¹Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

¹主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの天から主をほめたたえよ。もろもろの高き所で主をほめたたえよ。

²Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

²その天使よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。その万軍よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。

³Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

³日よ、月よ、主をほめたたえよ。輝く星よ、みな主をほめたたえよ。

⁴Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

⁴いと高き天よ、天の上にある水よ、主をほめたたえよ。

⁵Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

⁵これらのものに主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ、これらは主が命じられると造られたからである。

⁶He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

⁶主はこれらをとこしえに堅く定め、越えることのできないその境を定められた。

⁷Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

⁷海の獣よ、すべての淵よ、地から主をほめたたえよ。

⁸Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

⁸火よ、あられよ、雪よ、霜よ、み言葉を行うあらしよ、

⁹Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

⁹もろもろの山、すべての丘、実を結ぶ木、すべての香柏よ、

¹⁰Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

¹⁰野の獣、すべての家畜、這うもの、翼ある鳥よ、

¹¹Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

¹¹地の王たち、すべての民、君たち、地のすべてのつかさよ、

¹²Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

¹²若い男子、若い女子、老いた人と幼い者よ、

¹³Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

¹³彼らをして主のみ名をほめたたえさせよ。そのみ名は高く、たぐいなく、その栄光は地と天の上にあるからである。主はその民のために一つの角をあげられた。これはすべての聖徒のほめたたえるもの、主に近いイスラエルの人々のほめたたえるものである。主をほめたたえよ。

¹⁴He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

¹⁴主はその民のために一つの角をあげられた。これはすべての聖徒のほめたたえるもの、主に近いイスラエルの人々のほめたたえるものである。主をほめたたえよ。
