสนิ่งอึ้งอยู่ โดยพิสูจน์ให้เขาเห็นว่า พระเยซูทรงเป็นพระคริสต์

²³When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,

²³ครั้นต่อมาอีกหลายวันพวกยิวได้ปรึกษากันจะฆ่าเซาโลเสีย

²⁴but their plot became known to Saul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,

²⁴แต่เรื่องการปองร้ายของเขารู้ถึงเซาโล เขาทั้งหลายได้เฝ้าประตูเมือง คอยฆ่าเซาโลทั้งกลางวันกลางคืน

²⁵but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.

²⁵แต่เหล่าสาวกได้ให้เซาโลนั่งในเข่งใหญ่ แล้วหย่อนลงจากกำแพงเมืองในเวลากลางคืน

²⁶When Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.

²⁶ครั้นเซาโลไปถึงกรุงเยรูซาเล็มแล้ว ท่านใคร่จะคบให้สนิทกับพวกสาวก แต่เขาทั้งหลายกลัว เพราะไม่เชื่อว่าเซาโลเป็นสาวก

²⁷But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.

²⁷แต่บารนาบัสได้พาท่านไปหาพวกอัครสาวก แล้วเล่าให้เขาฟังว่าเซาโลได้เห็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าที่กลางทาง และพระองค์ตรัสแก่ท่าน ท่านจึงประกาศออกพระนามพระเยซูโดยใจกล้าหาญในเมืองดามัสกัส

²⁸He was with them entering into TR and NU add “and going out” Jerusalem,

²⁸แล้วเซาโลเข้านอกออกในอยู่กับพวกอัครสาวกในกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม

²⁹preaching boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus. TR and NU omit “Jesus” and reverse the order of verses 28 & 29. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, The Hellenists were Hebrews who used Greek language and culture. but they were seeking to kill him.

²⁹ประกาศออกพระนามของพระเยซูเจ้าด้วยใจกล้าหาญ ท่านพูดไล่เลียงกับพวกกรีก แต่พวกนั้นหาช่องที่จะฆ่าท่านเสีย

³⁰When the brothers The word for “brothers” here and where the context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him off to Tarsus.

³⁰เมื่อพี่น้องรู้อย่างนั้นจึงพาท่านไปยังเมืองซีซารียา แล้วส่งไปยังเมืองทาร์ซัส

³¹So the assemblies throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

³¹เหตุฉะนั้น คริสตจักรตลอดทั่วแคว้นยูเดีย กาลิลี และสะมาเรีย จึงมีความสงบสุขและเจริญขึ้น ประพฤติตนด้วยใจยำเกรงองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และได้รับความปลอบประโลมใจจากพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์ คริสตสมาชิกก็ยิ่งทวีมากขึ้น

³²It happened, as Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

³²ต่อมาเมื่อเปโตรเที่ยวไปตลอดทุกแห่งแล้ว ก็ลงมาหาพวกวิสุทธิชนซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองลิดดาด้วย

³³There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years, because he was paralyzed.

³³เปโตรพบชายคนหนึ่งชื่อไอเนอัสที่นั่น เขาเป็นอัมพาตอยู่กับที่นอนแปดปีมาแล้ว

³⁴Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.

³⁴เปโตรจึงกล่าวแก่เขาว่า "ไอเนอัสเอ๋ย พระเยซูคริสต์ทรงโปรดท่านให้หายโรค จงลุกขึ้นเก็บที่นอนของท่านเถิด" ในทันใดนั้นไอเนอัสได้ลุกขึ้น

³⁵All who lived at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

³⁵ฝ่ายคนทั้งปวงที่อยู่ในเมืองลิดดา และที่ราบชาโรนได้เห็นแล้วจึงกลับใจมาหาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า

³⁶Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which when translated, means Dorcas. “Dorcas” is Greek for “Gazelle.” This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.

³⁶ในเมืองยัฟฟามีหญิงคนหนึ่งเป็นศิษย์ชื่อทาบิธา ซึ่งแปลว่าโดรคัส หญิงคนนี้เคยกระทำการอันเป็นคุณประโยชน์และให้ทานมากมาย

³⁷It happened in those days that she fell sick, and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

³⁷ต่อมาระหว่างนั้นหญิงคนนี้ก็ป่วยลงจนถึงแก่ความตาย เขาจึงอาบน้ำศพวางไว้ในห้องชั้นบน

³⁸As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men Reading from NU, TR; MT omits “two men” to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

³⁸เมืองลิดดาอยู่ใกล้กับเมืองยัฟฟา พวกสาวกได้ยินว่าเปโตรอยู่ที่นั่น จึงใช้ชายสองคนไปหาท่าน เชิญท่านมาหาเขาโดยเร็ว

³⁹Peter got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper room. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

³⁹ฝ่ายเปโตรจึงลุกขึ้นไปกับเขา เมื่อถึงแล้วเขาพาท่านขึ้นไปในห้องชั้นบน และบรรดาหญิงม่ายได้ยืนอยู่กับท่านพากันร้องไห้และชี้ให้ท่านดูเสื้อคลุมกับเสื้อผ้าต่างๆซึ่งโดรคัสทำเมื่อยังมีชีวิตอยู่

⁴⁰Peter put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

⁴⁰ฝ่ายเปโตรให้คนทั้งปวงออกไปข้างนอก และได้คุกเข่าลงอธิษฐาน แล้วหันมายังศพนั้นกล่าวว่า "ทาบิธาเอ๋ย จงลุกขึ้น" ทาบิธาก็ลืมตา เมื่อเห็นเปโตรจึงลุกขึ้นนั่ง

⁴¹He gave her his hand, and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

⁴¹ฝ่ายเปโตรยื่นมือออกพยุงเธอขึ้น จึงเรียกวิสุทธิชนทั้งหลายกับพวกแม่ม่ายเข้ามา แล้วมอบหญิงที่เป็นขึ้นนั้นให้กับเขาทั้งหลาย

⁴²And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

⁴²เหตุการณ์นั้นลือไปตลอดทั่วเมืองยัฟฟา คนเป็นอันมากมาเชื่อถือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า

⁴³It happened, that he stayed many days in Joppa with one Simon, a tanner.

⁴³ต่อมาฝ่ายเปโตรอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองยัฟฟาหลายวัน อยู่กับคนหนึ่งชื่อซีโมนเป็นช่างฟอกหนัง
