¹The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

¹ خداوند، خدای قادر مطلق، تمام مردم روی زمین را، از شرق تا غرب، احضار نموده سخن می‌گوید:

²Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

² نور جمال او از صهیون که جلوه‌گاه زیبایی است می‌درخشد.

³Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

³ خدای ما می‌آید، امّا نه در سکوت، بلکه با آتش سوزنده که در پیشاپیش اوست و توفان سهمگین که در اطراف اوست.

⁴He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

⁴ آسمانها و زمین را به گواهی می‌طلبد تا بر قوم خود داوری کند.

⁵Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

⁵ او می‌فرماید: «جمع شوید ای مؤمنانی که با قربانی‌های خود با من پیمان بستید.»

⁶And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

⁶ آسمانها اعلام می‌کنند که خدا عادل است، و او خودش داوری می‌کند.

⁷Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

⁷ ای قوم من بشنوید، من سخن می‌گویم؛ ای اسرائیل، بدانید که من خدا هستم، خدای شما که علیه شما گواهی می‌دهم.

⁸I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

⁸ من در مورد قربانی‌های شما و قربانی‌های سوختنی شما، که پیوسته تقدیم می‌کنید، شما را سرزنش نمی‌کنم.

⁹I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

⁹ من به گاو مزرعهٔ شما و به بُز گلّهٔ شما احتیاجی ندارم،

¹⁰For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

¹⁰ زیرا همهٔ حیوانات جنگل و تمام چارپایانی که بر هزاران کوه و تپّه می‌چرند، از آن من هستند.

¹¹I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

¹¹ تمامی پرندگان و تمام حیوانات صحرا از آن من می‌باشند.

¹²If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

¹² اگر گرسنه هم می‌بودم به شما نمی‌گفتم، زیرا که من مالک تمام جهان و هرچه در آن است می‌باشم.

¹³Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

¹³ مگر من گوشت گاو می‌خورم و یا خون بُز می‌نوشم؟

¹⁴Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

¹⁴ بلکه شکرگزاری‌های شما، قربانی‌های شما باشد و به قولی که به قادر متعال داده‌اید، وفا کنید.

¹⁵And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

¹⁵ در مواقع سختی و مشکلات مرا صدا کنید. من شما را رهایی می‌دهم و شما مرا ستایش خواهید کرد.

¹⁶But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

¹⁶ امّا خداوند به شریران می‌فرماید: «شما حق ندارید که احکام مرا بیان کنید و دربارهٔ پیمان من حرف بزنید.

¹⁷Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.

¹⁷ زیرا نمی‌خواهید که من شما را اصلاح کنم و احکام مرا بجا نمی‌آورید.

¹⁸When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

¹⁸ دوست دزدان هستید و با زناکاران همنشین می‌شوید.

¹⁹Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

¹⁹ «زبان شما همیشه به فریب‌آلوده است و از دروغ گفتن شرم ندارید.

²⁰Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

²⁰ به برادرت تهمت می‌زنی و از او بدگویی می‌کنی.

²¹These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

²¹ تو همهٔ این کارها را انجام دادی و من چیزی نگفتم. تو گمان کردی که من هم مانند تو هستم. امّا حالا تو را سرزنش نموده محکوم می‌سازم.

²²Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

²² «ای کسانی‌که مرا فراموش کرده‌اید، به من گوش دهید، وگرنه شما را نابود خواهم كرد و کسی نخواهد بود که شما را رهایی دهد. شکرگزاری، قربانی شایسته‌ای است که با آن مرا احترام می‌کنید و من همهٔ کسانی را که از من اطاعت کنند، نجات خواهم داد.»

²³Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

²³ شکرگزاری، قربانی شایسته‌ای است که با آن مرا احترام می‌کنید و من همهٔ کسانی را که از من اطاعت کنند، نجات خواهم داد.»
