1 Man Yudd, jaamu Yeesu Kirist, mi bokk ak Saag ndey ak baay, maa leen di bind, yéen ñi Yàlla Baay bi woo te bëgg leen, te Yeesu Kirist aar leen.
1Jude, bondman of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called ones beloved in God [the] Father and preserved in Jesus Christ:
2 Na leen Yàlla may yërmande, jàmm ak mbëggeel.
2Mercy to you, and peace, and love be multiplied.
3 Samay bokk, bëggoon naa leen a bind lool ci mbirum mucc gi nu bokk, waaye lii moo gën a jamp: ma xiir leen, ngeen taxaw ci aar mboolem dëgg, yi Yàlla xas a dénk gaayam yu sell yi ba fàww.
3Beloved, using all diligence to write to you of our common salvation, I have been obliged to write to you exhorting [you] to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.
4For certain men have got in unnoticed, they who of old were marked out beforehand to this sentence, ungodly [persons], turning the grace of our God into dissoluteness, and denying our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ.
5But I would put you in remembrance, you who once knew all things, that the Lord, having saved a people out of [the] land of Egypt, in the second place destroyed those who had not believed.
6 Te it malaaka ya jàppul woon ca daraja ja ñu amoon, xanaa toxoo fa ñu leen dëëloon, Yàlla yeew na leen buum yu sax, tëj leen ci biir lëndëm, di leen nége àtteb bés bu mag ba.
6And angels who had not kept their own original state, but had abandoned their own dwelling, he keeps in eternal chains under gloomy darkness, to [the] judgment of [the] great day;
7 Noonu itam dëkki Sodom ak Gomor ak dëkk ya leen wëroon, dañoo sóobu ci njaaloo ak di def ay góor-jigéen, waaye àtte bi dal na ci seen kaw, ba ñuy ay tegtal ci ñiy yelloo safara ba fàww.
7as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities around them, committing greedily fornication, in like manner with them, and going after other flesh, lie there as an example, undergoing the judgment of eternal fire.
8 Naka noonu itam gentkat yooyu may wax ñu ngi sobeel seen yaram, di weddi gépp kilifteef, di xas doole yi ci asamaan.
8Yet in like manner these dreamers also defile [the] flesh, and despise lordship, and speak railingly against dignities.
9 Waaye bi Mikayel, miy kilifa ci malaaka yi, di xëccook Seytaane néewu Musaa, bay xuloo ak moom, ñemewu koo àtte, boole ciy xas; mu yem ci wax ko ne: «Na la Boroom bi mbugal!»
9But Michael the archangel, when disputing with the devil he reasoned about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a railing judgment against [him], but said, [The] Lord rebuke thee.
10 Waaye nit ñii may wax, dañuy saaga li ñu xamul. Te li ñu xam ci tañaxu sax, ni bàyyima yu amul xel, dañu ci yàq seen bopp.
10But these, whatever things they know not, they speak railingly against; but what even, as the irrational animals, they understand by mere nature, in these things they corrupt themselves.
11 Ñoo kay torox! Dañoo jaar ci yoonu Kayin, sóobu ci réerug Balaam ngir xaalis, di bañ kilifteef ni Kore, te dinañu dee ni moom.
11Woe to them! because they have gone in the way of Cain, and given themselves up to the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 Su ñu bokkee ak yéen reeru mbooloo mi, dañu ciy indi ay, niy xeer yu nëbbu ci biir géej; amuñu genn gàcce, waaye dañuy giiroo te fonk seen biir rekk. Ñu ngi mel ni xiin yu amul ndox, yuy naaxsaay ci ngelaw; ni garab yu meññul ci jamonoy meññeef, te buddeeku, dee ba wow koŋŋ;
12These are spots in your love-feasts, feasting together [with you] without fear, pasturing themselves; clouds without water, carried along by [the] winds; autumnal trees, without fruit, twice dead, rooted up;
13 mel ni duusi géej gu mer, yuy gëq jëf yu ruslu; niy biddiiw yuy faq, te Yàlla dencal na leen lëndëm ya gën a tar ba fàww.
13raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shames; wandering stars, to whom has been reserved the gloom of darkness for eternity.
14 Enog, di juróom-ñaareelu maam gannaaw Aadama, waxoon na ci kàddug Yàlla, ba weer leen ne: «Boroom bi wàcce na ca asamaan, ànd ak ay junniy junniy malaakaam,
14And Enoch, [the] seventh from Adam, prophesied also as to these, saying, Behold, [the] Lord has come amidst his holy myriads,
15 ngir àtte ñépp, te mbugal ñi weddi ñépp ndax ñaawteef, yi ñu jëf ci ñeme Yàlla; di leen fàttali it kàddu yu ñaaw, yi ñu ko tifaar ci seeni bàkkaar ak seen weddi.»
15to execute judgment against all; and to convict all the ungodly of them of all their works of ungodliness, which they have wrought ungodlily, and of all the hard [things] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 Duñu noppee xultu, di jàmbat seen nekkin, tey topp seen nafsu; ay wax yu réy a ngi ball ci seen làmmiñ, waaye dañuy jey ñi ñuy yaakaare njariñ.
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts; and their mouth speaks swelling words, admiring persons for the sake of profit.
17 Waaye yéen samay xarit, fàttalikuleen la leen ndawi sunu Boroom Yeesu Kirist waxoon lu jiitu,
17But *ye*, beloved, remember the words spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 ne leen: «Muju jamono ay tiiñalkat dinañu feeñ, ñuy weddi Yàlla, ngir topp seen bakkan.»
18that they said to you, that at [the] end of the time there should be mockers, walking after their own lusts of ungodlinesses.
19 Ñooy féewale, te Xelum Yàlla nekkul ci ñoom, waaye niti kese lañu.
19These are they who set [themselves] apart, natural [men], not having [the] Spirit.
20 Waaye yéen samay xarit, doolewuleen ci seen yoonu ngëm wu sell, tey ñaan ci dooley Xel mu Sell mi,
20But *ye*, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 ba saxoo mbëggeelu Yàlla, tey séentu yërmandey sunu Boroom Yeesu Kirist, mu tàbbal leen ci dund gu dul jeex.
21keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 Jubbantileen ñi am werantey xel,
22And of some have compassion, making a difference,
23 ngeen musal ñale, jële leen ci safara, te yërëm ñeneen ñi, waaye boole ci moytu, ba sib sax seen yére yi taq sobe.
23but others save with fear, snatching [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Yàlla mi leen man a aar ci gépp jeng, te teewal leen fa kanam ndamam, ngeen ñàkk sikk te fees dell ak mbég;
24But to him that is able to keep you without stumbling, and to set [you] with exultation blameless before his glory,
25 Yàlla miy kenn, di sunu Musalkat, na yelloo ndam ak màgg, kàttan ak nguur, jaar ci Yeesu Kirist sunu Boroom, démb, tey, ëllëg ba fàww. Amiin.
25to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, [be] glory, majesty, might, and authority, from before the whole age, and now, and to all the ages. Amen.
