¹Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

¹БИНОБАР ин мо бояд ба он чи игунидаем, маҳсусан бодиққат бошем, то ки аз он дур нашавем.

²For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

²Зеро, агар каломе ки ба василаи фариштагон гуфта шудааст, матин буда, барои ҳар ҷиноят ва беитоатй подоши одилона дода шуда бошад,

³How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

³Чй гуна мо халос мешавем, агар ба чунин наҷоти бузург беэътиноӣ кунем, ки онро аввал Худованд мавъиза намуд ва баъд онҳое ки аз Ӯ пгунидаанд, дар миёни мо тасдиқ кардаанд,

⁴God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

⁴Ва Худо низ ба он шаҳодат дод ба воситаи аломот ва мӯъҷизот, ва ҳар навъ қувваҳо, ва бахшоиши Руҳулқудс ба ҳасби иродаи Худ?

⁵For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

⁵Зеро олами ояндаро, ки дар бораи он сухан меронем, Худо ба фариштагон мутеъ накардааст,

⁶But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?

⁶Балки касе дар ҷое шаҳодат дода, гуфтааст: "Чист инсон, ки ӯро ёд кунй, ва фарзанди одам, ки ӯро тафаққуд намоӣ?

⁷Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

⁷Ӯро аз фариштагон фақат андак кам кардаӣ; ва тоҷи ҷалол ва шавкат бар сари ӯ гузоштай; ӯро бар аъмоли дастҳои Худ ҳукмфармо кардаӣ;

⁸Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

⁸"Ҳама чизро зери пои ӯ гузоштаӣ". Модоме ки ҳама чизро ба ӯ мутеъ кардааст, пас ҳеҷ чизе намондааст, ки мутеи ӯ набошад. Вале ҳоло ҳанӯз намебинем, ки ҳама чиз мутеи ӯ бошад;

⁹But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

⁹Балки мебинем, ки Исо, ки аз фариштагон андак кам карда шуда буд, ба сабаби азоби мамот алҳол тоҷи ҷалол ва шавкат бар сар дорад, то ки ба ҳасби файзи Худо зоиқаи мамотро барои ҳама бичашад.

¹⁰For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

¹⁰Зеро лозим буд, ки Ӯ, ки ҳама чиз барои Ӯст ва ҳама чиз аз Ӯст, барои ин ки фарзандони бисьёрро ба ҷалол бирасонад, Пешвои наҷоти онҳоро ба воситаи уқубатҳо комил гардонад.

¹¹For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

¹¹Зеро ки ҳам Тақдискунанда ва ҳам тақдисшавандагон, ҳама аз Ягона ҳастанд; ба ин сабаб Ӯ ор намекунад, ки онҳоро бародар хонад, ва мегӯяд:

¹²Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

¹²"Исми Туро ба бародаронам шуҳрат хоҳам дод, дар миёни ҷамоат Туро мадҳ хоҳам кард".

¹³And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

¹³Ва боз: "Ман ба Ӯ таваккал хоҳам кард". Ва боз: "Инак, Ман ва фарзандоне ки Худо ба Ман додааст".

¹⁴Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

¹⁴Ва азбаски фарзандон ба ҷисм ва хун шарокат доранд, Ӯ низ шарики инҳо гардид, то ки ба воситаи мамот соҳиби қудрати мамотро, яъне иблисро нобуд намояд.

¹⁵And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

¹⁵Ва онҳоеро, ки аз тарси мамот тамоми умри худ гирифтори ғуломй буданд, халосй диҳад.

¹⁶For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

¹⁶Зеро ки Ӯ фариштагонро дастгирӣ накардааст, балки насли Иброҳимро дасттирӣ кардааст.

¹⁷Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

¹⁷Бинобар ин Ӯ мебоист аз ҳар ҷиҳат ба бародарони Худ монанд мешуд, то ки Саркоҳини раҳим ва амине ба ҳузури Худо бошад, барои он ки гуноҳҳои қавмро кафорат кунад,

¹⁸For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

¹⁸Зеро, чӣ тавре ки Худи Ӯ аз озмоиш гузашта, уқубат кашидааст, ба озмудашавандагон низ метавонад мадад расонад.
