¹And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

¹ وقتی آن روز برسد، هفت زن یک مرد را می‌گیرند و به او خواهند گفت: «ما می‌توانیم غذا، خوراک و پوشاک خود را فراهم کنیم. خواهش می‌کنیم به ما اجازه بده تا بگوییم تو شوهر ما هستی تا بیش از این از بی‌شوهری شرمنده نباشیم.»

²In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

² زمانی می‌آید که خداوند تمام گیاهان و درختان این زمین را بلند و زیبا خواهد رویانید. تمام مردم اسرائیل که زنده می‌مانند از محصولات زمین خشنود و سربلند خواهند شد.

³And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

³ تمام آنها که در اورشلیم می‌مانند، یعنی آنهایی که خداوند برای بقا برگزیده است، مقدّس خوانده خواهند شد.

⁴When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

⁴ خداوند با قدرت خود قوم خود را داوری و پاک می‌سازد. او گناه اورشلیم و خونهایی را که در آن ریخته شده است، می‌شُوید.

⁵And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

⁵ آنگاه خداوند، کوه صهیون و تمام کسانی را که آنجا گرد آمده‌اند، در روز با ابر و در شب با دود و شعلهٔ نورانی خواهد پوشانید. جلال خداوند تمام شهر را دربر می‌گیرد و از آن محافظت خواهد کرد. جلال او چون سایبانی شهر را از گرمای روز حفظ می‌کند و آن را در برابر باران و توفان امن و محفوظ نگاه خواهد داشت.

⁶And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

⁶ جلال او چون سایبانی شهر را از گرمای روز حفظ می‌کند و آن را در برابر باران و توفان امن و محفوظ نگاه خواهد داشت.
