2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
2Blagoslivljaj Jahvu, dušo moja, i ne zaboravi dobročinstva njegova:
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
3on ti otpušta sve grijehe tvoje, on iscjeljuje sve slabosti tvoje;
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
4on ti od propasti čuva život, kruni te dobrotom i ljubavlju;
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
5život ti ispunja dobrima, k'o orlu ti se mladost obnavlja.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
6Jahve čini pravedna djela i potlačenima vraća pravicu,
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
7Mojsiju objavi putove svoje, sinovima Izraelovim djela svoja.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
8Milosrdan i milostiv je Jahve, spor na srdžbu i vrlo dobrostiv.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
9Jarostan nije za vječna vremena niti dovijeka plamti srdžba njegova.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
10Ne postupa s nama po grijesima našim niti nam plaća po našim krivnjama.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
11Jer kako je nebo visoko nad zemljom, dobrota je njegova s onima koji ga se boje.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
12Kako je istok daleko od zapada, tako udaljuje od nas bezakonja naša.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
13Kako se otac smiluje dječici, tako se Jahve smiluje onima što ga se boje.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
14Jer dobro zna kako smo sazdani, spominje se da smo prašina.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
15Dani su čovjekovi kao sijeno, cvate k'o cvijetak na njivi;
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
16jedva ga dotakne vjetar, i već ga nema, ne pamti ga više ni mjesto njegovo.
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
17Al' ljubav Jahvina vječna je nad onima što ga se boje i njegova pravda nad sinovima sinova,
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
18nad onima što njegov Savez čuvaju i pamte mu zapovijedi da ih izvrše.
19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
19Jahve u nebu postavi prijestolje svoje, i kraljevska vlast svemir mu obuhvaća.
20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
20Blagoslivljajte Jahvu, svi anđeli njegovi, vi jaki u sili, što izvršujete naredbe njegove, poslušni riječi njegovoj!
21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
21Blagoslivljajte Jahvu, sve vojske njegove, sluge njegove koje činite volju njegovu!
22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
22Blagoslivljajte Jahvu, sva djela njegova, na svakome mjestu vlasti njegove: blagoslivljaj Jahvu, dušo moja!
