2Be still, you inhabitants of the coast, you whom the merchants of Sidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
2โอ ชาวเกาะเอ๋ย จงนิ่งเสีย เจ้าซึ่งพ่อค้าแห่งเมืองไซดอนที่ผู้ผ่านข้ามทะเลไป ได้ทำให้เจ้าเต็มบริบูรณ์
3On great waters, the seed of the Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue. She was the market of nations.
3และข้ามน้ำมากหลายรายได้ของเมืองนั้นคือข้าวเมืองชิโหร์ เป็นผลเกี่ยวเก็บของแม่น้ำ เมืองนั้นเป็นพ่อค้าของบรรดาประชาชาติ

4โอ ไซดอนเอ๋ย จงอับอายเถิด เพราะทะเลได้พูดแล้ว ที่กำบังเข้มแข็งของทะเลพูดว่า "ข้ามิได้ปวดครรภ์ หรือข้ามิได้คลอดบุตร ข้ามิได้เลี้ยงดูคนหนุ่ม หรือบำรุงเลี้ยงหญิงพรหมจารี"
5When the report comes to Egypt, they will be in anguish at the report of Tyre.

6จงข้ามไปยังทารชิชเถิด โอ ชาวเกาะเอ๋ย จงคร่ำครวญ
7Is this your joyous city, whose antiquity is of ancient days, whose feet carried her far away to travel?
7นี่เป็นเมืองที่สนุกสนานของเจ้าทั้งหลายหรือ ซึ่งกำเนิดมาแต่กาลโบราณ ซึ่งเท้าได้พามันไปตั้งอยู่ไกล
8Who has planned this against Tyre, the giver of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers are the honorable of the earth?
8ผู้ใดได้มุ่งหมายไว้เช่นนี้ต่อเมืองไทระ คือเมืองที่ให้มงกุฎ ซึ่งบรรดาพ่อค้าของมันเป็นเจ้านาย ซึ่งพวกพาณิชของมันเป็นคนมีเกียรติของโลก
9Yahweh of Armies has planned it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
9พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาทรงมุ่งหมายไว้เพื่อจะหลู่ความเย่อหยิ่งของสง่าราศีทั้งสิ้น เพื่อหลู่เกียรติของผู้มีเกียรติทั้งสิ้นในแผ่นดินโลก
10Pass through your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish. There is no restraint any more.
10โอ ธิดาแห่งทารชิชเอ๋ย จงผ่านแผ่นดินของเจ้าข้ามไปเหมือนแม่น้ำ มันไม่มีกำลังอีกเลย
11He has stretched out his hand over the sea. He has shaken the kingdoms. Yahweh has ordered the destruction of Canaan’s strongholds.
11พระองค์ทรงเหยียดพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์เหนือทะเล พระองค์ทรงบันดาลให้บรรดาราชอาณาจักรสั่นสะเทือน พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงบัญชาเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเมืองแห่งพาณิชย์ เพื่อจะทำลายที่กำบังเข้มแข็งของมันเสีย
12He said, “You shall rejoice no more, you oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon. Arise, pass over to Kittim. Even there you will have no rest.”
12และพระองค์ตรัสว่า "โอ ธิดาพรหมจารีผู้ถูกบีบบังคับแห่งไซดอนเอ๋ย เจ้าจะไม่ลิงโลดต่อไปอีก จงลุกขึ้นข้ามไปคิทธิมเถิด แม้ที่นั่นเจ้าก็จะไม่มีความสงบ"
13Behold, the land of the Chaldeans. This people was not. The Assyrians founded it for those who dwell in the wilderness. They set up their towers. They overthrew its palaces. They made it a ruin.

15ต่อมาในวันนั้น เขาจะลืมเมืองไทระเจ็ดสิบปี อย่างกับอายุของกษัตริย์องค์เดียว พอสิ้นเจ็ดสิบปีไทระจะร้องเพลงอย่างหญิงแพศยาว่า
16Take a harp; go about the city, you prostitute that has been forgotten. Make sweet melody. Sing many songs, that you may be remembered.
16"โอ หญิงแพศยาที่เขาลืมแล้วเอ๋ย จงหยิบพิณเขาคู่เดินไปทั่วเมือง จงบรรเลงเพลงไพเราะ ร้องเพลงหลายๆบท เพื่อเขาจะระลึกเจ้าได้"
17It will happen after the end of seventy years that Yahweh will visit Tyre, and she shall return to her wages, and will play the prostitute with all the kingdoms of the world on the surface of the earth.
17ต่อมาเมื่อสิ้นเจ็ดสิบปี พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงเยี่ยมเยียนเมืองไทระ และเมืองนั้นจะกลับไปรับจ้างใหม่ และจะเล่นชู้กับบรรดาราชอาณาจักรทั้งสิ้นบนพื้นโลก
18Her merchandise and her wages will be holiness to Yahweh. It will not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise will be for those who dwell before Yahweh, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
18สินค้าของมันและสินจ้างของมันจะเป็นของบริสุทธิ์ถวายแด่พระเยโฮวาห์ จะไม่สะสมไว้หรือเก็บนิ่งไว้ แต่สินค้าของมันจะอำนวยอาหารอุดมและเสื้อผ้างามแก่บรรดาผู้ที่อยู่ต่อพระพักตร์พระเยโฮวาห์
