1I am the man that has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
1ข้าพเจ้าเป็นคนที่ได้เห็นความทุกข์ใจ โดยไม้เรียวแห่งพระพิโรธของพระองค์
2He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light.
2พระองค์ทรงนำและพาข้าพเจ้ามาในความมืดและไม่ใช่ในความสว่าง
3Surely against me he turns his hand again and again all the day.
3แท้จริงพระองค์ทรงหันมาต่อสู้ข้าพเจ้า พระองค์ทรงพลิกพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ต่อสู้ข้าพเจ้าอยู่ตลอดวันร่ำไป
4My flesh and my skin has he made old; he has broken my bones.
4เนื้อและหนังข้าพเจ้าพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ซูบซีดไป พระองค์ทรงหักกระดูกข้าพเจ้าแล้ว
5He has built against me, and surrounded me with gall and travail.
5พระองค์ทรงสร้างรั้วขังข้าพเจ้า ทรงเอาความขมขื่นและความทุกข์ยากลำบากล้อมข้าพเจ้าไว้
6He has made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.
6พระองค์ได้ทรงบังคับข้าพเจ้าให้อยู่ในที่มืด ดุจคนที่ตายนานแล้ว
7He has walled me about, that I can’t go forth; he has made my chain heavy.
7พระองค์ทรงกระทำรั้วต้นไม้ล้อมข้าพเจ้าไว้เพื่อจะกักไม่ให้ออกไปได้ พระองค์ทรงตีตรวนหนักล่ามข้าพเจ้าไว้
8Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer.
8ยิ่งกว่านั้น เมื่อข้าพเจ้าร้องและตะโกน พระองค์มิทรงฟังคำอธิษฐานของข้าพเจ้า
9He has walled up my ways with cut stone; he has made my paths crooked.
9พระองค์ทรงล้อมทางทั้งหลายของข้าพเจ้าด้วยก้อนหินที่สกัด พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้หนทางข้าพเจ้าคดเคี้ยวไป
10He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in secret places.
10ทีข้าพเจ้า พระองค์ทรงทำท่าดุจหมีคอยตระครุบ และดั่งสิงโตแอบซุ่มอยู่ในที่ลับ
11He has turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; he has made me desolate.
11พระองค์ทรงหันเหทางของข้าพเจ้าไปเสีย และฉีกข้าพเจ้าเป็นชิ้นๆ พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ข้าพเจ้าต้องโดดเดี่ยวอ้างว้าง
12He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
12พระองค์ทรงโก่งธนูของพระองค์และเอาข้าพเจ้าตั้งเป็นเป้าสำหรับลูกธนู
13He has caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my kidneys.
13พระองค์ทรงเอาลูกธนูในแหล่งของพระองค์ ยิงเข้าในหัวใจของข้าพเจ้าแล้ว
14I am become a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.
14ข้าพเจ้าได้กลายเป็นที่นินทาให้ชนชาติทั้งหลายหัวเราะเยาะ เป็นเนื้อเพลงให้เขาร้องเล่นวันยังค่ำ
15He has filled me with bitterness, he has sated me with wormwood.
15พระองค์ทรงให้ข้าพเจ้าบริโภคผักรสขมจนช่ำ พระองค์ทรงให้ข้าพเจ้าเมาไปด้วยบอระเพ็ด
16He has also broken my teeth with gravel stones; he has covered me with ashes.
16พระองค์กระทำให้ฟันข้าพเจ้าหักโดยเคี้ยวก้อนกรวด และทรงปกคลุมข้าพเจ้าด้วยขี้เถ้า
17You have removed my soul far off from peace; I forgot prosperity.
17พระองค์กระทำให้จิตวิญญาณของข้าพเจ้าขาดความสงบสุข จนข้าพเจ้าลืมความมั่งคั่งว่าเป็นอะไร
18I said, My strength is perished, and my expectation from Yahweh.
18ข้าพเจ้าจึงว่า "กำลังและความหวังซึ่งข้าพเจ้าได้จากพระเยโฮวาห์ก็ดับหมด"
19Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
19ขอทรงจำความทุกข์ใจและความทรมานของข้าพเจ้า อันเป็นบอระเพ็ดและดีหมี
20My soul still remembers them, and is bowed down within me.
20จิตวิญญาณของข้าพเจ้ายังนึกถึงเนืองๆ และต้องค้อมลงภายในตัวข้าพเจ้า
21This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope.
21ข้าพเจ้าหวนคิดขึ้นมาได้ ข้าพเจ้าจึงมีความหวัง
22It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail.
22เพราะเหตุพระเมตตาของพระเยโฮวาห์เราจึงไม่สูญสิ้นไป เพราะพระเมตตาของพระองค์ไม่มีสิ้นสุด
23They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
23เป็นของใหม่อยู่ทุกเวลาเช้า ความสัตย์ซื่อของพระองค์ใหญ่ยิ่งนัก
24Yahweh is my portion, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
24จิตใจของข้าพเจ้าว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงเป็นส่วนของข้าพเจ้า เหตุฉะนี้ข้าพเจ้าจะหวังในพระองค์"
25Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
25พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงดีต่อคนทั้งปวงที่คอยท่าพระองค์อยู่ และทรงดีต่อจิตวิญญาณที่แสวงพระองค์
26It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.
26เป็นการดีที่คนเราจะหวังใจและรอคอยความรอดจากพระเยโฮวาห์ด้วยความสงบ
27It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
27เป็นการดีที่คนเราจะแบกแอกในปฐมวัย
28Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he has laid it on him.
28ให้เขานั่งเงียบๆอยู่แต่ลำพัง เพราะพระองค์ทรงวางแอกนั้นเอง
29Let him put his mouth in the dust, if so be there may be hope.
29ให้เขาเอาปากจดไว้ในผงคลีดิน ถ้าทำดังนั้นชะรอยจะมีหวัง
30Let him give his cheek to him who strikes him; let him be filled full with reproach.
30ให้เขาเอียงแก้มให้ผู้ที่ตบเขา ให้เขายอมรับความอับอายอย่างเต็มเปี่ยมเถิด
31For the Lord will not cast off forever.
31ด้วยว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะไม่ทรงละทิ้งเป็นนิตย์ดอก
32For though he cause grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
32แม้พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้เกิดความเศร้าโศก พระองค์จะทรงพระกรุณาตามความเมตตาอันล้นเหลือของพระองค์
33For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.
33เพราะพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ใครเกิดความทุกข์ใจ หรือให้บุตรทั้งหลายของมนุษย์มีความโศกด้วยชอบพระทัยก็หามิได้
34To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
34การเหยียบย่ำบรรดาเชลยแห่งแผ่นดินโลกไว้ใต้เท้าก็ดี
35To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
35การตัดสิทธิ์ของมนุษย์ผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดต่อพระพักตร์ผู้ใหญ่ยิ่งสูงสุดก็ดี
36To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord doesn’t approve.
36การตัดสินกลับสัตย์ในคดีของมนุษย์ก็ดี องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าไม่ทรงพอพระทัยเลย
37Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord doesn’t command it?
37ผู้ใดจะสั่งและให้เป็นไปได้นอกจากเมื่อองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าทรงบัญชาให้เป็นไป
38Doesn’t evil and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?
38จากพระโอษฐ์ของพระผู้สูงสุดนั้นไม่ใช่มีมาทั้งร้ายและดีหรือ
39Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
39มนุษย์เป็นๆจะไปบ่นเอากับใคร คือมนุษย์ที่ถูกทำโทษเพราะบาปของตน
40Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh.
40ให้พวกเราทดสอบและพิจารณาวิถีของพวกเรา และกลับมาหาพระเยโฮวาห์เถิด
41Let us lift up our heart with our hands to God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” in the heavens.
41ให้พวกเรายกจิตใจและมือของพวกเราขึ้นต่อพระเจ้าในฟ้าสวรรค์ทูลว่า
42We have transgressed and have rebelled; you have not pardoned.
42"พวกข้าพระองค์ได้ทรยศและได้กบฏแล้ว และพระองค์ยังไม่ได้ทรงอภัยโทษ
43You have covered with anger and pursued us; you have killed, you have not pitied.
43พระองค์ทรงห่มความกริ้วและข่มเหงพวกข้าพระองค์ ได้ทรงประหารอย่างไม่สงสาร
44You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.
44พระองค์ทรงคลุมพระองค์ไว้เสียด้วยเมฆ เพื่อว่าการอธิษฐานของพวกข้าพระองค์จะไม่ทะลุไปถึงพระองค์ได้
45You have made us an off-scouring and refuse in the midst of the peoples.
45พระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำให้พวกข้าพระองค์เป็นเหมือนหยากเยื่อและมูลฝอยอยู่ในท่ามกลางชนชาติทั้งหลาย
46All our enemies have opened their mouth wide against us.
46บรรดาศัตรูของพวกข้าพระองค์ได้อ้าปากตะโกนโพนทะนาว่าพวกข้าพระองค์
47Fear and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.
47ความหวาดและกับดักมาถึงข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย ทั้งการรกร้างว่างเปล่าและความพินาศ
48My eye runs down with streams of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
48น้ำตาของข้าพระองค์ไหลเป็นแม่น้ำเนื่องด้วยความพินาศแห่งธิดาของชนชาติของข้าพระองค์
49My eye pours down, and doesn’t cease, without any intermission,
49น้ำตาของข้าพระองค์ไหลลงไม่หยุดและไม่มีเวลาสร่างเลย
50Until Yahweh look down, and see from heaven.
50กว่าพระเยโฮวาห์จะทอดพระเนตรลงแลดูจากสวรรค์
51My eye affects my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
51นัยน์ตาของข้าพระองค์ทำให้ใจข้าพระองค์ระทมเพราะเหตุบรรดาบุตรสาวแห่งกรุงข้าพระองค์
52They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.
52พวกที่ตั้งตนเป็นศัตรูต่อข้าพระองค์โดยไม่มีเหตุนั้นได้ขับไล่ข้าพระองค์ดังขับไล่นก
53They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and have cast a stone on me.
53เขาทั้งหลายจะตัดชีวิตของข้าพระองค์เสียในคุกใต้ดิน และเอาหินก้อนหนึ่งทุ่มใส่ข้าพระองค์
54Waters flowed over my head; I said, I am cut off.
54น้ำได้ท่วมศีรษะของข้าพระองค์ ข้าพระองค์ว่า `ข้าพเจ้าถูกผลาญแน่แล้ว'
55I called on your name, Yahweh, out of the lowest dungeon.
55ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ข้าพระองค์ได้ร้องออกพระนามของพระองค์จากที่ลึกในคุกใต้ดิน
56You heard my voice; don’t hide your ear at my breathing, at my cry.
56พระองค์ทรงสดับเสียงข้าพระองค์ที่ว่า `ขออย่าทรงจุกพระกรรณต่อลมหายใจและการร้องทูลของข้าพระองค์'
57You drew near in the day that I called on you; you said, Don’t be afraid.
57พระองค์ทรงเข้ามาใกล้ในวันที่ข้าพระองค์ร้องทูลพระองค์ พระองค์ตรัสว่า `ไม่ต้องกลัว'
58Lord, you have pleaded the causes of my soul; you have redeemed my life.
58ข้าแต่องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระองค์ได้ทรงเข้ากับคดีของจิตใจข้าพระองค์แล้ว พระองค์ทรงไถ่ชีวิตข้าพระองค์
59Yahweh, you have seen my wrong. Judge my cause.
59ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงเห็นที่เขาผิดต่อข้าพระองค์แล้ว ขอทรงพิพากษาคดีของข้าพระองค์เถิด
60You have seen all their vengeance and all their devices against me.
60พระองค์ได้ทรงเห็นการแก้แค้นทั้งสิ้นของเขา และบรรดาแผนการทำร้ายข้าพระองค์แล้ว
61You have heard their reproach, Yahweh, and all their devices against me,
61ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ พระองค์ทรงได้ยินคำเยาะเย้ย และบรรดาแผนการทำร้ายข้าพระองค์แล้ว
62The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
62คือริมฝีปากและความคิดของผู้ที่ได้รุกรานข้าพระองค์ ก็ต่อสู้ข้าพระองค์อยู่วันยังค่ำ
63You see their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their song.
63ดูเถิด ไม่ว่าเขาจะนั่งหรือลุก ตัวข้าพระองค์ก็เป็นเนื้อเพลงให้เขาร้องเล่น
64You will render to them a recompense, Yahweh, according to the work of their hands.
64ข้าแต่พระเยโฮวาห์ ขอพระองค์ทรงสนองเขาทั้งหลายตามการกระทำแห่งน้ำมือของเขา
65You will give them hardness of heart, your curse to them.
65ขอพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ใจของเขาทั้งปวงโศกเศร้า ขอให้คำสาปของพระองค์ตกเหนือเขา
66You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of Yahweh.
66ขอพระองค์ทรงรังควานและทำลายเขาเสียด้วยพระพิโรธจากใต้ฟ้าสวรรค์ของพระเยโฮวาห์"
