¹And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

¹បន្ទាប់មក ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលជាប្រស្នា ពន្យល់សិស្ស អោយដឹងថា ត្រូវតែអធិស្ឋានជានិច្ច មិនត្រូវរសាយចិត្ដឡើយ៖

²Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

²«នៅក្នុងក្រុងមួយ មានចៅក្រមម្នាក់ ជាមនុស្សមិនកោតខ្លាចព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ហើយមិនកោតក្រែងនរណាឡើយ។

³And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

³មានស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយម្នាក់នៅក្នុងក្រុងនោះដែរ គាត់តែងមកអង្វរចៅក្រមថា "សូមលោករកយុត្ដិធម៌អោយនាងខ្ញុំផង"។

⁴And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

⁴ប៉ុន្ដែ ចៅក្រមមិនព្រមកាត់ក្ដីអោយភ្លាមៗទេ លោកចេះតែពន្យារពេលយ៉ាងយូរ។ ក្រោយមក លោកនឹកក្នុងចិត្ដថា "ទោះបីអញមិនកោតខ្លាចព្រះជាម្ចាស់ មិនកោតក្រែងនរណាក៏ដោយ

⁵Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

⁵ក៏អញត្រូវតែកាត់ក្ដី អោយស្ដ្រីមេម៉ាយនេះដែរ ព្រោះគាត់ចេះតែមករំអុកអញគ្រប់ពេលវេលា។ បើអញមិនកាត់ក្ដីអោយគាត់ទេ មុខជាគាត់មករំខានអញមិនចេះចប់មិនចេះហើយ"»។

⁶And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

⁶ព្រះអម្ចាស់មានព្រះបន្ទូលបន្ថែមទៀតថា៖«ចូរពិចារណាពាក្យរបស់ចៅក្រមដ៏អាក្រក់នេះចុះ។

⁷And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

⁷ចំណង់បើព្រះជាម្ចាស់វិញ ព្រះអង្គរឹតតែរកយុត្ដិធម៌អោយអស់អ្នកដែលព្រះអង្គបានជ្រើសរើស ហើយដែលអង្វរព្រះអង្គ ទាំងយប់ ទាំងថ្ងៃ ព្រះអង្គគ្រាន់តែបង្អង់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ។

⁸I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

⁸ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ព្រះអង្គនឹងរកយុត្ដិធម៌អោយគេ ក្នុងរយៈពេលដ៏ខ្លី។ ប៉ុន្ដែ ពេលបុត្រមនុស្ស មកដល់ តើលោកឃើញមនុស្សមានជំនឿនៅលើផែនដីនេះឬទេ?»។

⁹And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

⁹ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលជាប្រស្នាមួយទៀត ទៅកាន់អ្នកខ្លះដែលនឹកស្មានថាខ្លួនជាមនុស្សសុចរិត ហើយបែរជាមើលងាយអ្នកដទៃ។

¹⁰Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

¹⁰ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖«មានបុរសពីរនាក់ឡើងទៅអធិស្ឋាន ក្នុងព្រះវិហារ ។ ម្នាក់ខាងគណៈផារីស៊ី ម្នាក់ទៀតជាអ្នកទារពន្ធ ។

¹¹The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

¹¹បុរសខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីឈរអធិស្ឋានក្នុងចិត្ដថា"បពិត្រព្រះជាម្ចាស់ ទូលបង្គំសូមអរព្រះគុណព្រះអង្គ ព្រោះទូលបង្គំមិនដូចជនឯទៀតៗទេ អ្នកទាំងនោះសុទ្ធតែជាចោរ ជាមនុស្សទុច្ចរិត ជាមនុស្សប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើផិតក្បត់ ហើយទូលបង្គំក៏មិនដូចអ្នកទារពន្ធនេះដែរ

¹²I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

¹²ទូលបង្គំតមអាហារ ពីរដងក្នុងមួយអាទិត្យ ហើយទូលបង្គំថ្វាយរបស់អ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលទូលបង្គំរកបាន មួយភាគដប់ដល់ព្រះអង្គ"។

¹³And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

¹³រីឯអ្នកទារពន្ធគាត់ឈរនៅពីចម្ងាយមិនទាំងហ៊ានងើបមុខផង។ គាត់គក់ទ្រូង ទូលថា "ឱព្រះជាម្ចាស់អើយ! សូមអាណិតមេត្ដាទូលបង្គំជាមនុស្សបាបផង"។

¹⁴I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

¹⁴ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អ្នករាល់គ្នាថា ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ប្រោសអ្នកទារពន្ធនេះអោយបានសុចរិត ហើយគាត់ត្រឡប់ទៅផ្ទះវិញ រីឯបុរសខាងគណៈផារីស៊ីមិនបានសុចរិតទេ។ អ្នកណាលើកតម្កើងខ្លួន អ្នកនោះនឹងត្រូវគេបន្ទាបចុះ រីឯអ្នកដែលបន្ទាបខ្លួននឹងត្រូវគេលើកតម្កើងវិញ»។

¹⁵And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

¹⁵មានមនុស្សម្នាបីទារកមកអោយព្រះយេស៊ូដាក់ព្រះហស្ដលើវា។ ឃើញដូច្នោះ ពួកសិស្ស ស្ដីបន្ទោសគេ

¹⁶But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

¹⁶តែព្រះយេស៊ូសុំអោយគេយកទារកទាំងនោះមកជិតព្រះអង្គ រួចទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ទុកអោយក្មេងៗមករកខ្ញុំចុះ កុំឃាត់ពួកវាឡើយ ដ្បិតមានតែអ្នកមានចិត្ដដូចក្មេងទាំងនេះទេ ទើបចូលទៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់បាន។

¹⁷Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

¹⁷ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាមិនព្រមទទួលព្រះរាជ្យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ដូចក្មេងតូចមួយទេ អ្នកនោះចូលក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យព្រះអង្គមិនបានឡើយ»។

¹⁸And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

¹⁸មាននាម៉ឺនម្នាក់ទូលសួរព្រះយេស៊ូថា៖ «លោកគ្រូដ៏សប្បុរសអើយ! តើខ្ញុំត្រូវធ្វើអ្វី ដើម្បីអោយបានទទួលជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច ទុកជាមត៌ក?»។

¹⁹And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

¹⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលតបថា៖«ហេតុអ្វីបានជាលោកថាខ្ញុំសប្បុរសដូច្នេះ? ក្រៅពីព្រះជាម្ចាស់មួយព្រះអង្គ គ្មាននរណាម្នាក់សប្បុរសឡើយ។

²⁰Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

²⁰លោកស្គាល់បទបញ្ជា ស្រាប់ហើយថា"កុំប្រព្រឹត្ដអំពើផិតក្បត់កុំសម្លាប់មនុស្ស កុំលួចទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិគេ កុំនិយាយកុហកធ្វើអោយគេមានទោស ចូរគោរពមាតាបិតា"។

²¹And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

²¹បុរសនោះទូលព្រះយេស៊ូថា "ខ្ញុំបានប្រតិបត្ដិតាមបទបញ្ជាទាំងនេះតាំងតែពីក្មេងមក"។

²²Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

²²ព្រះយេស៊ូឮ ដូច្នេះ ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅសល់កិច្ចការមួយទៀតដែលលោកមិនទាន់ធ្វើ គឺត្រូវយកអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលលោកមានទៅលក់ ហើយចែកអោយជនក្រីក្រ។ ធ្វើដូច្នេះ លោកនឹងបានសម្បត្ដិសួគ៌ រួចសឹមអញ្ជើញមកតាមខ្ញុំចុះ»។

²³And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.

²³ពេលនាម៉ឺននោះឮដូច្នេះ គាត់ព្រួយចិត្ដយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដ្បិតគាត់ជាអ្នកមានស្ដុកស្ដម្ភ។

²⁴And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

²⁴កាលព្រះយេស៊ូឃើញគាត់ព្រួយចិត្ដ ព្រះអង្គមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «អ្នកមានពិបាកនឹងចូលទៅក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យ ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ណាស់

²⁵For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁵សត្វអូដ្ឋ ចូលតាមប្រហោងម្ជុល ងាយជាងអ្នកមានចូលក្នុងព្រះរាជ្យព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទៅទៀត»។

²⁶And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?

²⁶អស់អ្នកដែលឮព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះអង្គ ពោលឡើងថា៖«បើដូច្នេះ តើអ្នកណាអាចទទួលការសង្គ្រោះបាន?»។

²⁷And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

²⁷ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលឆ្លើយថា៖ «ការអ្វីដែលមនុស្សធ្វើពុំកើត ព្រះជាម្ចាស់ធ្វើកើតទាំងអស់»។

²⁸Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

²⁸លោកពេត្រុសទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖ «ព្រះអង្គទតឃើញស្រាប់ហើយ អ្វីៗដែលយើងខ្ញុំមាន យើងខ្ញុំបានលះបង់ចោលទាំងអស់ ហើយមកតាមព្រះអង្គ»។

²⁹And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

²⁹ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ខ្ញុំសុំប្រាប់អោយអ្នករាល់គ្នាដឹងច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាលះបង់ផ្ទះសម្បែង ប្រពន្ធ កូន ឪពុកម្ដាយ និង បងប្អូន ដោយយល់ដល់ព្រះរាជ្យព្រះជាម្ចាស់

³⁰Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

³⁰អ្នកនោះនឹងទទួលបានយ៉ាងច្រើនលើសលប់ នៅពេលឥឡូវនេះ ព្រមទាំងមានជីវិតអស់កល្បជានិច្ច នៅពេលខាងមុខថែមទៀតផង»។

³¹Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

³¹ព្រះយេស៊ូនាំសាវ័ក ទាំងដប់ពីររូប ចេញទៅជាមួយព្រះអង្គ។ ទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគេថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ យើងឡើងទៅក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម អ្វីៗទាំងអស់ដែលព្យាការី បានចែងទុក អំពីបុត្រមនុស្ស នឹងកើតមាននៅទីនោះ

³²For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

³²គេនឹងបញ្ជូនលោកទៅក្នុងកណ្ដាប់ដៃរបស់សាសន៍ដទៃ ពួកនោះនឹងចំអកត្មះតិះដៀលលោក ព្រមទាំងស្ដោះទឹកមាត់ដាក់លោកផង។

³³And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

³³គេនឹងយករំពាត់វាយលោក រួចប្រហារជីវិតលោក។ ប៉ុន្ដែ បីថ្ងៃក្រោយមកលោកនឹងរស់ឡើងវិញ»។

³⁴And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

³⁴ពួកសាវ័កពុំបានយល់ព្រះបន្ទូលនោះទេ ហើយក៏មិនដឹងថា ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលអំពីរឿងអ្វីផង ព្រោះអត្ថន័យនៅលាក់កំបាំងនៅឡើយ។

³⁵And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:

³⁵កាលព្រះយេស៊ូយាងមកជិតដល់ក្រុងយេរីខូ មានមនុស្សខ្វាក់ម្នាក់ អង្គុយសុំទាននៅតាមផ្លូវ។

³⁶And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.

³⁶ពេលគាត់ឮ ស្នូរបណ្ដាជនដើរតាមនោះ គាត់សួរគេថាមានរឿងអ្វី

³⁷And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

³⁷គេប្រាប់គាត់ថា ព្រះយេស៊ូជាអ្នកភូមិណាសារ៉ែតយាងមកតាមផ្លូវនោះ។

³⁸And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.

³⁸មនុស្សខ្វាក់ក៏ស្រែកឡើងថា៖ «ឱព្រះយេស៊ូ ជាព្រះរាជវង្សព្រះបាទដាវីឌអើយ! សូមអាណិតមេត្ដាទូលបង្គំផង!»។

³⁹And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

³⁹ពួកអ្នកដែលដើរខាងមុខបានឃាត់គាត់អោយនៅស្ងៀម ប៉ុន្ដែ គាត់ស្រែករឹតតែខ្លាំងឡើងៗ ថា៖«ឱព្រះរាជវង្សព្រះបាទដាវីឌអើយ សូមអាណិតមេត្ដាទូលបង្គំផង!»។

⁴⁰And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,

⁴⁰ព្រះយេស៊ូក៏ឈប់ ហើយបញ្ជាគេអោយ នាំគាត់ចូលមកជិតព្រះអង្គ។ លុះមនុស្សខ្វាក់ដើរចូលមក ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលសួរគាត់ថា៖

⁴¹Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

⁴¹«តើអ្នកចង់អោយខ្ញុំធ្វើអ្វី?»។ គាត់ទូលព្រះអង្គថា៖«បពិត្រព្រះអម្ចាស់! សូមព្រះអង្គប្រោសអោយភ្នែកទូលបង្គំ បានភ្លឺឡើងវិញផង»។

⁴²And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

⁴²ព្រះយេស៊ូមានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅគាត់ថា៖ «ជំនឿរបស់អ្នកបានសង្គ្រោះអ្នកហើយ ចូរអោយភ្នែកអ្នកបានភ្លឺ ឡើងវិញចុះ»។

⁴³And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

⁴³រំពេចនោះគាត់មើលឃើញវិញភ្លាម ហើយគាត់ក៏តាមព្រះយេស៊ូទាំងលើកតម្កើងសិរីរុងរឿងរបស់ព្រះជាម្ចាស់។ ប្រជាជនទាំងមូលបានឃើញហេតុការណ៍នោះ គេសរសើរតម្កើងព្រះជាម្ចាស់ទាំងអស់គ្នា។
