¹Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

¹วิบัติแก่ผู้ที่เตรียมความชั่วช้า และคิดกระทำความชั่วอยู่บนที่นอนของตน พอรุ่งขึ้นเช้าก็ออกไปกระทำ เพราะว่าการนั้นอยู่ในอำนาจมือของเขาที่จะกระทำได้

²They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

²เขาโลภที่ดินแล้วก็ใช้ความรุนแรงยึดเอาไป เขาโลภบ้านเรือนและก็ริบไปเสีย เขาบีบบังคับคนและบ้านเรือนของเขา และบีบคนกับมรดกของเขา

³Therefore thus says Yahweh: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.

³เพราะฉะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์จึงตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เรากำลังเตรียมภัยให้ตกกับครอบครัวนี้ ซึ่งเจ้าจะหลบคอของเจ้าให้พ้นไปไม่ได้ และเจ้าจะเดินอย่างผึ่งผายไปไม่ได้ เพราะเวลานี้เป็นการวิบัติ

⁴In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”

⁴ในวันนั้น จะมีคนเล่าคำอุปมาต่อสู้เจ้า และจะร่ำไห้ด้วยการโอดครวญอย่างขมขื่นว่า "พวกเราพินาศอย่างสิ้นเชิงแล้ว พระองค์ทรงเปลี่ยนที่ดินกรรมสิทธิ์แห่งชนชาติของข้า พระองค์ทรงถอนไปจากข้าเสียแล้วหนอ พระองค์ทรงแบ่งไร่นาของพวกเราให้แก่บรรดาคนที่จับกุมพวกเรา"

⁵ดังนั้น เจ้าจะไม่มีใครจับสลากแบ่งที่ดินกันในชุมชนแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์

⁶“Don’t prophesy!” They prophesy. “Don’t prophesy about these things. Disgrace won’t overtake us.”

⁶เขากล่าวแก่ผู้ที่พยากรณ์ว่า "อย่าพยากรณ์เลย" เขาจะไม่พยากรณ์แก่พวกเขา เพื่อพวกเขาจะไม่อับอาย

⁷Shall it be said, O house of Jacob: “Is the Spirit of Yahweh angry? Are these his doings? Don’t my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”

⁷โอ พวกที่มีชื่อว่า วงศ์วานของยาโคบเอ๋ย พระวิญญาณของพระเยโฮวาห์หมดความอดทนแล้วหรือ สิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นการกระทำของพระองค์หรือ ถ้อยคำของเราไม่กระทำให้บังเกิดผลดีแก่ผู้ที่ดำเนินในความเที่ยงธรรมหรือ

⁸But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.

⁸ในตอนหลังๆนี้ประชาชนของเราลุกขึ้นต่อสู้อย่างกับเป็นศัตรู เจ้าริบเอาเสื้อคลุมกับเสื้อผ้าจากผู้ที่ผ่านไปโดยไว้วางใจ ด้วยไม่นึกฝันว่าจะมีสงคราม

⁹You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

⁹เจ้าขับไล่พวกผู้หญิงในประชาชนของเราออกไปจากเรือนอันผาสุกของเขาทั้งหลาย เจ้าได้เอาสง่าราศีของเราไปเสียจากเด็กๆของเขาเป็นนิตย์

¹⁰Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.

¹⁰จงลุกขึ้นและจากไป เพราะที่นี่ไม่ใช่ที่พักของเจ้า เพราะความไม่สะอาดซึ่งจะทำลายเจ้า ด้วยความพินาศอย่างทุกข์ระทม

¹¹If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink”; he would be the prophet of this people.

¹¹หากคนใดจะเที่ยวไปโดยมีนิสัยหลอกลวงและมุสาว่า "เราจะพยากรณ์ให้ท่านฟังเรื่องเหล้าองุ่นและเมรัย" เขาจะเป็นผู้พยากรณ์ของชนชาตินี้ได้ละ

¹²I will surely assemble, Jacob, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the midst of their pasture; they will swarm with people.

¹²โอ ยาโคบเอ๋ย เราจะรวบรวมเจ้าทั้งหลายเป็นแน่ เราจะรวบรวมคนอิสราเอลที่เหลืออยู่ และจะตั้งเขาไว้ด้วยกันเหมือนฝูงแพะแกะที่อยู่ในเมืองโบสราห์ เหมือนฝูงสัตว์ที่อยู่ในคอก เขาจะทำเสียงดังเพราะเหตุมีคนมากมาย

¹³He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. And their king passes on before them, with Yahweh at their head.
