2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
2(H46-3) Darum fürchten wir uns nicht, wenn auch die Erde weicht und die Berge mitten ins Meer sinken,
3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
3(H46-4) wenn gleich seine Wasser wüten und toben und vor seinem Übermut die Berge zittern. (Pause.)
4There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
4(H46-5) Ein Strom mit seinen Bächen erfreut die Stadt Gottes, die heiligen Wohnungen des Höchsten.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
5(H46-6) Gott ist in ihrer Mitte, sie wird nicht wanken; Gott wird ihr helfen, wenn der Morgen anbricht.
6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
6(H46-7) Die Völker tobten, die Königreiche wankten, als er seine Stimme hören ließ; und die Erde verging.
7The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
7(H46-8) Mit uns aber ist der HERR der Heerscharen; der Gott Jakobs ist für uns eine feste Burg! (Pause.)
8Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
8(H46-9) Kommt her, schauet die Werke des HERRN, der auf Erden Verheerungen angerichtet hat,
9He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
9(H46-10) der den Kriegen ein Ende macht, der den Bogen zerbricht, den Speer zerschlägt und die Wagen mit Feuer verbrennt!
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
10(H46-11) Seid stille und erkennet, daß ich Gott bin; ich will erhaben sein unter den Völkern, ich will erhaben sein auf Erden.
11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
11(H46-12) Der HERR der Heerscharen ist mit uns, der Gott Jakobs ist unsre feste Burg! (Pause.)
