¹For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

¹ЗЕРО ҳар саркоҳине ки аз миёни одамон интихоб шудааст, барои одамон ба хизмати Худо гузошта мешавад, то ки барои гуноҳҳо ҳадия ва курбониҳо тақдим кунад,

²Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

²Ки вай метавонад ба ҷоҳилон ва гумроҳон ғамхорй намояд, чунки худаш низ гирифтори заъф аст,

³And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

³Ва ба ин сабаб бояд ҳам барои қавм ва ҳам барои худаш қурбонии гуноҳҳоро такдим кунад.

⁴And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

⁴Ва ҳеҷ кас худ аз худ ин мартабаро соҳиб намешавад, балки фақат вақте ки аз ҷониби Худо даъват шавад, чунон ки Ҳорун низ.

⁵So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

⁵Ҳамчунин Масеҳ низ ҷалоли Саркоҳинро Худаш аз они Худ накардааст, балки Он ки ба Ӯ гуфтааст: "Ту Писари Ман ҳастӣ; Ман имрӯз Падари Ту шудаам";

⁶As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

⁶Чунон ки дар ҷои дигар низ мегӯяд: "Ту коҳин ҳастӣ то абад, ба монанди Малкисодақя.

⁷Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

⁷Дар айёме ки Ӯ дар ҷисм буд, ба Он ки метавонист Ӯро аз мамот наҷот диҳад, бо фиғони пурзӯр ва бо ашкрезӣ дуо ва тазаррӯъ намуд, ва ба хотири таъзиму такрими Худ иҷобаг карда шуд,

⁸Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

⁸Ва агарчи Писар буд, ба василаи уқубатҳо ба итоат омӯхта шуд,

⁹And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

⁹Ва камол ёфта, барои ҳамаи мутеони Худ сабабгори наҷоти ҷовидонӣ гардид,

¹⁰Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

¹⁰Ва Худо Ӯро Саркоҳине ба монанди Малкисодақ ном ниҳод.

¹¹Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

¹¹Дар ин хусус мебоист бисьёр суҳан мерондем, лекин фаҳмондани он душвор аст, чунки гӯшҳои шумо вазнин шудааст,

¹²For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

¹²Зеро, мувофиқи дарозии замон, мебоист шумо муаллим мешудед, лекин аз нав ба шумо асосҳои аввалини каломи Худоро таълим додан лозим меояд, ва барои шумо шир даркор аст, на ғизои сахт.

¹³For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

¹³Зеро ҳар кӣ ширхӯр аст, аз каломи адолат беҳабар аст, чунки кӯдак аст;

¹⁴But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

¹⁴Вале ғизои сахт барои касонест, ки ба камол расидаанд, ки ҳиссиёташон ба василаи малака ба фарқ кардани неку бад омӯхта шудааст.
