¹I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

¹ПАС, ман, ки дар Худованд бандй ҳастам, аз шумо хоҳипгмандам, ки муносиби мақоме ки ба он хонда шудаед, рафтор кунед,

²With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

²Бо тамоми мулоимат ва фурӯтанй ва пурсабрй якдигарро дар муҳаббат таҳаммул намоед,

³Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

³Ва саъю кӯшиш кунед, ки ягонагии Рӯҳро дар иттифоқи осоиштагй нигоҳ доред:

⁴There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

⁴Як Бадан ҳаст ва як Рӯҳ, чунон ки шумо низ ба як умеди муайян даъват шудаед;

⁵One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

⁵Як Худованд ҳаст, як кмон, як таъмид,

⁶One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

⁶Як Худо ва Падари ҳама, ки Ӯ бар болои ҳама, ва ба воситаи ҳама, ва дар ҳама мебошад.

⁷But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

⁷Аммо ба ҳар яке аз мо файз ба андозаи атои Масеҳ бахшида шудааст.

⁸Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

⁸Бинобар ин гуфта шудааст: "Ба афроз сууд намуда, асиронро ба асирӣ бурд ва баодамон бахшоишҳо дод".

⁹(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

⁹Ва "сууд намуд" гуфтан чкст, чуз ин ки Ӯ пештар ба асфали замин нузул ҳам карда буд?

¹⁰He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

¹⁰Он ки нузул карда буд, Хдмон аст, ки болотар аз тамоми афлок сууд ҳам намуд, то ки ҳама чизро пур кунад.

¹¹And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

¹¹Ӯ баъзеро ҳавворӣ, баъзеро анбиё, баъзеро башоратдиҳанда, баъзеро шубон ва муаллим таъин намуд,

¹²For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

¹²Барои такмили муқаддасон ба кори ибодат, ба бинои Бадани Масеҳ,

¹³Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

¹³То даме ки ҳамаамон ба ягонагии имон ва шиносоии Писари Худо, ба дараҷаи шахси комил, ба апдозаи бузургии пурраи Масеҳ бирасем,

¹⁴That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

¹⁴То ки мо дигар кӯдаконе набошем, ки бо боди ҳар таълим калавонида ва ронда мешаванд, аз найрангбозии одамон, ки бо талбис дар иштибоҳ андохта, гумроҳ мекунад,

¹⁵But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

¹⁵Балки дар муҳаббат ростиро баён намуда, мо дар ҳар чиз ба Он ки Сар аст, яъне ба Масеҳ нумӯ ёбем.

¹⁶From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

¹⁶Аз Ӯ тамоми Бадан, ба воситаи ҳар навъ пайвандҳои тақвияткунавда мустаҳкам ва пайваст шуда, бо амали ҳар ағдоми ҷудогона ба ағдозаи хоси он, афзоиш меёбад, то ки худро дар муҳаббат бино кунад.

¹⁷This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

¹⁷Пас, чунин мегуям ва дар Худованд шаҳодат медиҳам, ки шумо дигар он тавр рафтор накунед, ки бутпарастон аз рӯи хаёлоти ҳеҷу пучи худ рафтор мекунағд.

¹⁸Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

¹⁸Ақлашон тира гардида, онҳо аз ҳаёти Худо бегона шудаағд, ба сабаби ҷаҳолат ва дилсахтие ки ба онҳо хос аст.

¹⁹Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

¹⁹Онҳо то ба дараҷаи лоуболй расида, ба фиску фучур моил шудаағд, ба тавре ки ҳар кори зиштро бо рағбати тамом ба ҷо меоварағд.

²⁰But ye have not so learned Christ;

²⁰Вале шумо Масеҳро ин тавр ёд нагирифтед,

²¹If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

²¹Дар сурате ки дар бораи Ӯ шунидаед ва дар Ӯ таълим гирифтаед, - ба ҳасби ростие ки дар Исост, -

²²That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

²²Пас рафтори пештараи одами кӯхнаро, ки дар шаҳавоти дилфиреб фосид мешавад, аз худ дур кунед,

²³And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

²³Ва хиради шумо бояд дар Рӯҳ тоза шавад,

²⁴And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

²⁴Ва одами навро, ки ба шабоҳати Худо дар адолат ва қудсияти ростӣ офарида шудааст, дар бар кунед.

²⁵Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

²⁵Бинобар ин, кизбро аз худ дур карда, ҳар яке ба ери худ рост гӯед, чунки мо андоми якдигарем.

²⁶Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

²⁶Агар хашмгин шуда бошед, хато накунед ва нагузоред, ки газаби шумо то ғуруби офтоб боқй бимонад;

²⁷Neither give place to the devil.

²⁷Ва ба иблис ҷой надиҳед.

²⁸Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

²⁸Касе ки дуздӣ кардааст, дигар дуздӣ накунад, балки меҳнат карда, бо дастҳои худ кори фоиданоке ба ҷо оварад, то чизе дошта бошад, ки ба эҳтиёҷмавде бибахшад.

²⁹Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

²⁹Ҳеҷ як сухани қабеҳе аз даҳонатон набарояд, балки фақат сухани нек, ки дар вақти эҳтиёҷот барои обод кардан бошад, то ки ба шунавандагонаш файз бахшад.

³⁰And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

³⁰Ва Рӯҳулкудси Худоро, ки бо Он ба интизори рӯзи озодӣ мӯҳр зада шудаед, андӯҳгин накунед.

³¹Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

³¹Ҳар гуна кудурат ва қаҳр, ва ғазаб ва фарьёд, ва бадгӯӣ бигзор аз шумо бо ҳар навъ шарорат дур шавад;

³²And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

³²Балки ба якдигар меҳрубон ва дилсӯз бошед ва якдигарро афв намоед, чунон ки Худо низ моро дар Масеҳ афв намудааст.
