¹ Lord, The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.” you have been our dwelling place for all generations.

²群山尚未生出，大地和世界你未曾造成，從永遠到永遠，你是　神。

²Before the mountains were brought forth, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

³你使人歸回塵土，說：“世人哪！你們要歸回塵土。”

³You turn man to destruction, saying, “Return, you children of men.”

⁴在你看來，千年好像剛過去了的昨天，又像夜裡的一更。

⁴For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.

⁵你使世人消逝，像被洪水沖去；他們好像睡了一覺；他們又像在早晨生長的草，

⁵You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.

⁶早晨發芽生長，晚上就凋萎枯乾。

⁶In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.

⁷我們因你的怒氣而消滅，因你的烈怒而驚恐。

⁷For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.

⁸你把我們的罪孽擺在你面前，把我們的隱惡擺在你臉光之中。

⁸You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

⁹我們一生的日子都在你的震怒中消逝，我們度盡的年歲好像一聲歎息。

⁹For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.

¹⁰我們一生的年日是七十歲，如果強壯，可到八十歲，但其中可誇耀的，不過是勞苦愁煩；我們的年日轉眼即逝，我們也如飛而去了。

¹⁰The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.

¹¹誰曉得你怒氣的威力，誰按著你該受的敬畏曉得你的忿怒呢？

¹¹Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?

¹²求你教導我們怎樣數算自己的日子，好使我們得著智慧的心。

¹²So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

¹³耶和華啊！要到幾時呢？求你回心轉意，求你憐恤你的僕人。

¹³Relent, Yahweh! “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. How long? Have compassion on your servants!

¹⁴求你使我們早晨飽嘗你的慈愛，好使我們一生一世歡呼喜樂。

¹⁴Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

¹⁵你使我們受苦和遭難的年日有多久，求你使我們喜樂的日子也有多久。

¹⁵Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil.

¹⁶願你的作為向你的僕人彰顯，願你的威嚴向他們的子孫顯明。

¹⁶Let your work appear to your servants; your glory to their children.

¹⁷願主我們的　神的恩慈臨到我們身上；願你為我們的緣故，堅立我們手所作的工；我們手所作的工，願你堅立。

¹⁷Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.
