¹Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says Yahweh.

¹พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "วิบัติจงมีแก่ผู้เลี้ยงแกะผู้ทำลายและกระจายแกะของลานหญ้าของเรา"

²Therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, against the shepherds who feed my people: You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, says Yahweh.

²เพราะฉะนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าแห่งอิสราเอลตรัสกับผู้เลี้ยงแกะผู้ดูแลประชาชนของเราดังนี้ว่า "เจ้าทั้งหลายได้กระจายฝูงแกะของเรา และได้ขับไล่มันไปเสีย และเจ้ามิได้เอาใจใส่มัน" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ดูเถิด เราจะลงโทษเจ้าเพราะการกระทำที่ชั่วของเจ้า

³I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply.

³แล้วเราจะรวบรวมฝูงแกะของเราที่เหลืออยู่ออกจากประเทศทั้งปวงซึ่งเราได้ขับไล่ให้เขาไปอยู่นั้น และจะนำเขากลับมายังคอกของเขา เขาจะมีลูกดกและทวีมากขึ้น"

⁴I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, says Yahweh.

⁴พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เราจะตั้งผู้เลี้ยงแกะไว้เหนือเขา ผู้จะเลี้ยงดูเขา และเขาทั้งหลายจะไม่กลัวอีกเลย หรือครั่นคร้าม จะไม่ขาดไปเลย"

⁵Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

⁵พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ดูเถิด วันเวลาจะมาถึง เมื่อเราจะเพาะอังกูรชอบธรรมให้ดาวิด และกษัตริย์องค์หนึ่งจะทรงครอบครองและเจริญขึ้น และจะทรงประทานความยุติธรรมและความเที่ยงธรรมในแผ่นดินนั้น

⁶In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name by which he shall be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

⁶ในสมัยของท่าน ยูดาห์จะรอดได้ และอิสราเอลจะอาศัยอยู่อย่างปลอดภัย และนี่จะเป็นนามซึ่งเราจะเรียกท่าน คือ พระเยโฮวาห์เป็นความชอบธรรมของเรา"

⁷Therefore behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that they shall no more say, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

⁷พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด วันเวลาจะมาถึง เมื่อคนของเขาจะไม่กล่าวอีกต่อไปว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ตราบใด ผู้ซึ่งได้นำประชาชนอิสราเอลออกมาจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์'

⁸but, As Yahweh lives, who brought up and who led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them. They shall dwell in their own land.

⁸แต่จะว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ตราบใด ผู้ซึ่งได้นำและพาเชื้อสายแห่งวงศ์วานอิสราเอลออกมาจากแดนเหนือ' และออกมาจากประเทศทั้งปวงที่เราขับไล่ให้ไปอยู่นั้น แล้วเขาทั้งหลายจะได้อาศัยอยู่ในแผ่นดินของเขาเอง"

⁹Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of Yahweh, and because of his holy words.

⁹เกี่ยวกับเรื่องบรรดาผู้พยากรณ์มีว่า ใจของข้าเป็นทุกข์อยู่ภายในข้า และกระดูกทั้งสิ้นของข้าก็สั่น ข้าเป็นเหมือนคนเมา ข้าเป็นเหมือนคนหงำด้วยเหล้าองุ่น เนื่องด้วยพระเยโฮวาห์ และเนื่องด้วยพระวจนะแห่งความบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์

¹⁰For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;

¹⁰เพราะว่า แผ่นดินนั้นเต็มไปด้วยคนล่วงประเวณี ด้วยเหตุคำสาปแช่งแผ่นดินนั้นก็ไว้ทุกข์ และลานหญ้าในถิ่นทุรกันดารก็แห้งไป วิถีของเขาทั้งหลายก็ชั่งช้า และอำนาจของเขาทั้งหลายก็ไม่เป็นธรรม

¹¹for both prophet and priest are profane; yes, in my house have I found their wickedness, says Yahweh.

¹¹พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ทั้งผู้พยากรณ์และปุโรหิตก็อธรรม ถึงแม้ว่าในนิเวศของเรา เราก็ได้เห็นความชั่วของเขา

¹²Therefore their way shall be to them as slippery places in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation, says Yahweh.

¹²เพราะฉะนั้น หนทางของเขาทั้งหลายจะเป็นเหมือนทางลื่นในความมืดแก่เขา เขาจะถูกขับไล่เข้าไปและล้มลงในนั้น เพราะเราจะนำเหตุร้ายมาเหนือเขาในปีแห่งการลงโทษเขา" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹³I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

¹³"เราได้เห็นความโง่เขลาในบรรดาผู้พยากรณ์แห่งสะมาเรีย เขาได้พยากรณ์ในนามของพระบาอัล และได้ทำให้อิสราเอลประชาชนของเราหลงไป

¹⁴In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none does return from his wickedness: they are all of them become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.

¹⁴แต่ในผู้พยากรณ์แห่งเยรูซาเล็ม เราได้เห็นสิ่งอันน่าหวาดเสียว เขาล่วงประเวณีและดำเนินอยู่ในความมุสา เขาทั้งหลายหนุนกำลังมือของผู้กระทำความชั่ว จึงไม่มีผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดหันจากความชั่วของเขา เขาทุกคนกลายเป็นเหมือนเมืองโสโดมแก่เรา และชาวเมืองนั้นก็เหมือนเมืองโกโมราห์"

¹⁵Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.

¹⁵เพราะฉะนั้น พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาจึงตรัสเกี่ยวกับเรื่องผู้พยากรณ์เหล่านั้นว่า "ดูเถิด เราจะเลี้ยงเขาด้วยบอระเพ็ด และให้น้ำดีหมีเขาดื่ม เพราะว่าความอธรรมได้ออกไปทั่วแผ่นดินนี้จากผู้พยากรณ์แห่งเยรูซาเล็ม"

¹⁶Thus says Yahweh of Armies, Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.

¹⁶พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสดังนี้ว่า "อย่าฟังถ้อยคำของผู้พยากรณ์ผู้พยากรณ์ให้ท่านฟัง เขากระทำให้ท่านไร้สาระ เขากล่าวถึงนิมิตแห่งใจของเขาเอง มิใช่จากพระโอษฐ์ของพระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁷They say continually to those who despise me, Yahweh has said, You shall have peace; and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come on you.

¹⁷เขายังพูดกับคนที่ดูหมิ่นเราว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ได้ตรัสว่า ท่านจะสุขสบาย' และแก่ทุกคนที่ดำเนินตามความดื้อกระด้างแห่งจิตใจของตนเอง เขาทั้งหลายกล่าวว่า `จะไม่มีเหตุร้ายมาเหนือเจ้า'"

¹⁸For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he should perceive and hear his word? who has marked my word, and heard it?

¹⁸เพราะว่าผู้ใดเล่าที่ได้ยืนอยู่ในคำตักเตือนของพระเยโฮวาห์ ที่จะพิเคราะห์เห็นและฟังพระวจนะของพระองค์ หรือผู้ใดที่เชื่อฟังพระวจนะของพระองค์และคอยฟัง

¹⁹Behold, the storm of Yahweh, his wrath, has gone forth. Yes, a whirling storm. It shall burst on the head of the wicked.

¹⁹ดูเถิด นั่นลมบ้าหมูของพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ออกไปแล้วด้วยพระพิโรธ เป็นลมบ้าหมูอย่างรุนแรง มันจะตกหนักบนศีรษะของคนชั่ว

²⁰The anger of Yahweh shall not return, until he has executed, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you shall understand it perfectly.

²⁰ความกริ้วของพระเยโฮวาห์จะไม่หันกลับ จนกว่าพระองค์จะทรงกระทำให้สำเร็จ และจนกว่าพระองค์ทรงกระทำตามพระเจตนาแห่งพระหฤทัยของพระองค์ ในวันหลังๆเจ้าทั้งหลายจะเข้าใจเรื่องนี้แจ่มแจ้ง

²¹I sent not these prophets, yet they ran: I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.

²¹"เรามิได้ใช้ผู้พยากรณ์เหล่านั้น แต่เขาทั้งหลายยังวิ่งไป เราไม่ได้พูดกับเขาทั้งหลาย แต่เขาทั้งหลายยังพยากรณ์

²²But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

²²แต่ถ้าเขาทั้งหลายได้ยืนอยู่ในคำตักเตือนของเรา แล้วเขาจะได้ป่าวร้องถ้อยคำของเราต่อประชาชนของเรา และเขาทั้งหลายจะได้ให้ประชาชนหันกลับจากทางชั่วของเขาแล้ว และหันกลับจากความชั่วร้ายในการกระทำของเขา"

²³Am I a God at hand, says Yahweh, and not a God afar off?

²³พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เราเป็นพระเจ้าใกล้แค่คืบ มิใช่พระเจ้าที่อยู่ไกลด้วยดอกหรือ"

²⁴Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says Yahweh. Don’t I fill heaven and earth? says Yahweh.

²⁴พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "คนใดจะซ่อนจากเราไปอยู่ในที่ลับเพื่อเราจะมิได้เห็นเขาได้หรือ" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เรามิได้อยู่เต็มฟ้าสวรรค์และโลกดอกหรือ

²⁵I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

²⁵เราได้ยินผู้พยากรณ์ ผู้ซึ่งพยากรณ์เรื่องเท็จในนามของเรา ได้กล่าวแล้วว่า `ข้าพเจ้าฝันไป ข้าพเจ้าฝันไป'

²⁶How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

²⁶นานสักเท่าใดที่คำมุสาจะอยู่ในใจของผู้พยากรณ์ ซึ่งพยากรณ์เรื่องเท็จ และผู้พยากรณ์ตามการหลอกลวงแห่งจิตใจของเขาเอง

²⁷who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name for Baal.

²⁷ผู้ซึ่งคิดว่าจะกระทำให้ประชาชนของเราลืมนามของเราโดยความฝันของเขาทั้งหลาย ซึ่งเขาเล่าสู่กันและกันฟัง อย่างกับบรรพบุรุษของเขาลืมนามของเราไปติดตามพระบาอัล

²⁸The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? says Yahweh.

²⁸จงให้ผู้พยากรณ์ที่ฝันเล่าความฝัน แต่ให้คนที่มีถ้อยคำของเรากล่าวถ้อยคำของเราอย่างสุจริต" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ฟางข้าวมีอะไรบ้างที่เหมือนข้าวสาลี"

²⁹Isn’t my word like fire? says Yahweh; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

²⁹พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ถ้อยคำของเราไม่เหมือนไฟหรือ หรือเหมือนค้อนที่ทุบหินให้แตกเป็นชิ้นๆ"

³⁰Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who steal my words everyone from his neighbor.

³⁰พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราต่อสู้กับบรรดาผู้พยากรณ์ ผู้ขโมยถ้อยคำของเราจากกันและกัน"

³¹Behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who use their tongues, and say, He says.

³¹พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ดูเถิด เราต่อสู้กับบรรดาผู้พยากรณ์ ผู้ใช้ลิ้นของเขากล่าวว่า `พระเจ้าตรัสว่า'"

³²Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I didn’t send them, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, says Yahweh.

³²พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า "ดูเถิด เราต่อสู้คนเหล่านั้นที่พยากรณ์ความฝันเท็จ และผู้ซึ่งบอกและนำประชาชนของเราให้หลงไปโดยคำมุสาและคำโอ้อวดของเขา เมื่อเรามิได้ใช้เขาหรือสั่งเขา เพราะฉะนั้นเขาจึงไม่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ชนชาตินี้อย่างใดเลย" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

³³When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of Yahweh? Then you shall tell them, What burden! I will cast you off, says Yahweh.

³³"เมื่อมีประชาชนคนหนึ่งคนใด หรือผู้พยากรณ์คนใด หรือปุโรหิตคนใดถามเจ้าว่า `อะไรเป็นภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์' เจ้าจงตอบเขาว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า อะไรเป็นภาระหรือ เราก็จะโยนเจ้าไปเสีย'

³⁴As for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, who shall say, The burden of Yahweh, I will even punish that man and his house.

³⁴และส่วนผู้พยากรณ์ ปุโรหิตหรือประชาชนผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดซึ่งพูดว่า `ภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์' เราจะลงโทษผู้นั้นและครัวเรือนของเขา

³⁵You shall say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, What has Yahweh answered? and, What has Yahweh spoken?

³⁵เจ้าทั้งหลายจงพูดดังนี้ คือทุกคนพูดกับเพื่อนบ้านของตน และทุกคนพูดกับพี่น้องของตนว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตอบว่ากระไร' หรือ `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงลั่นวาจาว่ากระไร'

³⁶You shall mention the burden of Yahweh no more: for every man’s own word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yahweh of Armies our God.

³⁶แต่เจ้าทั้งหลายอย่าเอ่ยว่า `ภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์' อีกเลย เพราะว่าภาระนั้นเป็นคำของแต่ละคน ด้วยว่าเจ้าได้ผันแปรพระวจนะของพระเจ้าผู้ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาพระเจ้าของเรา

³⁷You shall say to the prophet, What has Yahweh answered you? and, What has Yahweh spoken?

³⁷เจ้าจงกล่าวกับผู้พยากรณ์ดังนี้ว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงตอบท่านว่ากระไร' หรือ `พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงลั่นวาจาว่ากระไร'

³⁸But if you say, The burden of Yahweh; therefore thus says Yahweh: Because you say this word, The burden of Yahweh, and I have sent to you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of Yahweh;

³⁸แต่ถ้าเจ้าทั้งหลายพูดว่า `ภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์'" พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า "เพราะเจ้าทั้งหลายได้กล่าวคำเหล่านี้ว่า `ภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์' เมื่อเราใช้ไปหาเจ้าทั้งหลาย เราว่า เจ้าอย่าพูดว่า `ภาระของพระเยโฮวาห์'

³⁹therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence:

³⁹เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะลืมเจ้าทั้งหลายเสียเป็นแน่ และโยนเจ้าไปเสียจากหน้าเรา ทั้งเจ้าและเมืองซึ่งเราได้ให้แก่เจ้าและแก่บรรพบุรุษของเจ้า

⁴⁰and I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

⁴⁰และเราจะนำความถูกตำหนิเป็นนิตย์และความอายเนืองนิตย์มาเหนือเจ้าทั้งหลาย ซึ่งจะลืมเสียไม่ได้เลย"
