¹Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

¹ЭЙ фарзандон, ба падару модари худ дар Худованд итоат намоед, зеро ки ин аз рӯи инсоф аст.

²Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

²"Падар ва модари худро иззат намо", ин аст.ҳукми аввалин бо чунин ваъда:

³That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

³"То ки некӯаҳвол бошӣ ва бар замин умри дароз бинй".

⁴And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

⁴Ва шумо, эй падарон, фарзандони худро ба хашм наоваред, балки онҳоро дар таълимот ва насиҳати Худованд тарбия кунед.

⁵Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

⁵Эй ғуломон, ба оғоёни башарии худ бо тарсу ларз ва бо соддадилӣ, мисли он ки ба Масеҳ бошад, итоат намоед,

⁶Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

⁶На бо ҳозирхизматии зоҳирӣ, ҳамчун одампарастон^ балки ҳамчун ғуломони Масеҳ, ки иродаи Худоро аз таҳти дил ба чо меоваранд.

⁷With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

⁷Ғаӣратмандона хизмат кунед, мисли он ки ба Масеҳ бошад, на ба одамон,

⁸Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

⁸Зеро медонед, ки ҳар кас, хоҳ ғулом бошад, хоҳ озод, ба андозаи кори неке ки кардааст, аз Худованд мукофот хоҳад гирифт.

⁹And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

⁹Ва шумо, эй оғоён, бо онҳо низ ҳамин тавр рафтор кунед, ва аз таҳдид даст кашед, ва бидонед, ки бар сари шумо ҳам дар осмон Оғое ҳаст, ва Ӯ рӯйбинӣ надорад.

¹⁰Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

¹⁰Ниҳоят, эй бародаронам, дар Худованд ва дар тавоноии қудрати Ӯ неруманд шавед.

¹¹Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹¹Зиреҳи куллии Худоро дар бар кунед, то ки битавонед ба дасисаҳои иблис муқобилат намоед.

¹²For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

¹²Чунки муборизаи мо на бар зидди хун ва ҷисм аст, балки бар зидди сарварон, бар зидди ҳукуматдорон, бар зидди фармонравоёни ин олами зулмот аст, бар зидди қувваҳои рӯҳии шарорат, ки дар афлок аст.

¹³Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

¹³Бинобар ин, зиреҳи куллии Худоро бигиред, то ки дар рӯзи бад муқобилат намуда ва ҳама корҳоро анҷом дода, истодагӣ карда тавонед.

¹⁴Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

¹⁴Пас, бо ростӣ камар баста ва ҷавшани адолатро дар бар карда, биистед,

¹⁵And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

¹⁵Ва пойафзоли омодагиро барои додани башорати осоиштагӣ ба пои худ бипӯшед,

¹⁶Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

¹⁶Дар айни ҳол сипари имонро бигиред, ки бо он ҳамаи тирҳои тафсони шарирро хомӯш карда метавонед;

¹⁷And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

¹⁷Ва хӯди наҷотро бигиред, ва шамшери Рӯҳро, ки каломи Худост;

¹⁸Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

¹⁸Дар ҳар вақт дар Рӯҳ бо ҳар дуо ва илтимос дуо гӯед, ва ҳушьёр ва босабот буда, ҳамеша дар бораи ҳамаи муқаддасон илгимос кунед,

¹⁹And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

¹⁹Барои ман низ дуо гӯед, то ба ман калом ато шавад, ки даҳон кушода, сирри башоратро боҷуръат баён намоям,

²⁰For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

²⁰Ки барои 0н ман дар занҷирҳо вазифаи сафирро ба ҷо меоварам, то ки далерона ва ба таври бояду шояд сухан гӯям.

²¹But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:

²¹Ва барои он ки шумо низ аз вазъиятам ва корҳоям воқиф шавед, Тӯхиқӯс, ки бародари маҳбуб ва хизматгузори амин дар Худованд аст, шуморо аз ҳар хусус хабардор хоҳад кард,

²²Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

²²Ки ӯро барои ҳамин назди шумо фиристодам, то ки аз вазъияти мо огоҳ бошед, ва ӯ дилҳои шуморо тасаллӣ диҳад.

²³Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²³Бародаронро осоиштаги ва муҳаббат бо имон аз ҷониби Худои Пддар ва Исои Масеҳи Худованд бод.

²⁴Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

²⁴Бо ҳамаи онҳое ки ба Худованди мо Исои Масеҳ муҳаббати бефано доранд, файз бод, омин.
