2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
2Slavi, duša moja, GOSPODA in ne pozabi vseh dobrot njegovih!
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
3Ki ti odpušča vse krivice tvoje, ki ozdravlja vse bolezni tvoje,
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
4ki otimlje iz jame življenje tvoje, ki te venča z milostjo in usmiljenjem,
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
5ki napolnjuje z vsem dobrim usta tvoja, da se kakor orlu ponavlja mladost tvoja.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
6Kar je pravično, dela GOSPOD in pravosodje vrši za vse zatirance.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
7Razodel je Mojzesu pota svoja, sinovom Izraelovim dela svoja.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
8Usmiljen in milostiv je GOSPOD, počasem v jezo in obilen v milosti.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
9Ne huduje se vekomaj in večno ne drži jeze.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
10Ne dela nam po grehih naših in ne povrača nam po krivicah naših.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
11Temuč kakor so visoko nebesa nad zemljo, tako močna je milost njegova nad njimi, ki se ga bojé.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
12Kakor daleč je vzhod od zahoda, tako daleč spravlja od nas prestopke naše.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
13Kakor se oče usmili otrok, usmili se GOSPOD njih, ki se ga bojé.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
14Kajti on pozna, kakšna stvar smo, spominja se, da smo prah.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
15Človekovi dnevi so kakor trava, on cvete kakor cvetica na polju:
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
16ko veter potegne čeznjo, je ni več in mesta njenega ni več poznati.
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
17A milost GOSPODOVA se razteza od veka do veka nanje, ki se ga bojé, in pravičnost njegova je za sinov sinove,
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
20Slavite GOSPODA, angeli njegovi, vi junaki v moči, ki izvršujete povelje njegovo, poslušajoč glas njegove besede!
21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
21Slavite GOSPODA, vse vojske njegove, služabniki njegovi, izpolnjujoči voljo njegovo!Slavite GOSPODA, vsa dela njegova, po vseh krajih njegovega gospostva! Slavi, duša moja, GOSPODA!
22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
