1 Nun nag ñiy liggéeyandoo ak Yàlla, nu ngi leen di ñaan: jariñooleen yiw, wi ngeen jote ci Yàlla, ngir mu bañ a neen ci yéen.
1We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 Ndaxte Yàlla nee na:«Ca jamono ja mu jekke, nangu naa sa ñaan;ci bésu mucc gi laa la wallu.» Tey jii la jamono ju jekk ji; tey la bésub mucc gi.
2(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3 Bëggunoo lëmbaaje xelu kenn ci dara, ngir kenn bañ a sikk sunu liggéey.
3Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 Li nu bëgg moo di rafetal sunu tur ni jawriñi Yàlla ci fànn gu nekk; danuy muñ coono yi, tiis yi, njàqare yi;
4But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 ñu nuy dóor, di nu tëj ci kaso, dëkk yi di yengu ndax sunu mbir; nuy liggéey ba sonn, di fanaanee xool, di woor.
5In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 Nu ngi rafetal sunu yen ci dund gu sell, ci xam-xam, muñ ak laabiir, ci Xel mu Sell mi ak ci mbëggeel gu raxul njublaŋ,
6By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7 ci kàddug dëgg ak ci kàttanu Yàlla, nu ngi yor gànnaayi njubte ci loxol ndeyjoor ak lu càmmooñ.
7By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 Ñu bàkk nu, jéppi nu, sant nu, xas nu. Ñu di nu jiiñ réeral, moona niti dëgg lanu.
8By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9 Ñuy xeeb sunu tur, moona tur yi siiw nañu. Nu mel ni ñu loof, moona nu ngi dund. Ñu yar nu, teewul nu rëcc ci dee.
9As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 Danuy dékku tiis, waaye di bég fu nu tollu. Nu tumurànke, waaye di woomal ñu bare; amunu dara, fekk noo moom lépp.
10As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 Yéen bokki Korent, wax nanu leen sunu biir ak sunu biti, di leen ubbil sunu xol.
11O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 Ubbiku nanu ci yéen, waaye yéen ubbikuwuleen ci nun.
12Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Maa ngi wax ak yéen ni samay doom; feyleen nu bor bi, yéen itam; ubbileen seen xol!
13Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14 Buleen likkoo ak ñi gëmul. Gan àndandoo moo man a am diggante njubte ak ndëngte? Gan booloo moo man a am diggante leer ak lëndëm?
14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 Gan déggoo moo man a am diggante Kirist ak Beliyar? Gan jaxasoo moo man a am diggante ki gëm ak ki gëmul?
15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 Nan la këru Yàlla man a mànkoo ak xërëm yi? Ndaxte nun nooy këru Yàlla Aji Dund ji, ni ko Yàlla waxe:«Dinaa dëkk ci seen biir,tey dox ànd ak ñoom,ma nekk seen Yàlla,ñuy samay gaay.»
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Kon nag Boroom bi nee na:«Génnleen biir ñooñu te beru.Buleen laal dara lu am sobe,kon dinaa leen teeru.
17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 Dinaa nekk baay ci yéen,ngeen di doom ci man, muy góor, di jigéen. Moom la Aji Kàttan ji wax.»
18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
