1And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
1A Mojžiš prikázal i so staršími Izraelovými ľudu povediac: Ostríhať budete všetky prikázania, ktoré vám ja prikazujem dnes,
2And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
2a bude toho dňa, ktorého prejdete cez Jordán do zeme, ktorú ti dá Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, že si postavíš veľké kamene a olíčiš ich vápnom.
3And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
3Napíšeš na ne všetky slová tohoto zákona, keď prejdeš na druhú stranu, aby si vošiel do zeme, ktorú ti dá Hospodin, tvoj Bôh, do zeme, ktorá tečie mliekom a medom, tak ako ti hovoril Hospodin, Bôh tvojich otcov.
4Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
4A bude, keď prejdete cez Jordán, že postavíte tie kamene, o ktorých vám ja prikazujem dnes, na vrchu Ébale a olíčiš ich vápnom
5And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
5a vystavíš tam oltár Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu, oltár z kameňov; nezaženieš sa nad nimi železom.
6Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
6Z neotesaných kameňov vystavíš oltár Hospodina, svojho Boha, a budeš na ňom obetovať zápalné obeti Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu.
7And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
7A zabíjajúc obetovať budeš pokojné obeti a budeš tam jesť a budeš sa radovať pred Hospodinom, svojím Bohom.
8And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
8A napíšeš na kamene všetky slová tohoto zákona, zreteľne a dobre.
9And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
9A Mojžiš hovoril i kňazi Levitovia všetkému Izraelovi a vravel; Mlč a počuj, Izraelu, tohoto dňa si sa stal ľudom Hospodinovi, svojmu Bohu;
10Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
10preto budeš počúvať na hlas Hospodina, svojho Boha, a budeš činiť jeho prikázania a jeho ustanovenia, ktoré ti ja prikazujem dnes.
11And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
11A Mojžiš prikázal ľudu toho dňa a riekol:
12These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
12Títo budú stáť, aby žehnali ľud, na vrchu Gerizíme, keď prejdete cez Jordán; Simeon, Lévi, Júda, Izachár, Jozef a Benjamin.
13And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
13A títo sa postavia na vrchu Ébale, aby kliali; Rúben, Gád, Aser, Zabulon, Dán a Naftali.
14And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
14A Leviti odpovedia a rieknu všetkým mužom Izraelovým povýšeným hlasom:
15Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
15Zlorečený človek, ktorý by spravil rytinu alebo sliatinu nejakej modly, ohavnosť Hospodina, dielo rúk remeselníka, a položil niekde na skryté miesto. A všetok ľud odpovie a riekne: Ameň.
16Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
16Zlorečený, kto by si zľahčil svojho otca alebo svoju mať. A všetok ľud povie; Ameň.
17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
17Zlorečený, kto by preniesol medzník svojho blížneho. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
18Zlorečený, kto by zaviedol slepého, aby zablúdil na ceste. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
19Zlorečený, kto by prevrátil súd pohostína, siroty alebo vdovy. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
20Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
20Zlorečený, kto by ležal so ženou svojho otca, pretože odkryl krýdlo odevu svojho otca. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
21Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
21Zlorečený, kto by ležal s nejakým hovädom, nech by bolo jakékoľvek. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
22Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
22Zlorečený, kto by ležal so svojou sestrou, s dcérou svojho otca alebo s dcérou svojej materi. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
23Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
23Zlorečený, kto by ležal so svojou svokrou. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
24Zlorečený, kto by zabil alebo nabil svojho blížneho v skrytosti. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
25Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
25Zlorečený, kto by vzal úplatok, aby zabil nevinného človeka. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
26Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
26Zlorečený, kto by nepostavil slov tohoto zákona, aby ich činil. A všetok ľud povie: Ameň.
