¹But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

¹АММО дар миёни қавм анбиёи козиб низ буданд, чунон ки дар миёни шумо ҳам муаллимоки козиб хоҳанд буд, ки бидъатҳои ҳалокатоварро ҷорӣ хоҳанд кард ва Худовандеро, ки барои онҳо фидия дод, инкор намуда, ба зудӣ ба сари худ ҳалокат хоҳанд овард.

²And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

²Ва бисьёр касон фиску фуҷури онҳоро пайравӣ хоҳанд кард, ва ба василаи онҳо роҳи ростӣ гирифтори таҳқир ҳоҳад шуд.

³And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

³Ва аз рӯи тамаъкорй бо суханони макромез шуморо ба дом хоҳанд даровард; ҳукми онҳо кайҳо муҳайёст, ва ҳалокати онҳо пинак нарафтааст.

⁴For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

⁴Зеро, модоме ки Худо ба фариштаҳои гуноҳкор амон надод, балки оиҳоро дар ҷаҳаннам андохта, ба мағораҳои зулмот супурд, то ки барои доварӣ дар қайду банд нигоҳ дошта шаванд;

⁵And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

⁵Ва ба дуньёи қадим амон надод, балки фақат ҳашт нафар ва аз он ҷумла Нӯҳро, ки воизи адолаг буд, маҳфуз дошта, бар олами осиён тӯфон овард;

⁶And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

⁶Ва шаҳрҳои Садӯм ва Амӯроро ба ҳалокат маҳкум намуд ва, ҳамчун тимсоле барои осиёни оянда, ба хокистар табдил дод,

⁷And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

⁷Ва Лути одилро, ки аз рафтори фосиқонаи шарирон ба танг омада буд, раҳо кард, -

⁸(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

⁸Зеро ки он одил дар миёни онҳо умр ба сар бурда ва корхои бади онҳоро дида ва шунида, ҷони одилонаи худро ҳаррӯза меозурд, -

⁹The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

⁹Пас Худованд медонад, ки чӣ гуна парҳезгоронро аз озмоиш раҳо кунад ва шариронро барои ҷазо то рӯзи доварӣ дар қайду банд нигоҳ дорад,

¹⁰But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

¹⁰Алалхусус онҳоеро, ки аз паи ҳавасҳои кабеҳи ҷисм мераванд, ва аз сарварон нафрат доранд, ва густохй ва худсарй мекунанд ва аз бадгӯӣ дар ҳаққи мақомҳои осмонӣ наметарсанд,

¹¹Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

¹¹Дар сурате ки ҳатто фариштагон, ки дар қудрат ва қувват аз онҳо бартарӣ доранд, ба ҳузури Худованд дар ҳаққи онҳо ҳукми мазамматкунандае ба забон намеронанд.

¹²But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

¹²Аммо онҳо ҳамчун ҳайвоноти безабоне ки табиатан барои шикор ва талаф гаваллуд ёфтаанд, ба он чи намефаҳманд, бӯҳтон мезананд, ва онҳо дар фасоди худ талаф хоҳанд шуд,

¹³And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

¹³Ва подонш шарорати худро хоҳанд ёфт, зеро ки айшу нӯши ҳаррӯзаро барои худ роҳат медонанд; онҳо, ки беҳаё ва қабоҳаткор ҳастанд, аз ҳуққабозиҳои ҳуд лаззат мебаранд, ҳангоме ки бо шумо айшу ишрат мекунанд.

¹⁴Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

¹⁴Чашмони онҳо пур аз зино ва гуноҳи доимист; онҳо ҷонҳои ноустуворро ба дом медароваранд; дили онҳо ба тамаъкорӣ омӯхта шудааст; онҳо фарзандони лаънат ҳастанд.

¹⁵Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

¹⁵Онҳо роҳи ростро тарк карда, гумроҳ шудаанд ва аз паи Билъом ибни Баӯр рафтаанд, ки вай музди ноҳақро дӯст медошт.

¹⁶But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

¹⁶Аммо дар шарорати худ мазаммат карда шуд: модахари безабон бо овози одамӣ сухан ронда, девонагии набиро боздошт.

¹⁷These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

¹⁷Онҳо чашмаҳои беоб ва абрҳое ҳастанд, ки бо тундбод ронда мешаванд: барои онхо зулмоти торикии абадӣ муҳайё шудааст.

¹⁸For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

¹⁸Зеро ки суханони беҳудаи дабдабаноке гуфта, онҳоеро, ки навакак аз гумроҳон халос шудаанд, ба доми ҳавасҳои ҷисм, ба доми фисқу фуҷур медароваранд;

¹⁹While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

¹⁹Ба онҳо озодиро ваъда медиҳанд, дар сурате ки худашон ғуломони фасод ҳастанд; зеро ҳар кӣ касеро мағлуб карда бошад, ҳамон кас ғуломи ӯст.

²⁰For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

²⁰Зеро, агар ба василаи шинохтани Худованд ва Наҷотдиҳандаи мо Исои Масеҳ аз қабоҳатҳои дуньё халосӣ ёфта, аз нав ба доми онҳо афтода мағлуб мешуда бошанд, анҷоми онҳо бадтар аз аввалашон мешавад.

²¹For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

²¹Барои онҳо надонистани роҳи адолат беҳтар мебуд аз он ки, баъд аз донистани он, аз ҳукми муқаддасе ки ба оиҳо супурда шулааст, рӯй гардонанд.

²²But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

²²Ба онҳо ҳамон чизе рӯй додааст, ки дар ин зарбулмасали дуруст гуфта мешавад: "Саг ба қаи худ баргашт", ва: "Хук баъд аз шустушӯй рафт, ки дар лой ғел занад".
