¹The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,

¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

²Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God—

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงกล่าวแก่เจ้าเมืองไทระว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะใจของเจ้าผยองขึ้นและเจ้าได้กล่าวว่า `ข้าเป็นพระเจ้า ข้านั่งอยู่ในที่นั่งแห่งพระเจ้าในท้องทะเล' แต่เจ้าเป็นเพียงมนุษย์ มิใช่พระเจ้า แม้เจ้าจะยึดถือใจของเจ้าว่าเป็นใจของพระเจ้า

³behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from you;

³ดูเถิด เจ้าฉลาดกว่าดาเนียลจริง ไม่มีความลับอันใดที่ซ่อนให้พ้นเจ้าได้

⁴by your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures;

⁴เจ้าหาทรัพย์สมบัติมาสำหรับตนโดยสติปัญญาและความเข้าใจของเจ้า และได้รวบรวมทองคำและเงินมาไว้ในคลังของเจ้า

⁵by your great wisdom and by your traffic you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—

⁵ด้วยสติปัญญายิ่งใหญ่ในการค้าของเจ้า เจ้าได้ทวีทรัพย์สมบัติของเจ้าขึ้น และจิตใจของเจ้าก็ผยองขึ้นในทรัพย์สมบัติของเจ้า

⁶therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,

⁶เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะเจ้ายึดถือใจของเจ้าว่าเป็นใจของพระเจ้า

⁷therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.

⁷เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะนำคนต่างด้าวมาสู้เจ้า เป็นชนชาติที่ทารุณในบรรดาประชาชาติ เขาทั้งหลายจะชักดาบออกต่อสู้กับความงามแห่งสติปัญญาของเจ้า และเขาจะกระทำให้ความฉลาดปราดเปรื่องของเจ้าเป็นมลทิน

⁸They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the death of those who are slain, in the heart of the seas.

⁸เขาทั้งหลายจะดันเจ้าลงไปที่ในปากแดนคนตาย และเจ้าจะตายอย่างคนที่ถูกฆ่าในท้องทะเล

⁹Will you yet say before him who kills you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.

⁹เจ้ายังจะกล่าวอีกหรือ ว่า `ข้าเป็นพระเจ้า' ต่อหน้าคนที่ฆ่าเจ้า ถึงเจ้าเป็นเพียงมนุษย์ มิใช่พระเจ้า อยู่ในมือของคนที่ฆ่าเจ้า

¹⁰You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁰เจ้าจะตายอย่างคนที่มิได้เข้าสุหนัตตาย โดยมือของคนต่างด้าว เพราะเราได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าได้ตรัส"

¹¹Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

¹²Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

¹²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเปล่งเสียงบทคร่ำครวญเพื่อกษัตริย์เมืองไทระ และจงกล่าวแก่ท่านว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เจ้าเป็นตราแห่งความสมบูรณ์แบบ เต็มด้วยสติปัญญา และมีความงามอย่างพร้อมสรรพ

¹³You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire or, lapis lazuli , turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. In the day that you were created they were prepared.

¹³เจ้าเคยอยู่ในเอเดน พระอุทยานของพระเจ้า เพชรพลอยทุกอย่างเป็นเสื้อของเจ้า คือทับทิม บุษราคัม เพชร พลอยเขียว พลอยสีน้ำข้าว และหยก ไพทูรย์ มรกต พลอยสีแดงเข้มและทองคำ ความเชี่ยวชาญแห่งรำมะนาและปี่ของเจ้าได้จัดเตรียมไว้ในวันที่สร้างเจ้าขึ้นมา

¹⁴You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, so that you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

¹⁴เจ้าเป็นเครูบผู้พิทักษ์ที่ได้เจิมตั้งไว้ เราได้ตั้งเจ้าไว้ เจ้าเคยอยู่บนภูเขาบริสุทธิ์แห่งพระเจ้า และเจ้าเคยเดินอยู่ท่ามกลางศิลาเพลิง

¹⁵You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.

¹⁵เจ้าก็ปราศจากตำหนิในวิธีการทั้งหลายของเจ้า ตั้งแต่วันที่เจ้าได้ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาจนพบความชั่วช้าในตัวเจ้า

¹⁶By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

¹⁶ในความอุดมสมบูรณ์แห่งการค้าของเจ้านั้น เจ้าก็เต็มด้วยการทารุณ เจ้ากระทำบาป ดังนั้น เครูบผู้พิทักษ์เอ๋ย เราจะขับเจ้าออกไปจากภูเขาแห่งพระเจ้าดุจสิ่งมลทิน และเราจะกำจัดเจ้าเสียจากท่ามกลางศิลาเพลิง

¹⁷Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.

¹⁷จิตใจของเจ้าผยองขึ้นเพราะความงามของเจ้า เจ้ากระทำให้สติปัญญาของเจ้าเสื่อมทรามลง เพราะเห็นแก่ความงามของเจ้า เราจะเหวี่ยงเจ้าลงที่ดิน เราจะตีแผ่เจ้าต่อหน้ากษัตริย์ทั้งหลาย เพื่อตาของท่านทั้งหลายเหล่านั้นจะเพลินอยู่ที่เจ้า

¹⁸By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.

¹⁸เจ้ากระทำให้สถานบริสุทธิ์ของเจ้าเป็นมลทิน โดยความชั่วช้าเป็นอันมากของเจ้า ในการค้าอันชั่วช้าของเจ้า เหตุฉะนั้นเราจะนำไฟออกมาจากท่ามกลางเจ้า ไฟจะเผาผลาญเจ้า เราจะกระทำให้เจ้าเป็นเถ้าถ่านไปบนแผ่นดินโลกท่ามกลางสายตาของคนทั้งปวงที่มองดูเจ้าอยู่

¹⁹All those who know you among the peoples shall be astonished at you: you have become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being.

¹⁹บรรดาผู้ที่รู้จักเจ้าท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งหลาย เขาจะตกตะลึงเพราะเจ้า เจ้าจะสิ้นสูญลงอย่างน่าครั่นคร้าม และจะไม่ดำรงอยู่อีกต่อไปเป็นนิตย์"

²⁰The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²⁰พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

²¹Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,

²¹"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงมุ่งหน้าต่อสู้ไซดอน และพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษเมืองนั้น

²²and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Sidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

²²และกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด ไซดอนเอ๋ย เราเป็นปฏิปักษ์กับเจ้า เราจะสำแดงสง่าราศีของเราท่ามกลางเจ้า และเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ เมื่อเราทำการพิพากษาลงโทษในเมืองนั้น และสำแดงความบริสุทธิ์ของเราในเมืองนั้น

²³For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, with the sword on her on every side; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

²³เพราะเราจะส่งโรคระบาดเข้ามาในเมืองนั้น และส่งโลหิตเข้ามาในถนนของเมืองนั้น คนที่ถูกบาดเจ็บจะล้มลงท่ามกลางเมืองนั้น ล้มลงด้วยดาบที่อยู่รอบเมืองนั้นทุกด้าน แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

²⁴There shall be no more a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them, that scorned them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.

²⁴และส่วนวงศ์วานอิสราเอลนั้น จะไม่มีหนามย่อยที่ทิ่มแทง หรือมีหนามใหญ่มายอกอีก ท่ามกลางคนทั้งปวงซึ่งได้เคยกระทำแก่เขาด้วยความดูหมิ่น แล้วเขาจะทราบว่าเราคือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า

²⁵Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.

²⁵องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เมื่อเราจะรวบรวมวงศ์วานอิสราเอลจากชนชาติทั้งหลาย ซึ่งเขาได้กระจัดกระจายไปอยู่ท่ามกลางนั้น และเมื่อเราจะสำแดงความบริสุทธิ์ของเราท่ามกลางเขาท่ามกลางสายตาของประชาชาติทั้งหลายแล้ว เขาทั้งหลายจะได้อาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินของเขาเอง ซึ่งเราได้มอบให้แก่ยาโคบผู้รับใช้ของเรา

²⁶They shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those who do them despite all around them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh their God.

²⁶และเขาทั้งหลายจะอาศัยอยู่ในที่นั้นอย่างปลอดภัย เออ เขาจะสร้างบ้านเรือนและปลูกสวนองุ่น เมื่อเรากระทำการพิพากษาลงโทษคนทั้งหลายที่อยู่รอบเขา ผู้ได้กระทำต่อเขาด้วยความดูหมิ่นนั้น เขาทั้งหลายจะอาศัยอยู่ด้วยความมั่นใจ แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขาทั้งหลาย"
