1預言聖殿被毀（太24:1~2；路21:5~6）耶穌從殿裡出來的時候，有一個門徒對他說：“老師，請看，這是多麼美好的石頭！多麼美好的建築！”
1And as he went forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings!
2耶穌對他說：“你看見這些偉大的建築嗎？將來必沒有一塊石頭留在另一塊石頭上面，每一塊都要拆下來。”
2And Jesus said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left here one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down.
3這世代終結的預兆（太24:3~14；路21:7~19）耶穌在橄欖山上，面對聖殿坐著，彼得、雅各、約翰和安得烈私下問他：
3And as he sat on the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4“請告訴我們，甚麼時候會有這些事呢？這一切事將要成就的時候有甚麼預兆呢？”
4Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign when these things are all about to be accomplished?
5耶穌就告訴他們說：“你們要小心，不要被人迷惑。
5And Jesus began to say unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.
6有許多人要來，假冒我的名說‘我就是基督’，並且要迷惑許多的人。
6Many shall come in my name, saying, I am [he]; and shall lead many astray.
7你們聽見戰爭和戰爭的風聲，也不要驚慌，這是免不了的，不過，結局還沒有到。
7And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.
8一個民族要起來攻打另一個民族，一個國家要起來攻打另一個國家，到處要有地震，有饑荒，這些不過是痛苦的開始。
8For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be earthquakes in divers places; there shall be famines: these things are the beginning of travail.
9但你們要小心！因為人要把你們交給公議會，你們要在會堂裡被鞭打，又要為我的緣故站在總督和君王面前，向他們作見證。
9But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them.
10然而福音必須先傳給萬民。
10And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations.
11人把你們捉去送官的時候，用不著預先思慮要說甚麼，到那時候賜給你們甚麼話，你們就說甚麼，因為說話的不是你們，而是聖靈。
11And when they lead you [to judgment], and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12弟兄要出賣弟兄，父親要出賣兒子，甚至把他們置於死地；兒女要悖逆父母，害死他們。
12And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
13你們為我的名，要被眾人恨惡，然而堅忍到底的必然得救。
13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.
14大災難的日子（太24:15~28；路21:20~24）“當你們看見‘那造成荒涼的可憎者’，站在不該站的地方（讀者必須領悟），那時，住在猶太的應當逃到山上；
14But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains:
15在房頂的不要下來，也不要進到屋子裡拿甚麼東西；
15and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house:
16在田裡的也不要回去取衣服。
16and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
17當那些日子，懷孕的和乳養孩子的有禍了！
17But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
18你們應當祈求，不要讓這些事在冬天發生。
18And pray ye that it be not in the winter.
19因為那些日子必有災難，這是從 神創世的開始到現在未曾有過的，以後也必不會再有。
19For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be.
20如果不是主減少那些日子，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了自己的選民，他必使那些日子減少。
20And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect's sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days.
21那時，如果有人對你們說：‘看哪，基督在這裡！看哪，他在那裡！’你們不要信。
21And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; or, Lo, there; believe [it] not:
22因為必有假基督和假先知出現，行神蹟和奇事，如果可以的話，連選民也要迷惑了。
22for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect.
23所以你們應當小心！我已經事先把一切都告訴你們了。
23But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
24人子必駕雲降臨（太24:29~35；路21:25~33）“當那些日子，在那災難以後，太陽就變黑了，月亮也不發光，
24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25眾星從天墜落，天上的萬象震動。
25and the stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken.
26那時，他們要看見人子，滿有能力和榮耀，駕著雲降臨；
26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27他要差派天使，把他的選民從四方，從地極直到天邊，都招聚來。
27And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28“你們應該從無花果樹學個功課：樹枝發出嫩芽長出葉子的時候，你們就知道夏天近了。
28Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;
29同樣，你們甚麼時候看見這些事發生，就知道他已經近在門口了。
29even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, [even] at the doors.
30我實在告訴你們，這一切都必會發生，然後這世代才會過去。
30Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished.
31天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。
31Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32警醒準備（太24:36~51；路21:34~36）“至於那日子和時間，沒有人知道，連天上的天使和子也不知道，只有父知道。
32But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33你們要小心，要警醒，因為你們不知道那日期甚麼時候來到。
33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34這就像一個人出外遠行，把責任（“責任”原文作“權柄”）一一地交給他的僕人，又吩咐看門的要警醒。
34[It is] as [when] a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch.
35所以你們要警醒，因為你們不知道家主甚麼時候來到，也許在黃昏，也許在半夜，也許在雞叫時，也許在清晨。
35Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;
36恐怕他忽然來到，發現你們正在睡覺。
36lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37我對你們所說的話，也是對眾人說的，‘你們要警醒’。”
37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
