¹I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.

¹大衛的訓誨詩，是在山洞時作的，是一篇禱告。我大聲向耶和華呼求，高聲向耶和華懇求。

²I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

²我在他面前傾吐我的苦情，在他面前陳述我的患難。

³When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

³我的靈在我裡面軟弱的時候，你知道我的道路。在我所行的路上，敵人暗設網羅陷害我。

⁴I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

⁴求你向我右邊觀看，沒有人關心我；我沒有逃難的地方，也沒有人照顧我。

⁵I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

⁵耶和華啊！我向你呼求；我說：“你是我的避難所，是我在活人之地的業分。

⁶Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

⁶求你留心聽我的呼求，因為我落到極卑微的地步；求你救我脫離逼迫我的人，因為他們比我強大。

⁷Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

⁷求你把我從牢獄中領出來，好讓我稱讚你的名；義人必環繞著我，因為你以厚恩待我。”
