¹And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

¹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូល ទៅកាន់សិស្ស ថា៖ «មានសេដ្ឋីមួយរូប បានប្រគល់មុខងារអោយអ្នកបំរើម្នាក់មើលខុសត្រូវលើទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិរបស់លោក។ មានគេមកជំរាបលោកថា អ្នកនោះបានចាយវាយទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិលោកយ៉ាងខ្ជះខ្ជាយ។

²And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

²សេដ្ឋីក៏ហៅអ្នកមើលខុសត្រូវមកប្រាប់ថា"ចូរគិតបញ្ជីយកមកអោយខ្ញុំ អ្នកមិនអាចមើលខុសត្រូវលើទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិខ្ញុំតទៅទៀតបានឡើយ ព្រោះសេចក្ដីដែលខ្ញុំបានឮគេនិយាយអំពីអ្នក មិនល្អសោះ"។

³Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

³អ្នកបំរើនោះរិះគិត ក្នុងចិត្ដថា "ចៅហ្វាយលែងអោយអញទទួលខុសត្រូវលើទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិលោកទៀតហើយ។ តើអញគិតទៅធ្វើការ អ្វីវិញហ្ន៎? អញគ្មានកម្លំាងនឹងកាប់គាស់ដីទេបើដើរសុំទានខ្មាសគេ។

⁴I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

⁴អូ៎! នឹកឃើញហើយ គួរធ្វើយ៉ាងនេះ ដើម្បីអ្នកស្រុកទទួលអញអោយស្នាក់នៅផ្ទះគេ នៅពេលអញឈប់កាន់កាប់ការងារនេះ"។

⁵So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?

⁵គាត់ក៏ហៅកូនបំណុលរបស់ចៅហ្វាយអោយចូលមកម្នាក់ម្ដងៗគាត់សួរអ្នកទីមួយថា "តើអ្នកជំពាក់ចៅហ្វាយខ្ញុំប៉ុន្មាន?"។

⁶And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

⁶កូនបំណុលនោះឆ្លើយថា "ប្រេងមួយរយប៉ោត"។ អ្នកបំរើប្រាប់ថា "នេះនែ៎! យកបញ្ជីរបស់អ្នក ហើយអង្គុយចុះ សរសេរយ៉ាងប្រញាប់ ដាក់ថា ជំពាក់ហាសិបប៉ោត"។

⁷Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.

⁷បន្ទាប់មកគាត់សួរម្នាក់ទៀតថា "តើអ្នកជំពាក់ចៅហ្វាយខ្ញុំប៉ុន្មានដែរ?"។ កូនបំណុលនោះឆ្លើយថា"ស្រូវប្រាំរយថំាង"។ អ្នកបំរើប្រាប់ថា "នែ៎! យកបញ្ជីរបស់អ្នកហើយសរសេរដាក់ថាជំពាក់បួនរយថំាង"។

⁸And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

⁸ម្ចាស់ក៏សរសើរអ្នកបំរើដែលប៉ិនប្រសប់បោកបញ្ឆោត។ មនុស្សក្នុងលោកនេះ តែងតែប៉ិនប្រសប់រកស៊ីជាមួយគ្នា ជាងអស់អ្នកដែលស្គាល់ពន្លឺរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទៅទៀត»។

⁹And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

⁹«ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ចូរយកទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិលោកីយ៍ដែលបញ្ឆោតចិត្ដនេះ ទៅធ្វើទាន ដើម្បីអោយមានមិត្ដភក្ដិច្រើន។ ពេលណាទ្រព្យនេះរលាយសូន្យទៅមិត្ដភក្ដិទាំងនោះ នឹងទទួលអ្នករាល់គ្នា នៅក្នុងដំណាក់របស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។

¹⁰He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

¹⁰អ្នកណាស្មោះត្រង់ក្នុងកិច្ចការដ៏តូច អ្នកនោះក៏ស្មោះត្រង់ក្នុងកិច្ចការធំដុំដែរ។ អ្នកណាបោកបញ្ឆោតក្នុងកិច្ចការដ៏តូច អ្នកនោះក៏តែងបោកបញ្ឆោតក្នុងកិច្ចការធំដុំដែរ។

¹¹If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

¹¹ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្មោះត្រង់ក្នុងរបៀបប្រើប្រាស់ទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិលោកីយ៍ដែលបញ្ឆោតចិត្ដនេះទេ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ក៏ពុំអាចប្រគល់ទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិដ៏ពិត ប្រាកដមកអ្នករាល់គ្នាបានដែរ។

¹²And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

¹²ប្រសិនបើអ្នករាល់គ្នាមិនស្មោះត្រង់នឹងទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិអ្នកដទៃផង ធ្វើម្ដេចអោយព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រទានទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិដែលព្រះអង្គបំរុងទុកសំរាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នា មកអ្នករាល់គ្នាបាន!

¹³No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

¹³គ្មានអ្នកណាអាចបំរើម្ចាស់ពីរនាក់បានទេព្រោះអ្នកនោះនឹងស្អប់ម្នាក់ស្រឡាញ់ម្នាក់ ស្មោះត្រង់នឹងម្នាក់ មើលងាយម្នាក់ទៀតពុំខាន។ អ្នករាល់គ្នាពុំអាចគោរពបំរើព្រះជាម្ចាស់ផង គោរពបំរើទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិលោកីយ៍ផងបានឡើយ»។

¹⁴And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

¹⁴កាលពួកខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ឮដូច្នោះ គេក៏ចំអកអោយព្រះយេស៊ូ ដ្បិតពួកគេស្រឡាញ់ប្រាក់ណាស់។

¹⁵And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

¹⁵ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «អ្នករាល់គ្នាតែងតែសំដែងឫកពាអោយមនុស្សលោកឃើញថា អ្នករាល់គ្នាជា ជនសុចរិត ប៉ុន្ដែ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ឈ្វេងយល់ចិត្ដអ្នករាល់គ្នា។ អ្វីៗដែលមនុស្សលោកយល់ឃើញថាល្អប្រសើរ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ចាត់ទុកថាជាការគួរ អោយស្អប់ខ្ពើម។

¹⁶The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

¹⁶គម្ពីរវិន័យ និង គម្ពីរព្យាការី បានប្រៀនប្រដៅមនុស្សតាំងពីដើមរៀងមក រហូតដល់លោកយ៉ូហានបាទីស្ដមកដល់។ ប៉ុន្ដែ តាំងពីពេលនោះមក មនុស្សម្នាបានឮដំណឹងល្អ អំពីព្រះរាជ្យ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយគ្រប់គ្នាខំប្រឹងចូល។

¹⁷And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

¹⁷ផ្ទៃមេឃផែនដីនឹងរលាយសូន្យទៅ តែក្រឹត្យវិន័យមិន រលាយឡើយ សូម្បីតែតួអក្សរមួយដ៏តូច ក៏មិនរលាយបាត់ផង។

¹⁸Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

¹⁸បុរសណាលែងភរិយា ហើយទៅរៀបការនឹងស្ដ្រីម្នាក់ទៀត បុរសនោះបានប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើផិតក្បត់។ រីឯបុរសណារៀបការនឹងស្ដ្រីប្ដីលែង បុរសនោះក៏បានប្រព្រឹត្ដ អំពើផិតក្បត់ដែរ»។

¹⁹There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

¹⁹«មានបុរសម្នាក់ជាអ្នកមាន គាត់ប្រើសុទ្ធតែសម្លៀកបំពាក់ល្អៗ ធ្វើពីក្រណាត់សំពត់ថ្លៃៗ។ គាត់រស់នៅដោយ សប្បាយមានម្ហូបអាហារឆ្ងាញ់ៗបរិបូណ៌រាល់ថ្ងៃ។

²⁰And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

²⁰មានបុរសម្នាក់ទៀតជាអ្នកក្រ ឈ្មោះឡាសារ គាត់កើតដំបៅ ពេញខ្លួន ហើយតែងដេកនៅមាត់ទ្វាររបងផ្ទះអ្នកមាននោះ។

²¹And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

²¹អ្នកឡាសារចង់បរិភោគកំទេចម្ហូបអាហារដែលជ្រុះ ពីតុអ្នកមាននោះណាស់ ហើយក៏មានឆ្កែមកលិទ្ធដំបៅគាត់ទៀតផង។

²²And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

²²ថ្ងៃមួយ អ្នកក្រនោះស្លាប់ទៅ ពួកទេវតា នាំគាត់យកទៅដាក់ក្បែរលោកអប្រាហំា នៅស្ថានបរមសុខ។ រីឯអ្នកមានក៏ស្លាប់ដែរ គេយកសពគាត់ទៅបញ្ចុះក្នុងផ្នូរ។

²³And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

²³នៅស្ថានមនុស្សស្លាប់ អ្នកមាននោះរងទុក្ខទារុណកម្មយ៉ាងខ្លាំង គាត់ងើបមុខទៅលើឃើញ លោកអប្រាហំាពីចម្ងាយ ហើយឃើញអ្នកឡាសារនៅក្បែរលោកដែរ។

²⁴And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

²⁴គាត់ស្រែកអង្វរលោកអប្រាហំាថា "លោកឪពុកអើយ! សូមអាណិតមេត្ដាខ្ញុំផង។ សូមលោកឪពុកប្រាប់ឡាសារអោយយកម្រាមដៃជ្រលក់ទឹក បន្ដក់លើអណ្ដាតខ្ញុំបន្ដិច ព្រោះនៅក្នុងភ្លើងនេះ ខ្ញុំឈឺចុកចាប់ណាស់"។

²⁵But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

²⁵លោកអប្រាហំាមានប្រសាសន៍ថា "កូនអើយ! ចូរនឹកចាំថា កាលកូនមានជីវិតនៅឡើយ កូនស្គាល់តែសប្បាយ រីឯឡាសារវិញ គ្នាស្គាល់តែទុក្ខ។ ឥឡូវនេះ ឡាសារបានសុខក្សេមក្សាន្ដហើយតែកូនវិញ កូនត្រូវឈឺចុកចាប់។

²⁶And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

²⁶ម៉្យាងទៀត មានលំហមួយយ៉ាងធំខណ្ឌយើងពីអ្នករាល់គ្នា ទោះបីអ្នកណាចង់ឆ្លងពីស្ថាននេះទៅរកអ្នករាល់គ្នា ក៏ឆ្លងមិនបានឡើយ ទោះបីមានអ្នកណាចង់ឆ្លងពីអ្នករាល់គ្នាមករកយើង ក៏ឆ្លងមិនបានដែរ"។

²⁷Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

²⁷អ្នកមាននោះអង្វរថា"លោកឪពុកអើយ! សូមលោកឪពុកមេត្ដាចាត់ឡាសារអោយទៅផ្ទះឪពុកខ្ញុំផង

²⁸For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

²⁸ខ្ញុំមានបងប្អូនប្រាំនាក់។ សូមអោយឡាសារទៅប្រាប់គេអោយដឹងខ្លួន កុំអោយគេមកកន្លែងរងទុក្ខទារុណកម្មនេះ"។

²⁹Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

²⁹លោកអប្រាហំាឆ្លើយថា "បងប្អូនរបស់កូនបានឮពាក្យប្រៀនប្រដៅរបស់លោកម៉ូសេ និង ពាក្យប្រៀនប្រដៅរបស់ពួកព្យាការីហើយ អោយគេធ្វើតាមពាក្យលោកទាំងនោះចុះ"។

³⁰And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

³⁰អ្នកមានតបទៅលោកអប្រាហំាថា "ទេ! លោកឪពុក ទាល់តែមានអ្នកណាម្នាក់ ពីចំណោមមនុស្សស្លាប់ ទៅប្រាប់គេ ទើបគេកែប្រែចិត្ដគំនិត"។

³¹And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

³¹ប៉ុន្ដែ លោកអប្រាហំាឆ្លើយតបវិញថា "ប្រសិនបើគេមិនធ្វើតាមពាក្យប្រៀនប្រដៅរបស់លោកម៉ូសេ និង ពាក្យប្រៀនប្រដៅរបស់ព្យាការីទេ ទោះបីមានមនុស្សស្លាប់បានរស់ឡើងវិញ ទៅប្រាប់គេក៏ដោយ ក៏គេមិនព្រមជឿដែរ"»។
