1 神配合的，人不可分開（可10:1~12）耶穌講完了這些話，就離開加利利，來到約旦河東的猶太境內。
1It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2有許多人跟著他；他在那裡醫好了他們。
2Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
3法利賽人前來試探耶穌，說：“人根據某些理由休妻，可以嗎？”
3Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
4他回答：“造物者從起初‘造人的時候，就造男造女’。‘因此人要離開父母，與妻子連合，二人成為一體。’這些話你們沒有念過嗎？
4He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, Genesis 1:27

5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’ Genesis 2:24
6這樣，他們不再是兩個人，而是一體的了。所以 神所配合的，人不可分開。”
6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
7他們就問：“為甚麼摩西卻吩咐‘人若給了休書，就可以休妻’呢？”
7They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a bill of divorce, and divorce her?”
8他說：“摩西因為你們的心硬，才准許你們休妻，但起初並不是這樣。
8He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9我告訴你們，凡休妻另娶的，如果不是因為妻子不貞，就是犯姦淫了。”
9 I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
10門徒對他說：“夫妻的關係既然是這樣，倒不如不結婚了。”
10His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
11耶穌對他們說：“這話不是每個人都能領受的，只有賜給誰，誰才能領受。
11But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12有些人是生來就不能結婚的，有些人不能結婚是因為人使他們這樣，也有些人是為了天國的緣故自願這樣的。誰能領受就領受吧！”
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
13給小孩子按手祈禱（可10:13~16；路18:15~17）那時，有人帶了小孩子到耶穌面前，求他給他們按手祈禱，門徒就責備那些人。
13Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14但耶穌說：“讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為天國是屬於這樣的人的。”
14But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
15於是他給他們按手，然後離開那裡。
15He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
16有錢的人難進 神的國（可10:17~31；路18:18~30）有一個人前來見耶穌，說：“老師，我要作甚麼善事，才可以得著永生？”
16Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
17耶穌說：“為甚麼問我關於善的事呢？只有一位是善的。如果你想進入永生，就應當遵守誡命。”
17He said to him, “Why do you call me good? So MT and TR. NU reads “Why do you ask me about what is good?” No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18他問：“甚麼誡命？”耶穌回答：“就是‘不可殺人，不可姦淫，不可偷盜，不可作假證供；
18He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
19當孝敬父母，當愛人如己’。”
19 ‘Honor your father and mother.’ Exodus 20:12-16; Deuteronomy 5:16-20 And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Leviticus 19:18
20那青年對他說：“這一切我都遵守了，還缺少甚麼呢？”
20The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21耶穌對他說：“如果你想要完全，就去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，你就必定有財寶在天上，而且你要來跟從我。”
21Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
22那青年聽見這話，就憂憂愁愁地走了，原來他的財產很多。
22But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23耶穌對門徒說：“我實在告訴你們，有錢的人是很難進天國的。
23Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
24我又告訴你們，駱駝穿過針眼，比有錢的人進 神的國還容易呢！”
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
25門徒聽見了，十分驚奇，就問他：“這樣，誰可以得救呢？”
25When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26耶穌看著他們說：“在人這是不能的，在 神卻凡事都能。”
26Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27那時彼得對他說：“你看，我們已經捨棄一切跟從了你，我們會得到甚麼呢？”
27Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”
28耶穌對他們說：“我實在告訴你們，到了萬物更新，人子坐在他榮耀的寶座上的時候，你們這些跟從我的人，也會坐在十二個寶座上，審判以色列的十二個支派。
28Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29凡為我的名撇下房屋、兄弟、姊妹、父母、兒女或田地的，他必得著百倍，並且承受永生。
29 Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.
30然而許多在前的將要在後，在後的將要在前。”
30 But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
