²Ya RAB Tanrım,Sana yakardım, bana şifa verdin.

³Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. . You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

³Ya RAB, beni ölüler diyarından çıkardın,Yaşam verdin bana, ölüm çukuruna düşürmedin.

⁴Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.

⁴Ey RABbin sadık kulları, Onu ilahilerle övün,Kutsallığını anarak Ona şükredin.

⁵For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

⁵Çünkü öfkesi bir an sürer,Lütfu ise bir ömür;Gözyaşlarınız belki bir gece akar,Ama sabahla sevinç doğar.

⁶As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.”

⁶Huzur duyunca dedim ki,‹‹Asla sarsılmayacağım!››

⁷You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

⁷Ya RAB, lütfunla beni güçlü bir dağ gibiSarsılmaz kıldın;Ama sen yüzünü gizleyince,Dehşete düştüm.

⁸I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication:

⁸Ya RAB, sana sesleniyorum,Rabbe yalvarıyorum:

⁹“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

⁹‹‹Ne yararı olur senin için dökülen kanımın,Ölüm çukuruna inersem?Toprak sana övgüler sunar mı,Senin sadakatini ilan eder mi?

¹⁰Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper.”

¹⁰Dinle, ya RAB, acı bana;Yardımcım ol, ya RAB!››

¹¹You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,

¹¹Yasımı şenliğe döndürdün,Çulumu çıkarıp beni sevinçle kuşattın.

¹²To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

¹²Öyle ki, gönlüm seni ilahilerle övsün, susmasın!Ya RAB Tanrım, sana sürekli şükredeceğim.
