1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1पिआरे बन्धुओ, दुनिया मँ तमाम झूठे नबी फैल ग अहइँ। हर एक आतिमा क बिसवास न करइ चाही, पहले ओनका परखिके देख लेइ चाही कि का उ परमेस्सर क अही? इ मइँ तोहसे इ बरे कहत अही।
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
2परमेस्सर क आतिमा क तू इ तरह पहिचान सकत ह्या: जउन आतिमा इ मानत ह, “ईसू मसीह मनई क रूप धइके दुनिया मँ आइ अहइ,” उ परमेस्सर कइँती स आइ अहइ।
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
3अउर हर उ आतिमा जउन ईसू क नाहीं मानत, परमेस्सर कइँती स नाहीं आइ बाटइ। अइसी आतिमा मसीह क विरोधी अहइ, जेकरे बारे मँ सुने अहा कि उ आवत अहइ, मुला अब तउ उ इही दुनिया मँ अहइ।
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
4पिआरे बच्चो, तू पचे परमेस्सर क अह्या। इही बरे तू मसीह क विरोधी क ऊपर जीत हासिल कइ लिहे अहा। काहेकि उ परमेस्सर जउन तोहरे अन्दर अहइ, दुनिया मँ रहइवाला सइतान स बड़ा अहइ।
5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
5मसीह क विरोध करइवाले मनइयन संसारी अही। एह बरे उ पचे जउन कछू बोलत हीं, उहउ सब कछू दुनियादारी क चीज अहइ अउर दुनिया ओनकइ बात सुनत ह।
6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
6मुला हम पचे परमेस्सर क अही, तउ जउन मनई परमेस्सर क जानत ह, उ हमार सबन क सुनत ह। मुला जउन मनई परमेस्सर क नाहीं जानत, हमार नाहीं सुनत। इ तरह हम सच्ची आतिमा तथा झूठी आतिमा क पहिचान सकित ह।
7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
7पिआरे बन्धुओ, हमका सबका एक दूसरे स पिरेम करइ चाही। काहेकि पिरेम परमेस्सर स मिलत ह अउर जउन मनई पिरेम करत ह, उ परमेस्सर क सन्तान बन जात ह अउर परमेस्सर क जानत ह।
8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
8जउन मनई पिरेम नाहीं करत परमेस्सर क नाहीं जान पावत, काहेकि परमेस्सर पिरेम अहइ।
9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
9परमेस्सर आपन पिरेम इ तरह स देखावत ह: उ अपने एकलौते बेटवा क इ दुनिया मँ भेजेस जइसेन कि हम सब ओकरे द्वारा जिन्दगी पाइ सकी।
10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
10सच्चा पिरेम एहमाँ नाहीं अहइ कि हम परमेस्सर स पिरेम करी, उ तउ एहमाँ अहइ कि एक अइसेन बलिदान क रूप मँ जउन हमरे पापन क धारण कइ लेत ह, उ अपने बेटवा क भेजके हमरी कइँती आपन पिरेम देखाए अहइ।
11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
11पिआरे बन्धुओं, जदि परमेस्सर इ तरह स हमरे ऊपर आपन पिरेम देखाएस तउ हमहूँ क एक दूसरे स पिरेम करइ चाही।
12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
12परमेस्सर क कबहुँ कउनो नाहीं देखेस अहइ, मुला जदि हम एक दुसरे स पिरेम करित ह तउ परमेस्सर हमरे मँ निवास करत ह अउर हमरे सबन क भीतर ओकर पिरेम सम्पूर्ण होइ जात ह।
13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
13इ तरह स हम जान सकित ह कि हम परमेस्सर मँ निवास करित ह अउर उ हमरे भीतर रहत ह। उ अपनी आतिमा क कछू भाग हमका दिहे अहइ।
14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
14एका हम देखे अही अउर हम एकर साच्छी अही, परमपिता अपने बेटवा क दुनिया क बचाव करइ क वास्ते भेजे अहइ।
15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
15जदि कउनो इ मानत लेत ह, “ईसू परमेस्सर क पूत अहइ” तउ परमेस्सर ओहमाँ रहइ लागत ह। अउर उ मनई परमेस्सर मँ रहत ह।
16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
16इ जउ पिरेम परमेस्सर हमसे रखत ह, ओका हम जान गएउँ अउर हमरे उपर बिसवास किहे अहइ, जउन पिरेम परमेस्सर हमरे बरे रखत ह। परमेस्सर पिरेम अहइ अउर जउन मनई पिरेम मँ बना रहत ह, उ परमेस्सर मँ बना रहत ह अउर परमेस्सर ओहमाँ बना रहत ह।
17Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
17हमरे बावत पिरेम इही तरह स पूर्ण अहइ जइसेन कि निआव क दिन हमरे अन्दर बिसवास बना रहइ। हमार इ बिसवास इ बरे बना रहत ह, काहेकि हम जउन जीवन जिअत अही, उ मसीह क जिन्दगी जइसेन अहइ।
18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
18पिरेम मँ कउनो भय नाहीं रहत, हिआँ तलक कि भरपूर पिरेम सब डर भगाय देत ह। भय क ताल्लुक दंड स अहइ। इ बरे जेहमाँ भय अहइ, ओकरे पिरेम क पूर्णता नाहीं मिलत।
19We love him, because he first loved us.
19हम पिरेम करित अही काहेकि पहले परमेस्सर हमसे पहिले पिरेम करे अहइ।
20If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
20जउ कउनो मन मनई कहत ह, “मइँ परमेस्सर क पिरेम करित हउँ।” अउर अपने भाई स नफरत करत हउँ, तउ उ झूठा अहइ। काहेकि सच मँ जदि उ अपने उ भाई स पिरेम नाहीं करत जेका कि उ देखे अहइ, तउ उ परमेस्सर स कइसे पिरेम कइ सकत ह, जेका उ देखे नाहीं अहइ।
21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
21इ आदेस मसीह हमका दिहे अहइ। उ मनई जउन परमेस्सर क पिरेम करत ह, ओका अपने भाई स पिरेम करइ चाही।
