1 Noonu ma gis ca loxol ndeyjooru ka toog ca gàngune ma téere bu ñu bind biir ak biti, tay ko juróom-ñaari yoon ak sondeel.
1I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.
2 Noonu ma gis malaaka mu am doole, muy xaacu naan: «Ku yeyoo dindi tayu yi te ubbi téere bi?»
2I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”
3 Te amul kenn, muy ci asamaan, muy ci kaw suuf, muy ci biir suuf, ku manoon a ubbi téere bi, mbaa mu xool ci biir.
3No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look in it.
4 Ma jooy jooy yu metti ndax li kenn yeyoowul woon a ubbi téere bi mbaa mu xool ko.
4And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.
5 Noonu kenn ca mag ña ne ma: «Bul jooy. Xoolal, Gayndeg giiru Yuda, ki soqikoo ci Daawuda, daan na, ba am sañ-sañu dindi tayu yi te ubbi téere bi.»
5One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome; he who opens the book and its seven seals.”
6 Noonu ma gis Mbote mu mel ni dañu koo rendi woon, mu taxaw ca digg gàngune ma, ñeenti mbindeef ya séq ko, mag ña wër ko. Mbote ma amoon na juróom-ñaari béjjén ak juróom-ñaari bët, ñu di juróom-ñaari Xeli Yàlla, yi ñu yónni ci àddina sépp.
6I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
7 Mbote ma ñëw, jël téere, ba nekkoon ca loxol ndeyjooru ka toog ca gàngune ma.
7Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
8 Ba mu jëlee téere ba, ñeenti mbindeef ya ak ñaar-fukki mag ña ak ñeent daldi dëpp seen jë ca kanam Mbote ma, ku nekk yor xalam. Ñu yor it andi wurus yu fees ak cuuraay, yu doon misaal ñaani gaayi Yàlla ya.
8Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 Ñu daldi woy woy wu bees naan:«Yeyoo ngaa jël téere bite dindi tayu yi,ndaxte reyees na la,te jotal nga Yàlla ak sa deretay nit ñu bokk ci bépp giir,kàllaama, réew ak xeet.
9They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,
10 Def nga leen askanu saraxalekatiBuur Yàlla sunu Boroom,di ko jaamu,te dinañu nguuru ci àddina.»
10and made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign on earth.”
11 Ma xool noonu, dégg baatu malaaka yu bare yu ëppoon alfunniy alfunniy junniy junni. Malaaka ya wër gàngune ma ak mbindeef ya ak mag ña.
11I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands;
12 Ñuy xaacu naan:«Mbote ma ñu rendi woonyeyoo na kàttan, alal, xel, doole, teraanga, ndam ak cant.»
12saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”
13 Ma dégg itam mbindeef, yi nekk ci asamaan, ci kaw suuf, ci biir suuf, ci géej gi, — mbindeef yépp naan:«Na cant, teraanga, ndam ak nguurféete ak ki toog ci gàngune mi,ak Mbote mi ba fàww.»
13I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen! TR omits “Amen!” ”
14 Ñeenti mbindeef ya naan: «Amiin.» Mag ña sukk di màggal.
14The four living creatures said, “Amen!” The TR adds “twenty-four” elders fell down and worshiped. TR adds “the one living forever and ever”
