²To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

²Oznanjati zjutraj milost tvojo in zvestobo vsako noč,

³Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

³z desetostrunjem in z brenkljami, z umetno godbo na citre.

⁴For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁴Kajti razveseljuješ me, GOSPOD, z delom svojim, glasno bom prepeval o tvojih rok dejanjih.

⁵O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

⁵Kako velika so dela tvoja, GOSPOD, silno globoke so misli tvoje!

⁶A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

⁶Človek živinski ne spoznava in nespametnež ne umeje tega.

⁷When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

⁷Ko poganjajo brezbožni kakor trava in cveto vsi, ki delajo krivico, se to godi, da bi se pogubili vekomaj.

⁸But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

⁸Ti pa si vzvišen vekomaj, o GOSPOD!

⁹For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

⁹Ker glej, sovražniki tvoji, GOSPOD, ker glej, sovražniki tvoji poginejo, razprše se vsi, ki delajo krivico.

¹⁰But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

¹⁰Rog moj pa povzdigneš kakor samorogov, maziljen bodem s presnim oljem.

¹¹Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

¹¹In oko mi bo gledalo z veseljem na zalezovalce moje, o hudodelcih, ki vstajajo zoper mene, na svoja ušesa zaslišim, kar mi bo všeč.

¹²The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹²Kakor palma bo zelenel pravičnik, kakor cedra na Libanonu bo rastel.

¹³Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹³Zasajeni v hiši GOSPODOVI bodo v vežah Boga našega poganjali mladike.

¹⁴They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

¹⁴Še v sivosti bodo dajali sad, čvrsti ostanejo in zeleneči,da oznanjajo, da je pravičen GOSPOD, skala moja, in krivice v njem ni nobene.

¹⁵To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
