1Thus said Yahweh: Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
1พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงลงไปยังราชสำนักของกษัตริย์ยูดาห์ และกล่าวถ้อยคำเหล่านี้ที่นั่น
2Say, Hear the word of Yahweh, king of Judah, who sits on the throne of David, you, and your servants, and your people who enter in by these gates.
2ว่า "ข้าแต่กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งของดาวิด จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ ทั้งตัวท่าน ข้าราชการของท่าน และประชาชนของท่านผู้เข้ามาในประตูเมืองนี้
3Thus says Yahweh: Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence, to the foreigner, the fatherless, nor the widow; neither shed innocent blood in this place.
3พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงกระทำความยุติธรรมและความชอบธรรม จงช่วยผู้ที่ถูกปล้นให้พ้นมือของผู้ที่บีบบังคับ และอย่าได้กระทำความผิดหรือความทารุณแก่ชนต่างด้าว ลูกกำพร้าพ่อ และหญิงม่าย หรือหลั่งโลหิตที่ไร้ความผิดให้ถึงตายในสถานที่นี้
4For if you do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
4ถ้าท่านกระทำสิ่งนี้จริงๆแล้วจะมีกษัตริย์ผู้ประทับบนพระที่นั่งของดาวิดเข้ามาทางประตูของพระราชวังนี้ เสด็จมาโดยรถรบและม้า ทั้งตัวกษัตริย์ บรรดาข้าราชการและประชาชนของท่านนั้น
5But if you will not hear these words, I swear by myself, says Yahweh, that this house shall become a desolation.
5แต่ถ้าท่านไม่ฟังถ้อยคำเหล่านี้ พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า เราปฏิญาณต่อตัวของเราเองว่า ราชสำนักนี้จะเป็นที่รกร้าง"
6For thus says Yahweh concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.
6เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แก่ราชสำนักแห่งกษัตริย์ของยูดาห์ ว่า "เจ้าเป็นเหมือนกิเลอาดแก่เรา เป็นดังยอดภูเขาเลบานอน ถึงกระนั้น เราจะกระทำเจ้าให้เป็นถิ่นทุรกันดารแน่ เป็นเมืองที่ไม่มีคนอาศัย
7I will prepare destroyers against you, everyone with his weapons; and they shall cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
7เราจะเตรียมผู้ทำลายไว้ต่อสู้เจ้า ต่างก็มีอาวุธของตน และเขาทั้งหลายจะตัดต้นสนสีดาร์อย่างดีของเจ้าลง และโยนเข้าในไฟ
8Many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Why has Yahweh done thus to this great city?
8และประชาชาติเป็นอันมากจะผ่านเมืองนี้ไป และทุกคนจะพูดกับเพื่อนบ้านของตนว่า `ทำไมพระเยโฮวาห์จึงทรงกระทำเช่นนี้แก่เมืองใหญ่นี้'
9Then they shall answer, Because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh their God, and worshiped other gods, and served them.
9และเขาทั้งหลายจะตอบว่า `เพราะเขาทั้งหลายได้ละทิ้งพันธสัญญาของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเขา และนมัสการกับปรนนิบัติพระอื่น'"
10Don’t weep for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep bitterly for him who goes away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
10อย่าร้องไห้อาลัยแก่ผู้ที่ตายไป อย่าครวญคร่ำด้วยเขาเลย แต่จงร้องไห้ร่ำไรอาลัยผู้ที่ไปแล้ว เพราะเขาจะไม่ได้กลับมาเห็นบ้านเกิดเมืองนอนของเขาอีกเลย
11For thus says Yahweh touching Shallum the son of Josiah, king of Judah, who reigned instead of Josiah his father, and who went forth out of this place: He shall not return there any more.
11เพราะพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละเกี่ยวกับชัลลูม บุตรชายโยสิยาห์ กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ ผู้ซึ่งครองราชย์แทนโยสิยาห์ราชบิดา และผู้ที่ไปจากสถานที่นี้ "ท่านจะไม่ได้กลับมาที่นี่อีก
12But in the place where they have led him captive, there shall he die, and he shall see this land no more.
12ท่านจะสิ้นชีวิตในที่ซึ่งเขาจับท่านไปเป็นเชลย และท่านจะไม่เห็นแผ่นดินนี้อีกเลย"
13Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his rooms by injustice; who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and doesn’t give him his hire;
13"วิบัติแก่เขาผู้สร้างวังของตนด้วยความอธรรม และสร้างห้องชั้นบนไว้ด้วยความอยุติธรรม ผู้ที่ทำให้เพื่อนบ้านของเขาปรนนิบัติเขาโดยไม่ได้อะไรเลย และมิได้จ่ายค่าจ้างให้แก่เขา
14who says, I will build me a wide house and spacious rooms, and cuts him out windows; and it is ceiling with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
14ผู้กล่าวว่า `เราจะสร้างวังใหญ่อยู่เอง กับมีห้องชั้นบนกว้างขวาง และเจาะหน้าต่างให้ห้องนั้น และบุฝาผนังด้วยไม้สนสีดาร์และทาด้วยสีแดงเข้ม'
15Shall you reign, because you strive to excel in cedar? Didn’t your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? then it was well with him.
15เจ้าคิดว่าเจ้าจะครองราชสมบัติ เพราะเจ้าแข่งไม้สนสีดาร์กันหรือ ราชบิดาของเจ้ามิได้กินและดื่ม และกระทำความยุติธรรมและความเที่ยงธรรมดอกหรือ ฝ่ายราชบิดาก็อยู่เย็นเป็นสุข
16He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Wasn’t this to know me? says Yahweh.
16เขาพิพากษาคดีของคนจนและคนขัดสน เขาก็อยู่เย็นเป็นสุข ทำอย่างนี้เป็นการรู้จักเราหรือ" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ
17But your eyes and your heart are not but for your covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
17"แต่เจ้ามีตาและใจไว้เพื่อความโลภ เพื่อหลั่งโลหิตที่ไร้ความผิดให้ถึงตาย และเพื่อปฏิบัติการบีบบังคับและความทารุณ"
18Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! They shall not lament for him, saying Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
18เพราะฉะนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์จึงตรัสดังนี้เกี่ยวกับเยโฮยาคิม ราชบุตรของโยสิยาห์กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ ว่า "เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่โอดครวญอาลัยเขาว่า `อนิจจา พี่ชายเอ๋ย' หรือ `อนิจจา พี่สาวเอ๋ย' เขาทั้งหลายจะไม่โอดครวญอาลัยเขาว่า `อนิจจา พระองค์ท่าน' หรือ `อนิจจา พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว'
19He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
19ท่านจะถูกฝังไว้อย่างฝังลา คือถูกลากไปโยนทิ้งไว้ข้างนอกประตูเมืองเยรูซาเล็ม
20Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from Abarim; for all your lovers are destroyed.
20จงขึ้นไปที่เลบานอน และร้องว่า และจงเปล่งเสียงของเจ้าในเมืองบาชาน จงร้องจากทางผ่านข้างนอก เพราะว่าคนรักทั้งสิ้นของเจ้าถูกทำลายเสียแล้ว
21I spoke to you in your prosperity; but you said, I will not hear. This has been your way from your youth, that you didn’t obey my voice.
21เราได้พูดกับเจ้าเมื่อเจ้าอยู่เย็นเป็นสุข แต่เจ้ากล่าวว่า `เราจะไม่ฟัง' นี่เป็นวิธีการของเจ้าตั้งแต่ยังหนุ่มๆ คือเจ้าไม่เชื่อฟังเสียงของเรา
22The wind shall feed all your shepherds, and your lovers shall go into captivity: surely then you will be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.
22ลมจะทำลายผู้เลี้ยงแกะทั้งสิ้นของเจ้า และบรรดาคนรักของเจ้าจะไปเป็นเชลย แล้วเจ้าจะอับอายขายหน้าเป็นแน่เนื่องด้วยความชั่วทั้งสิ้นของเจ้า
23Inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes your nest in the cedars, how greatly to be pitied you will be when pangs come on you, the pain as of a woman in travail!
23ชาวเมืองเลบานอนเอ๋ย ที่สร้างรังอยู่ท่ามกลางไม้สนสีดาร์ เจ้าจะได้รับความกรุณาสักเท่าใดเมื่อความเจ็บปวดมาเหนือเจ้า อย่างความเจ็บปวดของหญิงที่คลอดบุตร"
24As I live, says Yahweh, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on my right hand, yet would I pluck you there;
24พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เรามีชีวิตอยู่ตราบใด แม้ว่าโคนิยาห์ ราชบุตรของเยโฮยาคิม กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์ เป็นแหวนตราอยู่ที่มือขวาของเรา ถึงกระนั้นเราจะถอดออกเสีย
25and I will give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of them of whom you are afraid, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
25และมอบเจ้าไว้ในมือของคนเหล่านั้นที่แสวงหาชีวิตของเจ้า ในมือของคนเหล่านั้นซึ่งพวกเจ้ากลัวหน้าตาของเขา คือว่าในมือของเนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลน และในมือของคนเคลเดีย
26I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country, where you were not born; and there you will die.
26เราจะเหวี่ยงเจ้าและมารดาผู้คลอดเจ้าไปยังอีกประเทศหนึ่ง ที่ซึ่งเจ้ามิได้เกิดที่นั่น และเจ้าจะตายที่นั่น
27But to the land whereunto their soul longs to return, there shall they not return.
27แต่แผ่นดินซึ่งเขาอาลัยอยากจะกลับนั้น เขาจะไม่ได้กลับไปสู่ได้"
28Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? is he a vessel in which none delights? why are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into the land which they don’t know?
28โคนิยาห์ชายผู้นี้เป็นรูปเคารพที่ถูกดูหมิ่นและแตกหรือ เป็นภาชนะที่ไม่มีใครชอบหรือ ทำไมตัวเขาและเชื้อสายของเขาจึงถูกเหวี่ยง และถูกโยนเข้าในแผ่นดินซึ่งเขาทั้งหลายไม่รู้จัก
29O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of Yahweh.
29โอ้แผ่นดิน แผ่นดิน แผ่นดินเอ๋ย จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์
30Thus says Yahweh, Write you this man childless, a man who shall not prosper in his days; for no more shall a man of his seed prosper, sitting on the throne of David, and ruling in Judah.
30พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "จงเขียนลงว่าชายคนนี้ไม่มีบุตร เป็นชายซึ่งไม่เจริญขึ้นในชั่วชีวิตของเขา เพราะไม่มีคนแห่งเชื้อสายของเขาสักคนหนึ่งที่จะเจริญขึ้น ในการประทับบนพระที่นั่งของดาวิด และปกครองในยูดาห์อีก"
