1Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
1എന്റെ ഉള്ളം ദൈവത്തെ നോക്കി മൌനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ രക്ഷ അവങ്കല്‍നിന്നു വരുന്നു.
2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
2അവന്‍ തന്നേ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഗോപുരം അവന്‍ തന്നേ; ഞാന്‍ ഏറെ കുലുങ്ങുകയില്ല.
3How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
3നിങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാവരും ചാഞ്ഞ മതിലും ആടുന്ന വേലിയുംപോലെ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു എത്രത്തോളം അവനെ ആക്രമിക്കും?
4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
4അവന്റെ പദവിയില്‍നിന്നു അവനെ തള്ളിയിടുവാനത്രേ അവര്‍ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നതു; അവര്‍ ഭോഷ്കില്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; വായ്കൊണ്ടു അവര്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഉള്ളംകൊണ്ടു അവര്‍ ശപിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.
5My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
5എന്റെ ഉള്ളമേ, ദൈവത്തെ നോക്കി മൌനമായിരിക്ക; എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ അവങ്കല്‍നിന്നു വരുന്നു.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
6അവന്‍ തന്നേ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഗോപുരം അവന്‍ തന്നേ; ഞാന്‍ കുലുങ്ങുകയില്ല.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
7എന്റെ രക്ഷയും എന്റെ മഹിമയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കല്‍ ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പാറയും എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും ദൈവത്തിങ്കലാകുന്നു.
8Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
8ജനമേ, എല്ലാകാലത്തും അവനില്‍ ആശ്രയിപ്പിന്‍ ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം അവന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ പകരുവിന്‍ ; ദൈവം നമുക്കു സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു. സേലാ.
9Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
9സാമാന്യജനം ഒരു ശ്വാസവും ശ്രേഷ്ഠജനം ഭോഷകുമത്രേ; തുലാസിന്റെ തട്ടില്‍ അവര്‍ പൊങ്ങിപ്പോകും; അവര്‍ ആകപ്പാടെ ഒരു ശ്വാസത്തേക്കാള്‍ ലഘുവാകുന്നു.
10Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
10പീഡനത്തില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു; കവര്‍ച്ചയില്‍ മയങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; സമ്പത്തു വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചാല്‍ അതില്‍ മനസ്സു വെക്കരുതു;
11God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
11ബലം ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളതെന്നു ദൈവം ഒരിക്കല്‍ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. ഞാന്‍ രണ്ടുപ്രാവശ്യം കേട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
12Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
12കര്‍ത്താവേ, ദയയും നിനക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു. നീ ഔരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം പകരം നലകുന്നു. (ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം; അവന്‍ യെഹൂദാമരുഭൂമിയില്‍ ഇരിക്കും കാലത്തു ചമെച്ചതു.)
