¹以色列人第一次數點人口以色列人出埃及地以後，第二年二月一日，耶和華在西奈的曠野，在會幕裡對摩西說：

¹ Yahweh “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the Tent of Meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

²“你們要把以色列全體會眾，按著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，統計人口；所有男丁，都要按著人口登記。

²“Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, every male, one by one;

³在以色列中，凡是二十歲以上，能出去打仗的，你和亞倫要按著他們的隊伍數點他們。

³from twenty years old and upward, all who are able to go out to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall number them by their divisions.

⁴每一個支派要有一人幫助你們；他們每一個都是他父家的首領。

⁴With you there shall be a man of every tribe; everyone head of his fathers’ house.

⁵以下就是幫助你們的人的名字：屬流本支派的，有示丟珥的兒子以利蓿；

⁵These are the names of the men who shall stand with you: Of Reuben: Elizur the son of Shedeur.

⁶屬西緬支派的，有蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑；

⁶Of Simeon: Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

⁷屬猶大支派的，有亞米拿達的兒子拿順；

⁷Of Judah: Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

⁸屬以薩迦支派的，有蘇押的兒子拿坦業；

⁸Of Issachar: Nethanel the son of Zuar.

⁹屬西布倫支派的，有希倫的兒子以利押；

⁹Of Zebulun: Eliab the son of Helon.

¹⁰約瑟的子孫中，屬以法蓮支派的，有亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪；屬瑪拿西支派的，有比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列；

¹⁰Of the children of Joseph: Of Ephraim: Elishama the son of Ammihud. Of Manasseh: Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

¹¹屬便雅憫支派的，有基多尼的兒子亞比但。

¹¹Of Benjamin: Abidan the son of Gideoni.

¹²屬但支派的，有亞米沙代的兒子亞希以謝；

¹²Of Dan: Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

¹³屬亞設支派的，有俄蘭的兒子帕結；

¹³Of Asher: Pagiel the son of Ochran.

¹⁴屬迦得支派的，有丟珥的兒子以利雅薩；

¹⁴Of Gad: Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

¹⁵屬拿弗他利支派的，有以南的兒子亞希拉。

¹⁵Of Naphtali: Ahira the son of Enan.”

¹⁶這些人是從會眾中選出來，都是他們宗族支派的領袖；他們是以色列的族長。”

¹⁶These are those who were called of the congregation, the princes of the tribes of their fathers; they were the heads of the thousands of Israel.

¹⁷於是，摩西和亞倫帶著這些提名指定的人，

¹⁷Moses and Aaron took these men who are mentioned by name.

¹⁸在二月一日召集了全體會眾；他們就照著他們的宗族，按照他們的父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上的，都按著人口一一登記了。

¹⁸They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one.

¹⁹耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西，摩西就怎樣在西奈的曠野數點了他們。

¹⁹As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

²⁰以色列的長子，流本子孫的後代，照著宗族、父家，根據人名數目，按著人口，二十歲以上，能出去打仗的男丁，都登記了；

²⁰The children of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

²¹流本支派被數點的，共有四萬六千五百人。

²¹those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, were forty-six thousand five hundred.

²²西緬子孫的後代，照著宗族、父家，根據人名數目，按著人口，二十歲以上，能出去打仗的男丁，都登記了；

²²Of the children of Simeon, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, those who were numbered of it, according to the number of the names, one by one, every male from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

²³西緬支派被數點的，共有五萬九千三百人。

²³those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

²⁴迦得子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

²⁴Of the children of Gad, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

²⁵迦得支派被數點的，共有四萬五千六百五十人。

²⁵those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.

²⁶猶大子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

²⁶Of the children of Judah, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

²⁷猶大支派被數點的，共有七萬四千六百人。

²⁷those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, were sixty-four thousand six hundred.

²⁸以薩迦子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

²⁸Of the children of Issachar, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

²⁹以薩迦支派被數點的，共有五萬四千四百人。

²⁹those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty-four thousand four hundred.

³⁰西布倫子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

³⁰Of the children of Zebulun, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

³¹西布倫支派被數點的，共有五萬七千四百人。

³¹those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

³²約瑟的兒子，以法蓮子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

³²Of the children of Joseph, of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

³³以法蓮支派被數點的，共有四萬零五百人。

³³those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand five hundred.

³⁴瑪拿西子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

³⁴Of the children of Manasseh, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

³⁵瑪拿西支派被數點的，共有三萬二千二百人。

³⁵those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

³⁶便雅憫子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

³⁶Of the children of Benjamin, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war;

³⁷便雅憫支派被數點的，共有三萬五千四百人。

³⁷those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

³⁸但子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

³⁸Of the children of Dan, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

³⁹但支派被數點的，共有六萬二千七百人。

³⁹those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

⁴⁰亞設子孫的後代，照著宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

⁴⁰Of the children of Asher, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

⁴¹亞設支派被數點的，共有四萬一千五百人。

⁴¹those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, were forty-one thousand five hundred.

⁴²拿弗他利子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

⁴²Of the children of Naphtali, their generations, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go forth to war;

⁴³拿弗他利支派被數點的，共有五萬三千四百人。

⁴³those who were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

⁴⁴以上就是被數點的人數，是摩西和亞倫，以及以色列的首領十二人（每父家一人）所數點的。

⁴⁴These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: they were each one for his fathers’ house.

⁴⁵這樣，在以色列中，按著父家，二十歲以上，凡是能出去打仗的以色列人，都登記了；

⁴⁵So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go out to war in Israel;

⁴⁶被數點的，共有六十萬零三千五百五十人。

⁴⁶even all those who were numbered were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.

⁴⁷利未人不計算在內只有利未人沒有按著他們家族的支派，數點在其中。

⁴⁷But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

⁴⁸因為耶和華曾對摩西說：

⁴⁸For Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

⁴⁹“只有利未支派，你不可數點，也不可把他們的總數列入以色列人中。

⁴⁹“Only the tribe of Levi you shall not number, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel;

⁵⁰只要派利未人管理法櫃的帳幕，和其中的一切器具，以及一切屬於帳幕的事物；他們要抬帳幕和其中的一切器具；他們要辦理帳幕的事，在帳幕四周安營。

⁵⁰but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle, and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it.

⁵¹帳幕要起行的時候，利未人要把它拆卸下來；帳幕要支搭的時候，利未人要把它豎立起來；如果有外人走近，必須處死。

⁵¹When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.

⁵²以色列人安營，要依照他們的隊伍，各歸本營，各歸本旗。

⁵²The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions.

⁵³但利未人要在法櫃帳幕的四周安營，免得　神的忿怒臨到以色列的會眾；利未人要負看守法櫃的帳幕的責任。”

⁵³But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.”

⁵⁴以色列人就這樣行了，耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西，他們就怎樣行。

⁵⁴Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so they did.
