¹耶穌在海邊向七個門徒顯現這些事以後，耶穌在提比里亞海邊再次向門徒顯現。他顯現的經過是這樣的：

¹After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

²當時西門．彼得、稱為“雙生子”的多馬、加利利的迦拿人拿但業、西庇太的兩個兒子，和另外兩個門徒都聚在一起。

²Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

³西門．彼得對他們說：“我要打魚去。”他們說：“我們也跟你一起去。”於是他們出去，上了船，可是那一夜他們並沒有打到甚麼。

³Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.” They told him, “We are also coming with you.” They immediately went out, and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.

⁴清早的時候，耶穌站在岸邊；門徒卻不知道他就是耶穌。

⁴But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach, yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.

⁵耶穌對他們說：“孩子們，打到魚沒有？”他們回答：“沒有。”

⁵Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.”

⁶耶穌說：“把網撒在船的右邊，就可以得著。”他們就把網撒下去，可是拉不上來，因為魚太多。

⁶He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” They cast it therefore, and now they weren’t able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.

⁷耶穌所愛的那門徒對彼得說：“是主！”西門．彼得一聽見是主，就立刻束上外衣（因為他當時赤著身子），縱身跳進海裡。

⁷That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around him (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.

⁸其他的門徒，因為離岸不遠（約有一百公尺），就坐在小船上，把那網魚拖過來。

⁸But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits 200 cubits is about 100 yards or about 91 meters away), dragging the net full of fish.

⁹他們上了岸，就看見那裡有一堆炭火，上面有魚有餅。

⁹So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.

¹⁰耶穌對他們說：“把你們剛才打的魚拿幾條來。”

¹⁰Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

¹¹西門．彼得就上船，把網拉到岸上；那網滿了大魚，共有一百五十三條。魚雖然這麼多，網卻沒有破。

¹¹Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net wasn’t torn.

¹²耶穌對他們說：“你們來，吃早飯吧。”門徒中沒有一個人敢問他：“你是誰？”因為知道他是主。

¹²Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” None of the disciples dared inquire of him, “Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.

¹³耶穌走過來，拿餅遞給他們，又照樣拿魚遞給他們。

¹³Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.

¹⁴這是耶穌從死人中復活之後，第三次向門徒顯現。

¹⁴This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples, after he had risen from the dead.

¹⁵耶穌三次問彼得是否愛他他們吃了早飯，耶穌問西門．彼得：“約翰的兒子西門，你愛我比這些更深嗎？”他回答：“主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。”耶穌說：“你餵養我的小羊。”

¹⁵So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.”

¹⁶耶穌第二次又問他：“約翰的兒子西門，你愛我嗎？”他回答：“主啊，是的，你知道我愛你。”耶穌說：“你牧養我的羊。”

¹⁶He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”

¹⁷耶穌第三次問他：“約翰的兒子西門，你愛我嗎？”彼得因為耶穌第三次問他：“你愛我嗎？”就憂愁起來，對耶穌說：“主啊，你是無所不知的，你知道我愛你。”耶穌說：“你餵養我的羊。

¹⁷He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time, “Do you have affection for me?” He said to him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.

¹⁸我實實在在告訴你，你年輕的時候，自己束上腰帶，隨意往來；但到了年老的時候，你要伸出手來，別人要把你綁著，帶你到你不願意去的地方。”

¹⁸ Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you don’t want to go.”

¹⁹耶穌說這話，是指明彼得將怎樣死，來榮耀　神。說了這話，就對彼得說：“你跟從我吧！”

¹⁹Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, “Follow me.”

²⁰耶穌所愛的那門徒彼得轉過身來，看見耶穌所愛的那門徒跟著，就是在晚飯的時候，靠著耶穌的胸膛，問“主啊，出賣你的是誰？”的那個人。

²⁰Then Peter, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Jesus sincerely loved, the one who had also leaned on Jesus’ breast at the supper and asked, “Lord, who is going to betray You?”

²¹彼得看見他，就問耶穌：“主啊，這個人將來怎麼樣？”

²¹Peter seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”

²²耶穌回答他：“如果我要他活到我來的時候，跟你有甚麼關係呢？你只管跟從我吧！”

²²Jesus said to him, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”

²³於是這話流傳在弟兄中間，說那門徒不會死。其實耶穌並沒有說他不會死，只是說：“如果我要他活到我來的時候，跟你有甚麼關係呢？”

²³This saying therefore went out among the brothers The word for “brothers” here may be also correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” , that this disciple wouldn’t die. Yet Jesus didn’t say to him that he wouldn’t die, but, “If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?”

²⁴為這些事作證，並且記述這些事的，就是這門徒；我們知道他的見證是真實的。

²⁴This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.

²⁵耶穌所行的，還有許多其他的事；如果都一一寫下來，所要寫成的書，我想就是這個世界也容不下了。

²⁵There are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they would all be written, I suppose that even the world itself wouldn’t have room for the books that would be written.
