¹You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of Yahweh.

¹"เจ้า บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์ต่อภูเขาทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอลว่า ภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์

²Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because the enemy has said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;

²องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะศัตรูกล่าวขวัญถึงเจ้าว่า `อ้าฮา แม้แต่ที่สูงโบราณเหล่านั้นได้ตกเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของเราแล้ว'

³therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;

³เพราะฉะนั้นจงพยากรณ์และกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะว่าเขากระทำให้เจ้ารกร้าง และกลืนเจ้าเสียทุกด้านเพื่อเจ้าจะได้ตกเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของชนชาติที่เหลืออยู่นั้น และริมฝีปากของพวกช่างพูดก็เอาเรื่องของเจ้าไปนินทา เป็นที่เสื่อมเสียชื่อเสียงในหมู่ประชาชน

⁴therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Yahweh: Thus says the Lord Yahweh to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;

⁴ภูเขาทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย เพราะฉะนั้นจงฟังพระวจนะขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แก่ภูเขาและเนินเขา แม่น้ำและหุบเขา ที่ที่ถูกทิ้งไว้เสียเปล่าและรกร้าง และหัวเมืองที่ถูกละทิ้ง ซึ่งได้กลายเป็นเหยื่อและเป็นที่เย้ยหยันแก่ประชาชาติที่เหลืออยู่รอบๆนั้น

⁵therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.

⁵เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ด้วยความหวงแหนอย่างเดือดดาลของเรา เราพูดกล่าวโทษประชาชาติที่เหลืออยู่ และแก่เอโดมทั้งสิ้นผู้ที่มอบแผ่นดินของเราให้แก่ตนเองให้เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ ด้วยความร่าเริงอย่างเต็มใจ และใจประมาทหมิ่นอย่างที่สุด เพื่อเขาจะได้ไล่คนแผ่นดินนั้นออกไป เพื่อจะได้ปล้นเอาไปเสีย

⁶Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations:

⁶เพราะฉะนั้นจงกล่าวคำพยากรณ์เกี่ยวกับแผ่นดินอิสราเอล และจงกล่าวแก่ภูเขาและเนินเขา แก่ห้วยและหุบเขาว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราพูดด้วยความหวงแหนและความพิโรธของเรา เพราะเจ้าได้ทนรับความอับอายขายหน้าจากประชาชาติ

⁷therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: I have sworn, saying , Surely the nations that are around you, they shall bear their shame.

⁷เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจึงตรัสว่า เราปฏิญาณว่า ประชาชาติที่อยู่รอบเจ้านั้นจะทนรับความอับอายขายหน้า

⁸But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.

⁸ภูเขาทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอลเอ๋ย แต่เจ้าจะแตกกิ่งของเจ้าออกมา และออกผลให้แก่อิสราเอลประชาชนของเรา เพราะไม่ช้าเขาจะได้กลับมา

⁹For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn into you, and you shall be tilled and sown;

⁹เพราะ ดูเถิด เราอยู่ฝ่ายเจ้า เราจะหันมาหาเจ้า และเจ้าจะถูกไถและถูกหว่าน

¹⁰and I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built;

¹⁰และเราจะทวีคนให้แก่เจ้า คือบรรดาวงศ์วานอิสราเอลทั่วหมด หัวเมืองจะมีคนมาอาศัยอยู่ และสถานที่ร้างเปล่าจะถูกสร้างขึ้นใหม่

¹¹and I will multiply on you man and animal; and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your former estate, and will do better to you than at your beginnings: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

¹¹เราจะทวีทั้งคนและสัตว์ให้แก่เจ้า จะเพิ่มขึ้นและมีลูกดก และเราจะกระทำให้เจ้ามีคนอาศัยอยู่อย่างในกาลก่อน และจะเป็นประโยชน์แก่เจ้ามากกว่าแต่ก่อน แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

¹²Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children.

¹²เออ เราจะให้คนดำเนินบนเจ้า คืออิสราเอลประชาชนของเราด้วย และเขาทั้งหลายจะได้เจ้าเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ และเจ้าจะเป็นมรดกของเขา และเจ้าจะไม่เอาลูกของเขาไปอีก

¹³Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because they say to you, You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;

¹³องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะคนกล่าวแก่เจ้าว่า `เจ้ากินคนและเจ้าได้เอาลูกของประชาชาติของเจ้าไป'

¹⁴therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nation any more, says the Lord Yahweh;

¹⁴องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า เพราะฉะนั้นเจ้าจะไม่กินคน และจะไม่เอาลูกของเจ้าจากประชาชาติของเจ้าไปอีกเลย

¹⁵neither will I let you hear any more the shame of the nations, neither shall you bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shall you cause your nation to stumble any more, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵เราจะไม่ให้เจ้าได้ยินคำประมาทหมิ่นของประชาชาติต่างๆอีก และเจ้าไม่ต้องทนรับความอับอายขายหน้าของชนชาติทั้งหลายอีกเลย และไม่ต้องกระทำให้ประชาชาติของเจ้าสะดุดอีกเลย องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"

¹⁶Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁶พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

¹⁷Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

¹⁷"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เมื่อวงศ์วานอิสราเอลได้มาอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินของตน เขากระทำให้แผ่นดินเป็นมลทินด้วยวิถีและการกระทำของเขา ความประพฤติของเขาที่มีต่อหน้าเราก็เหมือนมลทินอันเกิดจากระดู

¹⁸Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols;

¹⁸เพราะฉะนั้นเราจึงระบายความกริ้วของเราออกเหนือเขาด้วยเรื่องโลหิตซึ่งเขาได้กระทำให้ตกบนแผ่นดิน ด้วยเรื่องรูปเคารพซึ่งเขากระทำให้แผ่นดินนั้นเป็นมลทิน

¹⁹and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

¹⁹เราจึงให้เขากระจัดกระจายไปท่ามกลางประชาชาติ และเขาถูกกระจายไปตามประเทศต่างๆ เราพิพากษาเขาตามวิถีและการกระทำของเขา

²⁰When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Yahweh, and are gone forth out of his land.

²⁰แต่เมื่อเขามายังบรรดาประชาชาติ เขาจะมาที่ไหนก็ตาม เขาได้ลบหลู่นามบริสุทธิ์ของเรา ซึ่งคนกล่าวขวัญถึงเขาว่า `คนเหล่านี้เป็นประชาชนของพระเยโฮวาห์ ถึงกระนั้นเขายังต้องออกไปจากแผ่นดินของพระองค์'

²¹But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, where they went.

²¹แต่เรายังสงสารนามบริสุทธิ์ของเรา ซึ่งวงศ์วานอิสราเอลได้ลบหลู่ท่ามกลางประชาชาติซึ่งเขาตกไปอยู่นั้น

²²Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, where you went.

²²เพราะฉะนั้นจงกล่าวแก่วงศ์วานอิสราเอล องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วงศ์วานอิสราเอลเอ๋ย เรากำลังจะกระทำอยู่แล้ว ไม่ใช่เพื่อเห็นแก่เจ้า แต่เพราะเห็นแก่นามบริสุทธิ์ของเรา ซึ่งเจ้าได้ลบหลู่ท่ามกลางประชาชาติซึ่งเจ้าเข้าไปอยู่นั้น

²³I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am Yahweh, says the Lord Yahweh, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

²³และเราจะชำระให้นามที่ยิ่งใหญ่ของเราบริสุทธิ์ ซึ่งเป็นนามที่ถูกลบหลู่ท่ามกลางประชาชาติ และซึ่งเจ้าได้ลบหลู่ท่ามกลางเขา และประชาชาติจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ เมื่อเราสำแดงความบริสุทธิ์ของเราท่ามกลางเจ้าต่อหน้าต่อตาเขาทั้งหลาย

²⁴For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

²⁴เพราะว่าเราจะเอาเจ้าออกมาจากท่ามกลางประชาชาติและรวบรวมเจ้ามาจากทุกประเทศ และจะนำเจ้าเข้ามาในแผ่นดินของเจ้าเอง

²⁵I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

²⁵เราจะเอาน้ำสะอาดพรมเจ้า และเจ้าจะสะอาดพ้นจากมลทินทั้งหลายของเจ้า และเราจะชำระเจ้าจากรูปเคารพทั้งหลายของเจ้า

²⁶I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

²⁶เราจะให้ใจใหม่แก่เจ้า และเราจะบรรจุจิตวิญญาณใหม่ไว้ในเจ้า เราจะนำใจหินออกไปเสียจากเนื้อของเจ้า และจะให้ใจเนื้อแก่เจ้า

²⁷I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.

²⁷และเราจะใส่วิญญาณของเราภายในเจ้า และกระทำให้เจ้าดำเนินตามกฎเกณฑ์ของเรา และเจ้าจะรักษาคำตัดสินของเราและกระทำตาม

²⁸You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

²⁸เจ้าจะอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินซึ่งเราให้แก่บรรพบุรุษของเจ้า และเจ้าจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา และเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของเจ้า

²⁹I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.

²⁹เราจะช่วยเจ้าให้พ้นมลทินทั้งหลายของเจ้า และเราจะเรียกข้าวมา และจะกระทำให้อุดมสมบูรณ์ และจะไม่ให้เจ้าเกิดการกันดารอาหารเลย

³⁰I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.

³⁰เราจะกระทำให้ผลของต้นไม้และไร่นาอุดมสมบูรณ์ เพื่อเจ้าจะไม่ต้องทนรับความอับอายขายหน้าเพราะการกันดารอาหารท่ามกลางประชาชาติอีกเลย

³¹Then you shall remember your evil ways, and your doings that were not good; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

³¹แล้วเจ้าจะระลึกถึงวิถีทางที่ชั่วของเจ้า และการกระทำที่ไม่ดีของเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะเกลียดตัวเจ้าในสายตาของเจ้าเอง เพราะความชั่วช้าของเจ้าและเพราะการกระทำอันน่าสะอิดสะเอียนของเจ้า

³²Nor for your sake do I this, says the Lord Yahweh, be it known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.

³²องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า ที่เรากระทำนั้นมิใช่เพราะเห็นแก่เจ้า ขอให้เจ้าทราบเสีย วงศ์วานอิสราเอลเอ๋ย จงอับอายและขายหน้าด้วยเรื่องทางของเจ้าเถิด

³³Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.

³³องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ในวันที่เราชำระเจ้าให้หมดจากความชั่วช้าทั้งสิ้นของเจ้านั้น เราจะกระทำให้เจ้าอาศัยอยู่ในบรรดาหัวเมือง และสถานที่ทิ้งร้างจะได้สร้างขึ้นใหม่

³⁴The land that was desolate shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.

³⁴แผ่นดินที่รกร้างจะได้รับการไถแทนที่จะเป็นที่รกร้างดังที่ปรากฏต่อสายตาของคนทั้งหลายที่ผ่านไปมา

³⁵They shall say, This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.

³⁵และเขาทั้งหลายจะกล่าวว่า `แผ่นดินนี้ที่เคยรกร้างกลายเป็นอย่างสวนเอเดน หัวเมืองที่ถูกทิ้งไว้เสียเปล่าและรกร้างและปรักหักพัง เดี๋ยวนี้ก็มีกำแพงล้อมรอบและมีคนอาศัย'

³⁶Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.

³⁶แล้วประชาชาติที่เหลืออยู่รอบๆ เจ้าจะทราบว่า เรา พระเยโฮวาห์ ได้สร้างที่ปรักหักพังเหล่านี้ขึ้นใหม่ และปลูกพืชในที่รกร้างนั้น เรา พระเยโฮวาห์ ได้ลั่นวาจาไว้แล้ว และเราจะกระทำเช่นนั้น

³⁷Thus says the Lord Yahweh: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.

³⁷องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะให้วงศ์วานอิสราเอลขอให้เรากระทำสิ่งนี้ให้ด้วย คือให้เพิ่มคนอย่างเพิ่มฝูงแพะแกะ

³⁸As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.

³⁸ฝูงแพะแกะอันบริสุทธิ์ และฝูงแพะแกะที่เยรูซาเล็มระหว่างเทศกาลตามกำหนดของเธอเป็นอย่างไร เมืองที่ถูกทิ้งร้างจะเต็มไปด้วยฝูงคนอย่างนั้น แล้วเขาจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"
