¹Woe to Ariel! Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add year to year; let the feasts come around;

¹วิบัติแก่อารีเอล อารีเอล นครซึ่งดาวิดทรงตั้งค่าย จงเพิ่มปีเข้ากับปี จงให้มีเทศกาลถวายเครื่องบูชาตามรอบของมัน

²then I will distress Ariel, and there will be mourning and lamentation. She shall be to me as an altar hearth or, Ariel .

²เรายังจะให้อารีเอลทุกข์ใจ จะมีการร้องคร่ำครวญและร้องทุกข์ และเมืองนั้นจะเป็นเหมือนอารีเอลแก่เรา

³I will encamp against you all around you, and will lay siege against you with posted troops. I will raise siege works against you.

³และเราจะตั้งค่ายอยู่รอบเจ้า และเราจะล้อมเจ้ากับบรรดาหอรบ และเราจะยกเชิงเทินขึ้นสู้เจ้า

⁴You will be brought down, and will speak out of the ground. Your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will be as of one who has a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech will whisper out of the dust.

⁴และเจ้าจะถูกเหยียบลง เจ้าจะพูดมาจากที่ลึกของแผ่นดินโลก คำของเจ้าจะมาจากที่ต่ำลงในผงคลี เสียงของเจ้าจะมาจากพื้นดินเหมือนเสียงผี และคำพูดของเจ้าจะกระซิบออกมาจากผงคลี

⁵But the multitude of your foes will be like fine dust, and the multitude of the ruthless ones like chaff that blows away. Yes, it will be in an instant, suddenly.

⁵แต่มวลชาวต่างประเทศของเจ้าจะเหมือนผงคลีละเอียด และผู้น่ากลัวทั้งมวลจะเหมือนแกลบที่ฟุ้งหายไป เออ ชั่วประเดี๋ยวเดียวและในทันทีทันใด

⁶She will be visited by Yahweh of Armies with thunder, with earthquake, with great noise, with whirlwind and storm, and with the flame of a devouring fire.

⁶พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาจะทรงเยี่ยมเยียนเจ้าด้วยฟ้าร้องและด้วยแผ่นดินไหว และด้วยเสียงกัมปนาท ด้วยลมบ้าหมูและพายุ ด้วยเปลวแห่งเพลิงเผาผลาญ

⁷The multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all who fight against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, will be like a dream, a vision of the night.

⁷และมวลประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นที่ต่อสู้กับอารีเอล ทั้งหมดที่ต่อสู้กับเขาและกับที่กำบังเข้มแข็งของเขาและทำให้เขาทุกข์ใจ จะเป็นเหมือนความฝันคือนิมิตในกลางคืน

⁸It will be like when a hungry man dreams, and behold, he eats; but he awakes, and his hunger isn’t satisfied; or like when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he drinks; but he awakes, and behold, he is faint, and he is still thirsty. The multitude of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion will be like that.

⁸อย่างเมื่อคนหิวฝันว่า ดูเถิด เขากำลังกินอยู่ และตื่นขึ้นก็ยังหิวอยู่ จิตใจเขาไม่อิ่ม หรือเหมือนเมื่อคนกระหายฝันว่า ดูเถิด เขากำลังดื่มอยู่ แล้วตื่นขึ้นมา ดูเถิด อ่อนเปลี้ย จิตใจของเขายังแห้งผาก มวลประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นที่ต่อสู้กับภูเขาศิโยนก็จะเป็นเช่นนั้น

⁹Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

⁹จงรั้งรอและงงงวย จงร้องเรียกและร้องไห้ เขามึนเมา แต่ไม่ใช่ด้วยเหล้าองุ่น เขาโซเซ แต่ไม่ใช่ด้วยเมรัย

¹⁰For Yahweh has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets; and he has covered your heads, the seers.

¹⁰เพราะว่าพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเทวิญญาณแห่งความหลับสนิทลงเหนือเจ้า และปิดตาของเจ้า และพระองค์ทรงคลุมตาของพวกผู้พยากรณ์ พวกเจ้านายและพวกผู้ทำนายของเจ้า

¹¹All vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is educated, saying, “Read this, please”; and he says, “I can’t, for it is sealed:”

¹¹และแก่ท่านทั้งหลาย นิมิตนี้ทั้งสิ้นได้กลายเป็นเหมือนถ้อยคำในหนังสือที่ประทับตรา เมื่อคนให้แก่คนหนึ่งที่อ่านได้ กล่าวว่า "อ่านนี่ซี" เขาว่า "ข้าอ่านไม่ได้เพราะมีตราประทับ"

¹²and the book is delivered to one who is not educated, saying, “Read this, please”; and he says, “I can’t read.”

¹²และเมื่อเขาให้หนังสือแก่คนหนึ่งที่อ่านไม่ได้ กล่าวว่า "อ่านนี่ซี" เขาว่า "ข้าไม่รู้หนังสือ"

¹³The Lord said, “Because this people draws near with their mouth and with their lips to honor me, but they have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which has been taught;

¹³และองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า "เพราะชนชาตินี้เข้ามาใกล้เราด้วยปากของเขา และให้เกียรติเราด้วยริมฝีปากของเขา แต่เขาให้จิตใจของเขาห่างไกลจากเรา เขายำเกรงเราเพียงแต่เหมือนเป็นข้อบังคับของมนุษย์ที่สอนกันมา

¹⁴therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be hidden.”

¹⁴เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะกระทำสิ่งมหัศจรรย์กับชนชาตินี้ อีกประหลาดและอัศจรรย์ สติปัญญาของคนมีปัญญาของเขาจะพินาศไป และความเข้าใจของคนที่เข้าใจจะถูกปิดบังไว้"

¹⁵Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from Yahweh, and whose works are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”

¹⁵วิบัติแก่ผู้ที่พยายามซ่อนแผนงานของเขาไว้ลึกจากพระเยโฮวาห์ ซึ่งการกระทำของเขาอยู่ในความมืด ผู้ซึ่งกล่าวว่า "ใครเห็นเรา ใครจำเราได้"

¹⁶You turn things upside down! Should the potter be thought to be like clay; that the thing made should say about him who made it, “He didn’t make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding?”

¹⁶แน่นอนความวิปริตของเจ้าจะถือว่าช่างปั้นเท่ากับดินเหนียว และสิ่งที่ถูกสร้างจะพูดเรื่องผู้สร้างมันว่า "เขาไม่ได้สร้างข้า" หรือสิ่งที่ถูกปั้นขึ้นจะพูดเรื่องผู้ปั้นมันว่า "เขาไม่มีความเข้าใจอะไรเลย" อย่างนี้หรือ

¹⁷Isn’t it yet a very little while, and Lebanon will be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field will be regarded as a forest?

¹⁷ไม่ใช่อีกนิดหน่อยเท่านั้นหรือ ที่เลบานอนจะถูกเปลี่ยนให้เป็นสวนผลไม้ และสวนผลไม้จะถือว่าเป็นป่า

¹⁸In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.

¹⁸ในวันนั้นคนหูหนวกจะได้ยินถ้อยคำของหนังสือ และตาของคนตาบอดจะเห็นออกมาจากความคลุ้มและความมืดของเขา

¹⁹The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹คนใจอ่อนสุภาพจะได้ความชื่นบานสดใสในพระเยโฮวาห์เพิ่มขึ้น และคนยากจนท่ามกลางมนุษย์จะลิงโลดในองค์บริสุทธิ์แห่งอิสราเอล

²⁰For the ruthless is brought to nothing, and the scoffer ceases, and all those who are alert to do evil are cut off—

²⁰เพราะว่าผู้น่ากลัวจะสูญไป และผู้เยาะเย้ยจะถูกผลาญไป และคนทั้งปวงที่เฝ้ารอคอยที่จะกระทำการอันชั่วช้าจะถูกตัดขาด

²¹who cause a person to be indicted by a word, and lay a snare for the arbiter in the gate, and who deprive the innocent of justice with false testimony.

²¹คือผู้ที่ใส่ความคนอื่นด้วยถ้อยคำของเขา และวางบ่วงไว้ดักเขาผู้กล่าวคำขนาบที่ประตูเมือง และด้วยถ้อยคำที่ไม่เป็นแก่นสาร เขากีดกันคนชอบธรรมเสีย

²²Therefore thus says Yahweh, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no longer be ashamed, neither shall his face grow pale.

²²เพราะฉะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์ผู้ทรงไถ่อับราฮัม ตรัสดังนี้เกี่ยวกับวงศ์วานของยาโคบว่า "ยาโคบจะไม่ต้องอับอายอีก หน้าของเขาจะไม่ซีดลงอีกต่อไป

²³But when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they will sanctify my name. Yes, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

²³เพราะเมื่อเขาเห็นลูกหลานของเขาซึ่งเป็นผลงานแห่งมือของเราในหมู่พวกเขา เขาทั้งหลายจะถือว่านามของเราบริสุทธิ์ เขาทั้งหลายจะถือว่าองค์บริสุทธิ์ของยาโคบบริสุทธิ์ และจะกลัวเกรงพระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอล

²⁴They also who err in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will receive instruction.”

²⁴และบรรดาผู้ที่ผิดฝ่ายจิตใจจะมาถึงความเข้าใจ และบรรดาผู้ที่บ่นพึมพำจะยอมเรียนรู้หลักคำสอน"
