¹Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went early, while it was still dark, to the tomb, and saw the stone taken away from the tomb.

¹วันแรกของสัปดาห์เวลาเช้ามืด มารีย์ชาวมักดาลามาถึงอุโมงค์ฝังศพ เธอเห็นหินออกจากปากอุโมงค์อยู่แล้ว

²Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have laid him!”

²เธอจึงวิ่งไปหาซีโมนเปโตรและสาวกอีกคนหนึ่งที่พระเยซูทรงรักนั้น และพูดกับเขาว่า "เขาเอาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าออกไปจากอุโมงค์แล้ว และพวกเราไม่รู้ว่าเขาเอาพระองค์ไปไว้ที่ไหน"

³Therefore Peter and the other disciple went out, and they went toward the tomb.

³เปโตรจึงออกไปยังอุโมงค์กับสาวกคนนั้น

⁴They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter, and came to the tomb first.

⁵Stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying, yet he didn’t enter in.

⁵เขาก้มลงมองดูเห็นผ้าป่านวางอยู่ แต่เขาไม่ได้เข้าไปข้างใน

⁶Then Simon Peter came, following him, and entered into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying,

⁶ซีโมนเปโตรตามมาถึงภายหลัง แล้วเข้าไปในอุโมงค์เห็นผ้าป่านวางอยู่

⁷and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.

⁸So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed.

⁸แล้วสาวกคนนั้นที่มาถึงอุโมงค์ก่อนก็เข้าไปด้วย เขาได้เห็นและเชื่อ

⁹For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

⁹เพราะว่าขณะนั้นเขายังไม่เข้าใจข้อพระคัมภีร์ที่ว่า พระองค์จะต้องฟื้นขึ้นมาจากความตาย

¹⁰So the disciples went away again to their own homes.

¹⁰แล้วสาวกทั้งสองก็กลับไปยังบ้านของตน

¹¹But Mary was standing outside at the tomb weeping. So, as she wept, she stooped and looked into the tomb,

¹¹แต่ฝ่ายมารีย์ยืนร้องไห้อยู่นอกอุโมงค์ ขณะที่ร้องไห้อยู่เธอก้มลงมองดูที่อุโมงค์

¹²and she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

¹²และได้เห็นทูตสวรรค์สององค์สวมเสื้อขาวนั่งอยู่ ณ ที่ซึ่งเขาวางพระศพพระเยซู องค์หนึ่งอยู่เบื้องพระเศียร และองค์หนึ่งอยู่เบื้องพระบาท

¹³They told her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they have laid him.”

¹³ทูตทั้งสองพูดกับมารีย์ว่า "หญิงเอ๋ย ร้องไห้ทำไม" เธอตอบทูตทั้งสองว่า "เพราะเขาเอาองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของข้าพเจ้าไปเสียแล้ว และข้าพเจ้าไม่ทราบว่าเขาเอาพระองค์ไปไว้ที่ไหน"

¹⁴When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, and didn’t know that it was Jesus.

¹⁴เมื่อมารีย์พูดอย่างนั้นแล้ว ก็หันกลับมาและเห็นพระเยซูประทับยืนอยู่ แต่ไม่ทราบว่าเป็นองค์พระเยซู

¹⁵Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”

¹⁵พระเยซูตรัสถามเธอว่า "หญิงเอ๋ย ร้องไห้ทำไม เจ้าตามหาผู้ใด" มารีย์สำคัญว่าพระองค์เป็นคนทำสวนจึงตอบพระองค์ว่า "นายเจ้าข้า ถ้าท่านได้เอาพระองค์ไป ขอบอกให้ดิฉันรู้ว่าเอาพระองค์ไปไว้ที่ไหน และดิฉันจะรับพระองค์ไป"

¹⁶Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabboni Rabboni is a transliteration of the Hebrew word for “great teacher.” !” which is to say, “Teacher or, Master !”

¹⁶พระเยซูตรัสกับเธอว่า "มารีย์เอ๋ย" มารีย์จึงหันมาและทูลพระองค์ว่า "รับโบนี" ซึ่งแปลว่า อาจารย์

¹⁷Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers, and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

¹⁷พระเยซูตรัสกับเธอว่า "อย่าแตะต้องเรา เพราะเรายังมิได้ขึ้นไปหาพระบิดาของเรา แต่จงไปหาพวกพี่น้องของเรา และบอกเขาว่า เราจะขึ้นไปหาพระบิดาของเราและพระบิดาของท่านทั้งหลาย และไปหาพระเจ้าของเราและพระเจ้าของท่านทั้งหลาย"

¹⁸Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had said these things to her.

¹⁸มารีย์มักดาลาจึงไปบอกพวกสาวกว่า เธอได้เห็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแล้ว และพระองค์ได้ตรัสคำเหล่านั้นกับเธอ

¹⁹When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

¹⁹ค่ำวันนั้นซึ่งเป็นวันแรกของสัปดาห์ เมื่อสาวกปิดประตูห้องที่พวกเขาอยู่แล้วเพราะกลัวพวกยิว พระเยซูได้เสด็จเข้ามาประทับยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางเขา และตรัสกับเขาว่า "สันติสุขจงดำรงอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด"

²⁰When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.

²⁰ครั้นพระองค์ตรัสอย่างนั้นแล้ว พระองค์ทรงให้เขาดูพระหัตถ์และสีข้างของพระองค์ เมื่อพวกสาวกเห็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแล้ว เขาก็มีความยินดี

²¹Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”

²¹พระเยซูจึงตรัสกับเขาอีกว่า "สันติสุขจงดำรงอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด พระบิดาทรงใช้เรามาฉันใด เราก็ใช้ท่านทั้งหลายไปฉันนั้น"

²²When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit!

²²ครั้นพระองค์ตรัสดังนั้นแล้วจึงทรงระบายลมหายใจออกเหนือเขา และตรัสกับเขาว่า "ท่านทั้งหลายจงรับพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์เถิด

²³ If you forgive anyone’s sins, they have been forgiven them. If you retain anyone’s sins, they have been retained.”

²³ถ้าท่านจะยกความผิดบาปของผู้ใด ความผิดบาปนั้นก็จะถูกยกเสีย และถ้าท่านจะให้ความผิดบาปติดอยู่กับผู้ใด ความผิดบาปก็จะติดอยู่กับผู้นั้น"

²⁴But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, wasn’t with them when Jesus came.

²⁴แต่ฝ่ายโธมัสที่เขาเรียกกันว่า ดิดุมัส ซึ่งเป็นสาวกคนหนึ่งในสิบสองคนนั้น ไม่ได้อยู่กับพวกเขาเมื่อพระเยซูเสด็จมา

²⁵The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

²⁵สาวกอื่นๆจึงบอกโธมัสว่า "เราได้เห็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแล้ว" แต่โธมัสตอบเขาเหล่านั้นว่า "ถ้าข้าไม่เห็นรอยตะปูที่พระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ และไม่ได้เอานิ้วของข้าแยงเข้าไปที่รอยตะปูนั้น และไม่ได้เอามือของข้าแยงเข้าไปที่สีข้างของพระองค์แล้ว ข้าจะไม่เชื่อเลย"

²⁶After eight days again his disciples were inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being locked, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace be to you.”

²⁶ครั้นล่วงไปแปดวันแล้ว เหล่าสาวกของพระองค์อยู่ด้วยกันข้างในอีก และโธมัสก็อยู่กับพวกเขาด้วย ประตูปิดแล้ว พระเยซูเสด็จเข้ามาและประทับยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางเขาและตรัสว่า "สันติสุขจงดำรงอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเถิด"

²⁷Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”

²⁷แล้วพระองค์ตรัสกับโธมัสว่า "จงยื่นนิ้วมาที่นี่และดูมือของเรา จงยื่นมือออกคลำที่สีข้างของเรา อย่าขาดความเชื่อเลย แต่จงเชื่อเถิด"

²⁸Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”

²⁸โธมัสทูลตอบพระองค์ว่า "องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ และพระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์"

²⁹Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, TR adds “ Thomas,” you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.”

²⁹พระเยซูตรัสกับเขาว่า "โธมัสเอ๋ย เพราะท่านได้เห็นเราท่านจึงเชื่อ ผู้ที่ไม่เห็นเราแต่เชื่อก็เป็นสุข"

³⁰Therefore Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;

³⁰พระเยซูได้ทรงกระทำหมายสำคัญอื่นๆอีกหลายประการต่อหน้าเหล่าสาวกของพระองค์ ซึ่งไม่ได้จดไว้ในหนังสือม้วนนี้

³¹but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.

³¹แต่การที่ได้จดเหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ไว้ก็เพื่อท่านทั้งหลายจะได้เชื่อว่า พระเยซูทรงเป็นพระคริสต์พระบุตรของพระเจ้า และเมื่อมีความเชื่อแล้ว ท่านก็จะมีชีวิตโดยพระนามของพระองค์
