⁴For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

⁴Issand, ma tahan sind tänada rahvaste seas, ja tahan sulle mängida rahvahõimude keskel.

⁵Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

⁵Sest suur kuni taevasteni on sinu heldus ja kuni ülemate pilvedeni sinu ustavus.

⁶That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

⁶Jumal, ülenda ennast üle taevaste ja üle kogu ilmamaa olgu su auhiilgus!

⁷God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

⁷Et pääseksid su armsad, selleks aita oma parema käega ja vasta meile!

⁸Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

⁸Jumal on rääkinud oma pühamus: Ma tahan võidutseda, jaotada Sekemi ja mõõta ära Sukkoti oru.

⁹Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

⁹Gilead on minu ja Manasse on minu, Efraim on mu pea kaitse. Juuda on mu valitsuskepp,

¹⁰Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

¹⁰Moab on mu pesukauss, Edomi peale ma viskan oma sandaali. Vilistimaa, hõiska minule!

¹¹Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?

¹¹Kes viib mu kindlasse linna? Kes saadab mind Edomini?

¹²Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

¹²Eks sina, Jumal, tõuganud meid ära, ega sina, Jumal, läinudki välja meie sõjaväega?!

¹³Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

¹³Anna meile abi kitsikuses, sest tühine on inimeste abi!

¹⁴Jumalaga me teeme vägevaid tegusid ja tema tallab maha meie rõhujad.
