¹The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

¹พระหัตถ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์มาอยู่เหนือข้าพเจ้า และพระองค์ทรงนำข้าพเจ้าออกมาด้วยพระวิญญาณของพระเยโฮวาห์ และวางข้าพเจ้าไว้ที่กลางหว่างเขา มีกระดูกเต็มไปหมด

²He caused me to pass by them all around: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and behold, they were very dry.

²พระองค์ทรงพาข้าพเจ้าไปเที่ยวในหมู่กระดูกเหล่านั้น ดูเถิด มีกระดูกที่หว่างเขานั้นมากมายเหลือเกิน และดูเถิด เป็นกระดูกแห้งทีเดียว

³He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, Lord Yahweh, you know.

³และพระองค์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย กระดูกเหล่านี้จะมีชีวิตได้ไหม" และข้าพเจ้าทูลตอบว่า "องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าเจ้าข้า พระองค์ก็ทรงทราบอยู่แล้ว"

⁴Again he said to me, Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, you dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.

⁴พระองค์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า "จงพยากรณ์ต่อกระดูกเหล่านี้ และกล่าวแก่มันว่า กระดูกแห้งเอ๋ย จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์

⁵Thus says the Lord Yahweh to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

⁵องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แก่กระดูกเหล่านี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราจะกระทำให้ลมหายใจเข้าไปในเจ้า และเจ้าจะมีชีวิต

⁶I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

⁶เราจะวางเส้นเอ็นไว้บนเจ้าและจะกระทำให้เนื้อมีมาบนเจ้า และเอาหนังคลุมเจ้าและบรรจุลมหายใจในเจ้าและเจ้าจะมีชีวิต และเจ้าจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"

⁷So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

⁷ข้าพเจ้าก็พยากรณ์ดังที่ข้าพเจ้าได้รับบัญชา เมื่อข้าพเจ้าพยากรณ์อยู่นั้นก็มีเสียง และดูเถิด เป็นเสียงกรุกกริก กระดูกเหล่านั้นก็เข้ามาหากันตามที่ของมัน

⁸I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

⁸และเมื่อข้าพเจ้ามองดู ดูเถิด ก็เห็นมีเอ็นบนมัน และเนื้อก็มาที่กระดูก และหนังก็มาหุ้มกระดูกไว้ แต่ไม่มีลมหายใจในนั้น

⁹Then he said to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.

⁹แล้วพระองค์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "จงพยากรณ์แก่ลมหายใจ บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์เถิด จงกล่าวแก่ลมหายใจว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ลมหายใจเอ๋ย จงมาจากลมทั้งสี่มาหายใจเข้าไปในคนที่ถูกฆ่าเหล่านี้เพื่อให้เขามีชีวิต"

¹⁰So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

¹⁰ข้าพเจ้าก็พยากรณ์ดังที่ทรงบัญชาแก่ข้าพเจ้า และลมหายใจก็เข้ามาในกระดูกและกระดูกก็มีชีวิต แล้วก็ยืนขึ้น เป็นกองทัพใหญ่โตจริงๆ

¹¹Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.

¹¹แล้วพระองค์ตรัสกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย กระดูกเหล่านี้คือวงศ์วานอิสราเอลทั้งสิ้น ดูเถิด เขาทั้งหลายกล่าวว่า `กระดูกของเราแห้ง และความหวังของเราก็สิ้นไป เราได้ถูกตัดส่วนของเราออกเสีย'

¹²Therefore prophesy, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

¹²เพราะฉะนั้น จงพยากรณ์และกล่าวแก่เขาว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด โอ ประชาชนของเราเอ๋ย เราจะเปิดหลุมฝังศพของเจ้า และยกเจ้าออกมาจากหลุมฝังศพของเจ้า และจะนำเจ้ากลับมายังแผ่นดินอิสราเอล

¹³You shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.

¹³โอ ประชาชนของเราเอ๋ย เจ้าจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ ในเมื่อเราเปิดหลุมศพของเจ้า และยกเจ้าออกมาจากหลุมศพของเจ้า

¹⁴I will put my Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and you shall know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it, says Yahweh.

¹⁴และเราจะบรรจุวิญญาณของเราไว้ในเจ้า และเจ้าจะมีชีวิต และเราจะวางเจ้าไว้ในแผ่นดินของเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว และเราได้กระทำ พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ"

¹⁵The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,

¹⁵พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

¹⁶You, son of man, take one stick, and write on it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

¹⁶"เจ้า บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเอาไม้มาอันหนึ่งเขียนลงว่า `สำหรับยูดาห์ และสำหรับชนอิสราเอลที่สังคมกับยูดาห์' จงเอาไม้มาอีกอันหนึ่งเขียนลงว่า `สำหรับโยเซฟ ไม้ของเอฟราอิม และวงศ์วานอิสราเอลทั้งสิ้นที่สังคมกับโยเซฟ'

¹⁷and join them for you one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.

¹⁷เอาไม้ทั้งสองมารวมกันเข้าเป็นอันเดียว เพื่อเป็นไม้อันเดียวในมือของเจ้า

¹⁸When the children of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not show us what you mean by these?

¹⁸และเมื่อชนชาติของเจ้ากล่าวแก่เจ้าว่า `ท่านจะไม่สำแดงให้เราทราบหรือว่า ไม้นี้หมายความว่ากระไร'

¹⁹tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

¹⁹จงกล่าวแก่เขาว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราจะเอาไม้ของโยฌซฟ ซึ่งอยู่ในมือของเอฟราอิม และตระกูลอิสราเอลที่สังคมกับเขา และเราจะเอาไม้ของยูดาห์มารวมเข้าด้วย และกระทำให้เป็นไม้อันเดียวกัน เพื่อให้เป็นไม้อันเดียวในมือของเรา

²⁰The sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.

²⁰และไม้ซึ่งเจ้าเขียนไว้นั้นจะอยู่ในมือของเจ้าต่อหน้าต่อตาเขา

²¹Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

²¹แล้วจงกล่าวแก่เขาว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราจะนำคนอิสราเอลมาจากท่ามกลางประชาชาติ ซึ่งเขาได้เข้าไปอยู่ด้วยนั้น และจะรวบรวมเขามาจากทุกด้านและนำเขามายังแผ่นดินของเขาเอง

²²and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;

²²และเราจะกระทำให้เขาเป็นประชาชาติเดียวในแผ่นดินนั้นที่บนภูเขาทั้งหลายแห่งอิสราเอล และจะมีกษัตริย์แต่พระองค์เดียวปกครองอยู่เหนือเขาทั้งสิ้น เขาจะไม่เป็นสองประชาชาติอีกต่อไป และจะไม่แยกเป็นสองราชอาณาจักรอีกต่อไป

²³neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

²³เขาจะไม่กระทำตัวให้เป็นมลทินด้วยรูปเคารพและสิ่งที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียนของเขา หรือด้วยการละเมิดใดๆของเขาต่อไปอีก แต่เราจะช่วยเขาให้พ้นจากบรรดาที่อาศัยซึ่งเขากระทำบาปนั้น และจะชำระเขา และเขาจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา และเราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของเขา

²⁴My servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.

²⁴ดาวิดผู้รับใช้ของเราจะเป็นกษัตริย์เหนือเขาทั้งหลาย และเขาทุกคนจะมีผู้เลี้ยงผู้เดียว เขาทั้งหลายจะดำเนินตามคำตัดสินของเรา และรักษากฎเกณฑ์ของเรา และกระทำตาม

²⁵They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.

²⁵เขาทั้งหลายจะอาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินซึ่งบรรพบุรุษของเจ้าอาศัยอยู่ ซึ่งเราได้ให้แก่ยาโคบผู้รับใช้ของเรา ตัวเขาและลูกหลานของเขาจะอาศัยอยู่ที่นั่นเป็นนิตย์ และดาวิดผู้รับใช้ของเราจะเป็นเจ้าของเขาเป็นนิตย์

²⁶Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

²⁶เราจะกระทำพันธสัญญาสันติภาพกับเขา จะเป็นพันธสัญญานิรันดร์แก่เขา และเราจะตั้งเขาไว้และให้เขาทวีขึ้น และเราจะวางสถานบริสุทธิ์ของเราไว้ท่ามกลางเขาเป็นนิตย์

²⁷My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

²⁷พลับพลาของเราจะอยู่กับเขา เออ เราจะเป็นพระเจ้าของเขาและเขาจะเป็นประชาชนของเรา

²⁸The nations shall know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in their midst forevermore.

²⁸แล้วประชาชาติทั้งหลายจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์กระทำให้อิสราเอลเป็นสุทธิพิเศษชาติ ในเมื่อสถานบริสุทธิ์ของเราอยู่ท่ามกลางเขาเป็นนิตย์"
