1Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.
1ดูเถิด พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงทิ้งโลกให้ร้าง และทรงกระทำให้ร้างเปล่า และพระองค์จะทรงคว่ำแผ่นดินโลกและกระจายผู้อาศัยของมัน
2It will be as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor; as with the taker of interest, so with the giver of interest.
2และจะเป็นอย่างนั้นต่อปุโรหิต อย่างเป็นกับประชาชน ต่อนายของเขา อย่างเป็นกับทาส ต่อนายผู้หญิงของเขา อย่างเป็นกับสาวใช้ ต่อผู้ขาย อย่างเป็นกับผู้ซื้อ ต่อผู้ยืม อย่างเป็นกับผู้ให้ยืม ต่อผู้ให้ยืมโดยคิดดอกเบี้ย อย่างผู้ยืมโดยคิดดอกเบี้ย
3The earth will be utterly emptied and utterly laid waste; for Yahweh has spoken this word.
3แผ่นดินนั้นจะถูกทิ้งร้างอย่างสิ้นเชิง และถูกปล้นหมดสิ้น เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ตรัสพระวจนะนี้แล้ว
4The earth mourns and fades away. The world languishes and fades away. The lofty people of the earth languish.
4โลกก็ไว้ทุกข์และเหี่ยวแห้งไป พิภพก็อ่อนระทวยและเหี่ยวแห้ง คนสูงศักดิ์ของโลกก็อ่อนระทวยไป
5The earth also is polluted under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, and broken the everlasting covenant.
5โลกนี้มีราคีเพราะผู้อาศัยในนั้น เพราะเขาทั้งหลายละเมิดต่อพระราชบัญญัติ ได้ฝ่าฝืนกฎ ได้หักพันธสัญญานิรันดร์นั้น
6Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
6เพราะฉะนั้นคำสาปก็กลืนโลก และผู้ที่อาศัยในนั้นก็โดดเดี่ยว เพราะฉะนั้นผู้อาศัยในแผ่นดินโลกจึงถูกเผาผลาญ มีคนเหลือน้อย
7The new wine mourns. The vine languishes. All the merry-hearted sigh.
7น้ำองุ่นใหม่ก็ไว้ทุกข์ เถาองุ่นก็อ่อนระทวย จิตใจที่รื่นเริงทั้งปวงก็ถอนหายใจ
8The mirth of tambourines ceases. The sound of those who rejoice ends. The joy of the harp ceases.
8เสียงสนุกสนานของรำมะนาก็เงียบ เสียงของผู้เบิกบานก็หยุดเสีย เสียงสนุกสนานของพิณเขาคู่ก็เงียบ
9They will not drink wine with a song. Strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it.
9เขาจะไม่ดื่มเหล้าองุ่นพร้อมกับการร้องเพลงอีก เมรัยก็จะเป็นของขมแก่ผู้ที่ดื่ม
10The confused city is broken down. Every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
10เมืองที่จลาจลแตกหักเสียแล้ว บ้านทุกหลังก็ปิดหมด ไม่ให้ใครเข้าไป
11There is a crying in the streets because of the wine. All joy is darkened. The mirth of the land is gone.
11มีเสียงร้องที่กลางถนนด้วยเรื่องเหล้าองุ่น ความชื่นบานทั้งสิ้นก็เยือกเย็นลงแล้ว ความยินดีของแผ่นดินก็หายสูญไป
12The city is left in desolation, and the gate is struck with destruction.
12มีการรกร้างว่างเปล่าทิ้งไว้ในเมือง ประตูเมืองก็ถูกทุบทำลายเสีย
13For it will be so in the midst of the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.
13เพราะจะเป็นเช่นนี้อยู่ท่ามกลางแผ่นดิน ท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งหลาย อย่างกับเมื่อต้นมะกอกเทศถูกเขย่า อย่างเมื่อการเก็บเล็มตามเถาองุ่นสิ้นลง
14These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.
14เขาทั้งหลายจะเปล่งเสียงของเขาขึ้น เขาจะร้องเพลงฉลองความโอ่อ่าตระการของพระเยโฮวาห์ เขาจะโห่ร้องจากทะเล
15Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!
15เพราะฉะนั้นในรุ่งอรุณจงถวายสง่าราศีแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ ในเกาะทั้งหลายแห่งทะเลจงถวายแด่พระนามแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล
16From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! But I said, “I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!” The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.
16ตั้งแต่ที่สุดปลายโลกเราได้ยินเสียงเพลงสรรเสริญ ว่าสง่าราศีจงมีแก่ผู้ชอบธรรม แต่ข้าพเจ้าว่า "ข้าพเจ้าก็ผ่ายผอม ข้าพเจ้าก็ผ่ายผอม วิบัติแก่ข้าพเจ้า เพราะคนทรยศประพฤติอย่างทรยศยิ่ง เอย คนทรยศประพฤติอย่างทรยศยิ่ง"
17Fear, the pit, and the snare, are on you who inhabitant the earth.
17โอ ชาวแผ่นดินโลกเอ๋ย ความสยดสยองและหลุมพรางและกับก็มาทันเจ้าแล้ว
18It will happen that he who flees from the noise of the fear will fall into the pit; and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit will be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.
18ต่อมาผู้ใดหนีเมื่อได้ยินเสียงความสยดสยองนั้น จะตกในหลุมพราง และผู้ที่ปีนออกมาจากหลุมพรางก็จะติดกับ เพราะว่าหน้าต่างของฟ้าสวรรค์ก็ถูกเปิด และรากฐานของแผ่นดินโลกก็หวั่นไหว
19The earth is utterly broken. The earth is torn apart. The earth is shaken violently.
19โลกแตกสลายสิ้นเชิงแล้ว โลกแตกเป็นเสี่ยงๆ โลกถูกเขย่าอย่างรุนแรง
20The earth will stagger like a drunken man, and will sway back and forth like a hammock. Its disobedience will be heavy on it, and it will fall and not rise again.
20โลกก็จะซวนเซไปอย่างคนเมา มันจะแกว่งไปอย่างเพิง การละเมิดของโลกจะหนักอยู่บนมัน และมันจะล้มและจะไม่ลุกอีก
21It shall happen in that day that Yahweh will punish the army of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth on the earth.
21ต่อมาในวันนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงลงโทษบริวารของฟ้าสวรรค์ในฟ้าสวรรค์ และบรรดากษัตริย์ของแผ่นดินโลกในแผ่นดินโลก
22They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited.
22เขาทั้งหลายจะถูกรวบรวมไว้ด้วยกัน ดั่งนักโทษในคุกมืด เขาทั้งหลายจะถูกกักขังไว้ในคุก และต่อมาหลายวันเขาจึงจะถูกลงโทษ
23Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for Yahweh of Armies will reign on Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem; and before his elders will be glory.
23แล้วดวงจันทร์จะอดสู และดวงอาทิตย์จะอับอาย เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาจะทรงราชย์บนภูเขาศิโยนและในเยรูซาเล็ม และสง่าราศีจะปรากฏต่อหน้าพวกผู้ใหญ่ของพระองค์
