¹Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

¹大衛的金詩，交給詩班長，調用“休要毀壞”，是在掃羅打發人去窺探大衛的家，要殺死他以後作的。我的　神啊！求你救我脫離我的仇敵，求你把我安放在高處，脫離那些起來攻擊我的人。

²Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

²求你救我脫離作孽的人，救我脫離流人血的人。

³For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

³看哪！他們埋伏要害我的性命；強盛的人聚集起來攻擊我；耶和華啊！這不是因我的過犯，也不是因我的罪惡。

⁴They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

⁴我雖然沒有過錯，他們還是跑來，預備好攻擊我。求你醒來，幫助我，鑒察我。

⁵Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

⁵萬軍的　神耶和華啊！你是以色列的　神，求你醒來，懲罰萬國；求你不要恩待那些背信棄義的惡人。（細拉）

⁶They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

⁶他們每晚都回來，好像狗一樣狂吠，環繞著城行走。

⁷Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

⁷看哪！他們口中吐出惡言，他們嘴裡吐出利刀，他們心裡說：“有誰聽見呢？”

⁸But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

⁸但你耶和華必譏笑他們，你必嗤笑萬國。

⁹Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

⁹我的力量啊！我要仰望你，　神啊！因為你是我的高臺。

¹⁰The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

¹⁰我的　神必以慈愛迎接我；　神必叫我看見我的仇敵遭報。

¹¹Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

¹¹不要殺害他們，免得我的人民忘記了；主啊！你是我們的盾牌，求你用你的能力，使他們飄流無定，並且降為卑微。

¹²For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

¹²因他們口中的罪，因他們嘴裡所說的話，願他們在自己的驕傲中被纏住。因他們所說的是咒罵和欺騙的話，

¹³Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

¹³求你在怒中消滅他們，消滅他們，以致無一倖免，好使他們知道　神在雅各中間掌權，直到地極。（細拉）

¹⁴And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

¹⁴他們每晚都回來，好像狗一樣狂吠，環繞著城行走。

¹⁵Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

¹⁵他們四處飄流，尋找食物；如果得不到飽足，就不斷咆哮。

¹⁶But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

¹⁶至於我，我要歌頌你的能力，每天早晨我要向你的慈愛歡呼，因為你作了我的高臺，在患難的日子，作了我的避難所。

¹⁷Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

¹⁷我的力量啊！我要向你歌唱；　神啊！你是我的高臺，是向我施慈愛的　神。
