¹Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

¹ПАС, дар сурате ки ваъдаи дохилшавй ба оромии Ӯ ҳанӯз боқист, мо хавотир хоҳем дошт, мабодо маълум гардад, ки касе аз шумо муваффақ нашудааст.

²For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

²Зеро ки башорат ба мо низ, чунон ки ба онҳо, мавъиза карда шуд; аммо ба онҳо каломе ки шуниданд, фоидае набахшид, чунки бо имони шунавандагон напайваст.

³For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

³Зеро мо, ки имон овардаем, ба он оромй дохил хоҳем шуд, чунон ки Ӯ гуфтааст: "Ман дар ғазаби Худ қасам хӯрдам, ки онҳо ба оромии Ман дохил нахоҳанд шуд", гарчанде ки корҳои Ӯ аз хилқати олам анҷом ёфта буд.

⁴For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

⁴Зеро ки дар ҷое дар бораи рӯзи ҳафтум чунин гуфта шудааст: "Ва Худо дар рӯзи ҳафтум аз ҳамаи корҳои Худ ором гнрифт".

⁵And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

⁵Ва боз дар ин ҷо: "Онҳо ба оромии Ман дохил нахоҳанд шуд".

⁶Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

⁶Пас, дар сурате ки баъзе касон имконият доранд ба он дохил шаванд, вале онҳое ки башорат барояшон пештар мавъиза карда шуда буд, аз боиси беитоатӣ дохил нашуданд, -

⁷Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

⁷Боз Ӯ рӯзеро муайян намуда, баъд аз муддати дуру дарозе ба воситаи Довуд "имрӯз" мегӯяд, чунон ки дар боло гуфта шудааст: "Имрӯз, агар овози Ӯро бишнавед, дилҳои худро сахт накунед".

⁸For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

⁸Зеро, агар Еҳушаъ баонҳо оромӣ медод, баъд аз ин дар бораи рӯзи дигар сухан ронда намешуд.

⁹There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

⁹Пас, барои кдвми Худо боз оромии щанбе боқӣ мемонад.

¹⁰For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

¹⁰Зеро, касе ки ба оромии Ӯ дохил шудааст, худаш низ аз корҳои худ ором гирифтааст, чунон ки Худо аз корҳои Худ.

¹¹Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

¹¹Пас, саъю кӯшиш намоем, ки ба он оромӣ дохил шавем, мабодо касе гирифтори он беитоатии ибратомез шуда, фурӯ ғалтад.

¹²For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

¹²Зеро ки каломи Худо зинда ва таъсирбахш ва аз ҳар шамшери дудама тезтар аст, ва то ба ҳадди ҷудо кардани ҷон ва рӯҳ, буғумҳо ва иликҳо рафта мерасад, ва андеша ва ниятҳои дилро месанҷад.

¹³Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

¹³Ва ҳеҷ махлуқе нест, ки аз Ӯ ниҳон бошад, балки ҳама чиз пеши чашмони Ӯ бараҳна ва ошкор аст: ба Ӯ ҳисобот хоҳем дод.

¹⁴Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

¹⁴Пас мо, ки чунин Саркоҳини бузурге дорем, ки афлокро тай намудааст, ва Ӯ Масеҳи Писари Худост, эътирофи худро боматонат нигоҳ дорем.

¹⁵For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

¹⁵Зеро мо чунон саркоҳин надорем, ки дар заъфҳои мо натавонад ба мо дилсӯзӣ намояд, балки Ӯ монанди мо, дар ҳама чиз озмудаи васвасае шуд, вале гуноҳ накард.

¹⁶Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

¹⁶Бинобар ин бо ҷуръат ба тахти файз наздик оем, то ки марҳамат ба даст оварем ва барои мадади саридарвакт файз ёбем.
