1論福（路6:20~23）耶穌看見群眾，就上了山；他坐下之後，門徒來到他跟前，
1And seeing the multitudes, he went up into the mountain: and when he had sat down, his disciples came unto him:
2他就開口教訓他們：
2and he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3“心靈貧乏的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4哀痛的人有福了，因為他們必得安慰。
4Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5溫柔的人有福了，因為他們必承受地土。
5Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6愛慕公義如飢如渴的人有福了，因為他們必得飽足。
6Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7憐憫人的人有福了，因為他們必蒙憐憫。
7Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8內心清潔的人有福了，因為他們必看見 神。
8Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9使人和平的人有福了，因為他們必稱為 神的兒子。
9Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
10為義遭受迫害的人有福了，因為天國是他們的。
10Blessed are they that have been persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11人若因我的緣故辱罵你們，迫害你們，並且捏造各樣壞話毀謗你們，你們就有福了。
11Blessed are ye when [men] shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12你們應該歡喜快樂，因為你們在天上的賞賜是大的；在你們以前的先知，他們也曾這樣迫害。
12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets that were before you.
13門徒作鹽作光（可9:50；路14:34~35）“你們是地上的鹽；如果鹽失了味，怎能使它再鹹呢？結果毫無用處，唯有丟在外面任人踐踏。
13Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under foot of men.
14你們是世上的光。建在山上的城是無法隱藏的；
14Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.
15人點了燈，不會放在量器底下，而是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家人。
15Neither do [men] light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house.
16照樣，你們的光也應當照在人前，讓他們看見你們的好行為，又頌讚你們在天上的父。
16Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
17論律法“你們不要以為我來是要廢除律法和先知；我來不是要廢除，而是要完成。
17Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.
18我實在告訴你們，就算天地過去，律法的一點一畫也不會廢去，全部都要成就。
18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.
19因此，無論誰廢除誡命中最小的一條，又這樣教導人，他在天國中必稱為最小的；但若有人遵行這些誡命，並且教導人遵行，他在天國中必稱為大。
19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20我告訴你們，你們的義若不勝過經學家和法利賽人的義，就必不能進天國。
20For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21不可恨人（路12:58~59）“你們聽過有這樣吩咐古人的話：‘不可殺人，殺人的必被判罪。’
21Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22可是我告訴你們，凡是向弟兄發怒的，必被判罪。人若說弟兄是‘拉加’，必被公議會審判；人若說弟兄是‘摩利’，必難逃地獄的火。
22but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of the hell of fire.
23所以你在祭壇上獻供物的時候，如果在那裡想起你的弟兄對你不滿，
23If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee,
24就當在壇前放下供物，先去與弟兄和好，然後才來獻你的供物。
24leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
25趁著你和你的對頭還在路上的時候，要趕快與他和解，免得他抓你去見法官，法官把你交給獄警，關在監裡。
25Agree with thine adversary quickly, while thou art with him in the way; lest haply the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
26我實在告訴你，除非你還清最後一分錢，否則決不能從那裡出來。
26Verily I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the last farthing.
27不可動淫念“你們聽過有這樣的吩咐：‘不可姦淫。’
27Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28可是我告訴你們，凡是看見婦女就動淫念的，心裡已經犯了姦淫。
28but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29如果你的右眼使你犯罪，就把它挖出來丟掉；寧可失去身體的一部分，勝過全身被丟進地獄裡。
29And if thy right eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.
30如果你的右手使你犯罪，就把它砍下來丟掉；寧可失去身體的一部分，勝過全身進到地獄裡去。
30And if thy right hand causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body go into hell.
31不可休妻（太19:9；可10:11~12；路16:18）“又有這樣的吩咐：‘人若休妻，就應當給她休書。’
31It was said also, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32可是我告訴你們，凡休妻的，如果不是因她不貞，就是促使她犯姦淫；無論誰娶了被休的婦人，也就是犯姦淫了。
32but I say unto you, that every one that putteth away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery.
33不可發誓“你們又聽過有這樣吩咐古人的話：‘不可背約，向主許的願都要償還。’
33Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34可是我告訴你們，總不可發誓，不可指著天發誓，因為天是 神的寶座；
34but I say unto you, swear not at all; neither by the heaven, for it is the throne of God;
35不可指著地發誓，因為地是 神的腳凳；不可指著耶路撒冷發誓，因為它是大君王的京城；
35nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
36也不可指著自己的頭發誓，因為你不能使一根頭髮變白或變黑。
36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, for thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37你們的話，是就說‘是’，不是就說‘不是’；如果再多說，就是出於那惡者。
37But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil [one].
38不可報復（路6:29~30）“你們聽過有這樣的吩咐：‘以眼還眼，以牙還牙。’
38Ye have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39可是我告訴你們，不要與惡人對抗，有人打你的右臉，把另一邊也轉過來讓他打；
39but I say unto you, resist not him that is evil: but whosoever smiteth thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40有人要告你，想拿你的襯衫，就連外套也讓他拿去。
40And if any man would go to law with thee, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41有人要強迫你走一里路，就陪他走兩里。
41And whosoever shall compel thee to go one mile, go with him two.
42有求你的，就給他；想借貸的，也不可拒絕。
42Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43當愛仇敵（路6:27~28、32~36）“你們聽過有這樣的吩咐：‘當愛你的鄰舍，恨你的仇敵。’
43Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy:
44可是我告訴你們，當愛你們的仇敵，為迫害你們的祈禱，
44but I say unto you, love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;
45好叫你們成為你們天父的兒子；因為他使太陽照惡人，也照好人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。
45that ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.
46如果你們只愛那些愛你們的人，有甚麼賞賜呢？稅吏不也是這樣作嗎？
46For if ye love them that love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47如果你們單問候你們的弟兄，有甚麼特別呢？教外人不也是這樣作嗎？
47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others?] do not even the Gentiles the same?
48所以你們要完全，正如你們的天父是完全的。”
48Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
